Chapter 2056 Ceremony
Ling Tian looked at Sam with a weird expression.
"What kind of trouble are trying to stir up?"
Sam just looked at him calmly and replied.
"All I asking for is some information. That is all."
"Well, the nature of the information is what is surprising to me. Why are you asking about the entry qualifications for the event? Don't think I don't know about your friends in the region. They have been moving around quite a lot.
I was keeping an eye on them just in case.
So, you better come clean right now, if you have any plans."
"I won't say I don't have any plans, however it won't have the same impact, if I give you all the details. Just tell me what the entry criteria for the event is."
"Well, since you are the winner of the tournament and the felicitation ceremony is for your, you have right to invite a few people on your own. Some important people in the Academy will also have some passes to give to the other people.
Apart from that, except for the important seniors with high level rankings acknowledged by the Academies together, the other academy seniors cannot even attend the event.
Of course, some of our exceptional seniors like Dove will also have passes.
Only these passes are the way for people to attend the event. So, if you use your own passes and let them come here, and they cause any trouble, it is very easy for everyone to trace it back to you.
So, you better refrain from doing anything shady.

Sam just ignored Ling Tian's advice and asked a few more questions about the event. After that, despite Ling Tian's constant queries about what he was planning to do, Sam just left. He went back to his dorm and used the wrist band to communicate with the teammates.
"Hello guys, I wasn't able to contact you immediately after I came. However, I am guessing that all of you met the target that I have set for you?"
Sam asked. This question is directed at the team members that had yet to break through to Divine Plane before he went off to the finals. As promised, all of the broke through.
"Now that you guys are ready, how about I give you guys a chance to show off, against the best of the best the Olympian region has to offer. I will also let you guys see my brand new creation. Trust me, it will be magnificent."
He started giving off more instructions. After he was done there, Sam contacted Nalan.
"I need a favor."
"What do I need to do?" Nalan agreed readily.
"How many passes do you got and how many more can you obtain without raising any suspicions or questions from the Elders of the Academy?"
"How many do you want?"
"One each for Jwala, Tamas, Sia, Gyan, Kiran and Stone. Of course, one for Night Ghost too."
"No problem, I can arrange something. Consider it done. Just tell them to come and stay in the restaurant for the next few hours. It will be easier for me."
"Sure."
Sam made the calls to the rest and told them to go to the Nalan's restaurant.
Time passed and Sam soon got messages everyone in the team. They told him that they obtained their pass and Sam eagerly waited for the evening.
Now the event wouldn't be as boring as it was originally supposed to be.
He called Stone.
"Are you ready?" Stone is very nervous and didn't even know how to answer it. He couldn't let out a courtesy okay to Sam.
"Don't worry too much. Trust your new self. Just like you practiced. This is the first step for you to get back what you desired so far. Prove that you truly deserve it and I will lay down a path for you to send a message to the Zeus Academy. A message so loud and clear that it will reverberate throughout the realms.
Get ready."
He cut the call off.
Soon, it is past dusk.
Sam walked out of his dorm, stretching lazily. However, his eyes are brimming with excitement.
His friends who are ranked in top ten already arrived there and they are all gathered at the main table which was especially laid out of them. The seat to the Sam's right is empty. That is where White was supposed to sit.
However, he is nowhere to be seen.
Sam assumed that the other party must have not recovered until now.
Watt, Jack, Philip are eagerly waiting for him.
"What got you so excited? You have been on calls since afternoon."
"You will see. There is a great news. I feel like getting drunk just imagining it." Sam said. This is not his usual self. No matter what kind of thing Sam has created until now, he was always composed. In fact, once he created something he felt a sense of defeat.
The excitement was only until he could finish building it.
However, this is the first in a long long while he was this excited about a successfully finished project.
Not just the trio, the rest also noticed his weird enthusiasm. When Philip was about ask more questions, he noticed Bronte arriving and taking his seat.
"Hello."
He awkwardly greeted all of them.
Sam nodded at him and so did the rest of the team.
Soon the ceremony began. There are speeches starting from the Dean of the Zeus Academy and it ended with the Speech of Wharton. Sam was bored out of his mind and his gaze is mostly locked on to the spectators.
He saw Pearl sitting at one of the tables.
She is looking at him with all resentment a creature could muster. Sam smirked. He is provoking her. Pearl gritted her teeth and turned to Rain.
"Contact Christos. Tell him, I am open for the discussion."
Rain was stunned, but he nodded in the end. Pearl turned her attention back to Sam. In her opinion, her perfect plan was ruined because of Sam. She could have suppressed everyone in the Olympian region and with the same level of dominance she would have dominated the tournament in the finals.
She should have been the MVP of this year's tournament. She has been preparing for this for months. However, Sam came in and dragged it away from her. At first, with her mind games, she thought Sam was just an amusing attention seeker.
Now, she understood that this guy is the bane of her existence.
She needs to have her revenge.
As this thought came to her mind, she turned to Rain once again.
"It will challenging round soon, contact the leader of the Grade 2 students, I need a favor."
Rain did as he was told. Sam didn't know or rather didn't care for whatever Pearl was thinking. That provoking smirk is also for his own amusement and it was just a fleeting thought. In his opinion, Pearl is a dead snake. There is no point in beating her down anymore.
Unless and of course, she comes back baring her fangs.
After the speeches are over, it is time for the announcement of the awards. Dean Wharton stood up once again and said.
"This year, the Olympian region outdid itself. The freshmen were way too outstanding and they kicked some ass wildly. The Olympian academies in particular held so many positions in the top ten. Of course, they got their asses kicked by the Gambler's academy in the end…"
*COUGH* *COUGH*
The Vice Dean coughed awkwardly and halted Wharton's words.
"Anyway, because of the outstanding achievements, the rewards are going to be increased this year.
I have discussed with the Olympian academy and they have been generous enough to open the gates of the Pseudo Hell.
Based on the rankings they obtained and the results they achieved, all the people that got good results in the Freshmen tournament will be able to spend some time in the Pseudo hell."
Sam was surprised and impressed by the reward.
Pseudo hell is actually a special dimension conquered by the combined efforts of the Olympian Academies.
It simulates the environment very similar to the hell that Sam and the other players experienced. They can refine their bodies with that corruption. Even though it is best used before they broke through the Divine Plane, it is still beneficial.
After all, the hell refinement is a forgotten technique and this Pseudo hell is barely a derivate of that.
It will still be beneficial for his friends who hadn't experienced this. He decided to make them some gadgets that will amplify the experience.
That is not the only reward, there are some other rewards that are being given out by different Academies. Sam alone received a bunch of potions and pills, out of which one attracted a lot of attention.
It is a potion that purifies the Divine energy. It is best used when breaking through.
Sam held potion as he played with the vial in front of others' envious gaze as he waited for the next part of the event. The
