Chapter 2020 To the Norse Region
Everyone waited in anticipation.
Some of the Deans remembered when the last blessing was forcefully claimed like this.
It was done out of rivalry between the Olympian academies. At that time, Gambler's academy barely made the freshmen tournament contender list. And even then Zeus' blessing was never claimed. Zeus was too powerful and too spiteful for anyone to pull off such a stunt.
In fact, Zeus academy students were the ones who used claim other blessings as they inherited the arrogance of their god.
But now Zeus' blessing is being claimed.
*RUMBLE*
Lightning rumbled indicated Zeus' anger. The dark clouds condensed more and more. The lightning became denser as everyone anticipated, the first lightning bolt came.
*BOOM* *RUMBLE*
The whole area flashed with purple lightning and the bolt is aimed at Sam.
The usual thing to do is stay put and let the lightning wash over him while he defended, but Sam did the unexpected. He swung his silver lightning wolf claw at the bolt that came at him.
*BOOM*

The clouds roared more. It seems like Zeus is really pissed.
*BOOM* *RUMBLE* Second strike.
*BOOM* *RUMBLE* Third Strike.
*BOOM* *RUMBLE* Fourth Strike.
Sam just swung his claws at the lightning bolts and each of them cane with double the energy than the one before. He didn't back down. He didn't pray for the lightning to just wash over him. Instead he kept on challenging it.
*BOOM* *RUMBLE* Fifth Strike.
This time the lightning bolts are very dense and more the three bolts struck at once.
*BOOM*
"Sam's claw met with the bolts and he was stuck back. He crashed into the ground. But the grin on his face showed that he is not hurt. Almost all the silver lightning on his body turned into purple lightning at a moment.
But he quickly conquered it and flew up.
The clouds charged more and he could anticipate the energy of the next attack. He let the silver lightning energy gather at his claw. Ripple Style and Repel Style were both activated and he is ready to strike the next one.
*BOOM* *RUMBLE*
Five Bolts stuck at the same time at the same spot.
*BOOOOM* A loud explosion. Even the Grade 4 students had to flinch a bit. Sam's claw met with the bolts and it split the combined bolt into two.
One of them flew into Sam and crashed into the ground leaving a huge crater. The surrounding earth quaked a bit. Another bolt went ahead and hit Zeus' statue.
The dean of Zeus academy and the students looked at this with their eyes wide open. The rest of the students, deans and seniors did the same. This is beyond disrespectful. And Zeus got angrier once again.
Seven spots glowed in the sky and they all gathered to create one giant vortex.
A face has formed with purple lightning and it is Zeus' face. The Dean of the Zeus academy along with other Olympian Deans knelt down. The students followed suit.
The only people standing are Sam, Dean Wharton and Dove.
Zeus' face looked like it gained wrinkles from anger. The face came out and soon Zeus' whole upper body's silhouette full conjured from purple lightning is there. He held a spear that looked like a condensed lightning rod.
He gritted his teeth and threw it at Sam.
Sam's right leg condensed with all the lightning energy. His bloodline energy riled up to its limit and he didn't hesitate to use all of his divine energy.
He jumped into the air and kicked the lightning rod.
*BOOM*
*BOOM* CRASH*
Sam crashed into the ground and everyone saw as the lightning bolt was kicked back into the Sky, but when it left, the purple lightning turned into silver lightning. It blasted through Zeus' silhouette completely destroying it and merged with the clouds high in the sky.
The purple lightning completely transformed into silver lightning.
Raiju's bloodline attack.
The silver bolt merged with the clouds and conjured up with doubled silver lightning energy and it came crashing down into Zeus' statue.
*BOOM* *CRASH*
Not a single student managed to see exactly what happened. But all the Deans had their hearts dropped to their pants. They looked at Zeus' statue wide eyed and open mouthed and gulped in nervousness.
When the lightning clear, Sam is deep inside a large crater. His fusion form is gone and he looked pretty weak. There is some blood coming out of his mouth.
But there is a huge grin overshadowing that weakness and the blood.
He came out of the crater with a lot of excitement. But nobody is watching him. They are all focused one thing and one thing only. Destroyed Zeus statue.
Except for the small portion of legs, there is only rubble left of that majestic statue.
The Deans gulped down in fear. They didn't know what would happen now. This is the first time someone sullied a god's statue like this. Perceus' aura raged and he wanted to kill Sam right there.
But Dean of Zeus academy stopped him.
"It is not a crime. It is considered an accident. Don't go overboard."
The Dean's voice cracked a bit and it is barely audible.
Dove looked at Dean Wharton who is also in a trance and said.
"I will accompany Sam to the academy. Please handle the situation here."
Dean nodded without even looking.
Dove went to Sam and grabbed his hands, before anyone could talk to him, both of them disappeared.
Sam and Dove appeared inside the academy in an instant.
Sam was stunned. It took exactly two seconds for them to come from that prayer area to the academy. It is not far and even Sam could do it if he is in completely light element fusion with laser mode. But Dove didn't do that and it is not even space element.
He frowned at this.
He felt like he travelled through the whole distance, but he didn't feel the speed or air resistance on his body when moving like that. And he could have sworn that he smelled something bestial.
As he is pondering over what happened here, Dove asked.
"You have really deep grudge against the Olympus, don't you?"
Sam looked at her in confusion.
"Why do you want to know?"
Dove didn't answer and instead asked another question.
"If my guess is right, your grudge is not even against the students or the Academy. It is against the Olympian gods or it could have been Zeus himself."
Sam didn't answer and just looked at her in silence. It is not exactly a secret that he wanted to keep. There is no loss in someone knowing this information. He just wanted to know what Dove actually wants from all of this.
"I am just curious to know what is the cause of this grudge? Do you know how important the blessing is for these people?"
Dove's tone turned a bit preachy and Sam didn't like it.
"I am Sorry, I am not interested in a lecture. If you don't mind, I will be leaving for now. Just contact me when we need to leave. If you have any other stupid ceremonies like this let me know. As for the advice, please keep it to yourselves."
"Are you so arrogant that you don't even want to learn from someone who is supposed to teach you?"
Sam raised an eyebrow and said.
"Just assume that I am that arrogant and leave me alone."
Sam left without waiting for her again. He really didn't want to learn about these Gods from someone else. He has been in contact with them for years. He knew where their intentions are.
He rested for a while and the next day, it is time for them to go to Norse Region.
Dove looked at Sam with a complicated gaze.
The people from Zeus academy looked at him coldly. Particularly Perseus. He wanted to kill Sam so badly. They took a space gate formation specially reserved for the use of Academy executives.
They arrived in the middle of the city. Sam looked at them and said.
"I will come and join you guys in the afternoon as per the schedule."
He was about to walk off when Dove stopped him and asked.
"You know this region? Where are you going?"
"There is an inn with great food two streets away. The best inn in the Norse Region. I already have my living arrangements made here."
"Are you talking about the Paradise Inn?"
Sam nodded.
"We are going there only. The Norse region deans arranged our accommodation there only. We are from Gambler's academy and all of us will stay together. You cannot just run away as you wish."
