Sam wasn't really that surprised by what Karthikeya has said.
It is not even that complicated. Sam would be part of Gambler's academy and the other gods who also have an academy in the same area would also have their own students and they will be joined by the other players.
These academies might be competing for something and Sam would have to dominate the remaining academies.
It is pretty simple.
"I understand that you can find it all easy to comprehend. So, I won't bother you with the details about your exact tasks. You will figure them out as you go forward.
Instead, let's focus on the structure of that realm.
This realm is specially created by a few dozen great gods by combining a bunch of different realms. And it is solely dedicated to raise the future celestials and the demi gods for the armies of the gods. I will tell you later on what these armies are for.
The realm has two regions.
One is the Astral Region and the other is the Divine Region.
The Astral Region as you can assume, is full of smaller academies. They are run by affiliates and some independent Demi Gods. The academies are used to train and raise the Astral Plane cultivators. When a lot of gods make promises to their follower organizations and grant them opportunities, this is where they bring their followers to.
As long as they are mortals and Astral Plane cultivators, they would be admitted into these academies under different affiliates of gods to be raised and made part of God's armies.
There are also some academies in this area that are run by some gods who are not too powerful and have less ranking among their peers.
There is a whole hierarchy system which I am not going to bore you with. You will not be interacting too much with the Astral Region anyway.
Then comes the Divine Region.
As you can imagine, the Divine Region is for the Demi-god academies. And this one doesn't have as many academies as the Astral Region.
There are exactly a hundred academies within the Divine Region.
This Academy realm as we call it is a relatively new place. It has only been over there for a thousand years or so. And not all gods are part of it and not all gods can be a part of it.
When we established this, we made a rule. Anyone who can pass a certain requirements can open an academy in the Astral Region and there is no limit for the number of academies there.
But to open an academy in the Divine Region, the person has to be a god of certain standing.
They need to have a certain level of faith energy and they would have to gain the approval of at least twelve gods and three of them should be in top ten.
They also need to have opened and ran an academy within the Astral Region for over fifty years and finally, they would have to defeat one of the already existing demi god academies in a series of competitions that are previously agreed up on.
The other Divine Regions' Demi God academies would send representatives like their headmasters etc to bear witness for those tasks.
If they win, they will be entering the ranks of Demi God academies."
Karthikeya paused as he looked at Sam who had his eyes wide open.
"Are you shocked?"
"A little bit. Do you gods not have anything better to do? What is with this game? What the hell is wrong with you guys? What the hell is up with these academies and all that complicated ranking system."
"We have our reasons. You will no soon after you enter the academy. Anyway, let me continue. You need to know this information for your future to process smoothly."
"Please go ahead."
"There is another rule in Divine Region. At one time there are only going to be Hundred Demi God Academies. If a new academy joins the ranks one of the old ones are bound to be kicked out. So, it is a constant competition between them."
"What would happen to the academies that are kicked out?"
"They would be demoted to the Astral Region. They would have a grace period to redeem themselves. If they cannot do that in that time, they would have to vacate the resources and land they occupied.
One good thing is the buildings that actually constitute the academy are all movable in this realm. So, the realm will shift the academies."
Sam was stunned by this.
"You guys are moving the buildings?"
"Of course, what do you think the significance of this realm is? It is created by some of the greatest of the artisans. Soul fragments of gods were used to create a Spectre that controls the whole realm and this Spectre attaches itself with the realm through a formation that was created using the space nodes as the formation nodes."
Sam's eyes lit up as soon as he heard this.
"So, you are saying the whole realm is a giant formation?"
"Yes, of course. This might be the single greatest creation in the past millenia and it is designed by one of the founding members of the Academy realm."
"Can I get to meet them?"
"It could be possible. It depends.
After all, the gods don't stay in these academies directly. Everyone has a bunch of their subordinates handling their tasks. And of course even the subordinates don't come in their original bodies. They send their divine bodies here. I am sure you already know of that concept."
"A body created purely out of Divine energy and the will of someone very powerful."
"That's it. Gods who own the academies will come once in a while on special occasions with their Divine Bodies. Of course, some gods never showed up at all. And some gods stay here all the time."
Karthikeya went on explain all the details about the Divine region, Astral Region and the relationship between the two etc etc.
After a long winding dump of information, he finally told Sam what is going to happen next.
"You are obviously Gambler's player. So, you have a special admission into Gambler's academy. It is one of the most competitive academies and it is ranked in top 10.
You can attend the courses you like, join some clubs there and be an active participant within the academy.
I think Ling Tian is going to be there. He is one of the newly joined instructors. You will be fine.
Apart from that, you also have honorary student status in the remaining eleven academies owned by the gods that participated in the game.
As I said, the honorary student status can be achieved by clearing a certain set of exams and paying some fee to other academies. Many students try to get this with a lot of hard word. You are getting eleven of them from the get go, so use them wisely.
There are no specific demands on which direction you are going to grow in. This round would end when you are ready to breakthrough to the god hood. Which means at the peak of your Divine Plane cultivation and you formed your Divine Dimension completely.
By the time you are done, the position of the academy you are in and your contribution in making that academy stand in that position will be calculated. Both positive and negative contributions and the more contributions you have, the higher your ranking will be.
Based on who reaches the god hood first and who has more contributions the winner for this war games will be decided and after that, you will all be competing for the championship of the whole game. Which of course is far off.
Anyway, I have said too much.
Just keep what I said in mind and enjoy your stay. This is also the time you are gonna get most freedom. You can interact with your organization members. Go and develop your organization a bit. Stay at home for now and then.

Sam said as he sighed. It is indeed a massive load of information. But this is going to be a great thing indeed. He is going to interact with the gods' armies directly and he could finally deal with them. All this while they played around with him and now it is Sam's time to do the same to them.
"If you don't have anything, you can leave right away. You will be in the city square near the Gambler's academy. You can roam around for a while and enter the academy whenever you like. You just need to enter there and someone would come and arrange things for you.
You are a special admission after all."
"Thanks. See you soon. Also, all the best for what you are about to see."
"Looking forward to it. Go easy on my students."
Karthikeya winked as he waved his hand.
Sam disappeared from the spot.
Karthikeya disappeared from there and he reappeared in the meeting spot. The same meeting where the gods usually meet for the discussion of the game.
Gambler, Indra, Zeus and the rest are all in their seats. They were waiting for Karthikeya to arrive.
"So, Sam was sent to the Academy realm?"
Gambler asked with his usual cheeky smile.
"Yeah, he was. Now, let's talk about the interference in my round of the game."
Karthikeya had a serious expression on his face as he looked at Zeus.
