That night went off with Sandhya lost in confusion.
All this while she pursued cultivation to increase her strength as much as she can. To gain that lifespan to live until the end of time. But it seems so shallow all of a sudden.

"We have to move. The next disaster is coming in three days and that place is called Ruby City."
That is the news that Sam gave first thing in the morning to the Priestess.
"Perfect timing, all the clan leaders are already back with the crew. I think you can be sure of what the disaster is going to be too."
"Is there a very distinct feature there?"
"Yeah, the Ruby city is right next to a Volcanic region. There are more than five to six active volcanoes very close to the city."
Sam nodded at that. It is kind of obvious. But of course, Sam could only venture a guess that the Volcanoes are going to be involved in the disaster, it is still not clear whether the volcanoes are simply going to erupt or another godly figure is going to popup out of nowhere along with a very conscious Lava appearing in some dragon forms or something.
It is very likely of course.
"Okay then, I will leave now. Thank you."
As he was about to leave, Priestess asked.
"The thing you said about Immortality. Do you really not desire the infinite lifespan? Do you really not desire the godhood that gives you the power to decide the fate of many?"
Sam thought for a moment and said.
"What is so desirable in godhood? I have power to decide the fate and destiny in my hands now and I am literally doing that now. And I am not doing that with the energy of faith these gods accumulated over time.
I am doing that with my mind.
The power that is completely under my control. The me that I am now, my current state is always more appealing than the godhood."
With those words he left.
Priestess went to the prayer room and performed the ritual.
"That kid, is indeed very interesting…" She went on to speak about what they talked about the immortality etc.
"Wow, you guys are having so much fun. I am not surprised that you like him. But I never thought that you would connect with him like this. What about it?" Karthikeya asked in an intrigued tone.
"Nothing much. I just wanted to see what kind of toll the life has taken on him. As I said, he has carried way too much burden."
Meanwhile, Sam and the young masters along with their entourage. They arrived at the Ruby City where the Ruby clan runs things. The clan leader welcomed them warmly and he is very accommodating.
"I will do my own investigation first. You guys just prepare the report on all the resource points that are around the city. The flora and fauna of the forests etc. If there are any special features about the volcanoes, let me know."
With that, Sam took off on harbinger along with the beasts. For half a day, he was only stuck with investigation. After that, he had a meeting with his beasts and the young masters.
"So, there are few things that I noticed. The mines around this place are very rich in ores. Very high quality metal. The flora and fauna are not that significant. The volcanoes of course are very important. I noticed that even though the fire elemental energy is way too high and concentrated, there are no elemental stone mines.
The energy is full concentrated within the Lava.
But one thing I noticed is that this place is not just rich in fire energy. The earth and metal energy is also rich. In fact, these three energies are balancing each other so much that the mines didn't appear.
I know it is confusing to understand, but that is the easiest explanation that I could give you."
"So, what are we going to do? Do the same as you did with Makar city? Build a massive formation around?"
"We have to do that. But we cannot do just that. I have some plans anyway. First you guys get started on the formation. It is very similar to the formation before, so your young masters might have a good understanding of this.
You guys will lead the masters you have brought and work on the external formation. Meanwhile, I will do some preparations within the city."
People were given tasks and they are working on them very quickly. No one is really stupid enough to fool around or slack off.
Meanwhile, Sam is walking around the city with Dia and a Yanwu within the city. As he walked he had the observation ability on every second.
He left some deep markings on more than a hundred spots within the streets and houses within the city. After markings are done, he went to the clan head.
"First, you need to move all the people into the main mansion. I am going to set up a very special formation around your estate. It will be five times stronger than the external formation. I might have to change a bunch of things with the structure.
But trust me, you are going to love it. Your enemies would have to work for five lifetimes to crack it and go past it. Unless and of course, they get their hands on the blueprints."
"No problem. Please do whatever you want to do."
Sam didn't let the chance go. He went ahead and decided to work on the formations. He worked on the mansion the whole afternoon and through the night until the next afternoon.
"It has taken a lot of time, I hope it will work well."
He muttered to himself and then moved to the city.
"Now we are going to work on the city marks. It is going to be really troublesome. Get ready Dia, I think you need to play a crazy role with this one."
Sam went ahead and sat down while inscribing a bunch of puppets while Dia walked around the city and started metal and earth pillars at every single mark they laid down on. The pillars are actually taking a long time. Dia took more than a few minutes to build one pillar.
Sam had to go into the second floor of the tower to speed up the process of the inscription design so that he could have some time to help Dia.
He did exactly the same. By that night, he got on working with the pillars and started carving some inscribing on those pillars too. He finished everything by the night of third day. It took a lot out of him to do so, but he finally managed to complete it.
That night he gathered everyone and said.
"The preparations is done. I don't need you guys for now. If you want to leave you can leave. Or if you want to watch the whole thing happen, just go into the main mansion and watch. But when the disaster if you are going to come out, you are going to die.
You will not be able to survive this disaster if you don't follow my instructions to the tee. Keep that in mind."
Everyone ran into the mansion even before Sam could finish his sentence.
Not a single person wants to leave the place and of course they don't want to get caught up in the situation of the disaster as well.
After everyone is gone, Sam picked a roof top in the middle of the city and sat there on a recliner chair. The beasts are also at various spots either on the roof or just on the street. They just waited there for the disaster to strike.
It didn't take long though.
After a few hours.
Within the city on a normal corner of the city, a very inconspicuous at that, the earth started heating up. The soil became red hot very soon and before long a very small hole appeared and Lava started leaking out of it.
Smoke came up as the lava leaked. The soil slowly morphed along with the lava as it turned into a humanoid figure. A golem that is size of a full grown human appeared. That is not the only one that came though.
In many corners of the city, that is exactly what happened. In fact, even within the estate that was isolated.
Sam who is relaxing on the roof opened his eyes and said.
"They are here.
Sky and Ape, you guys are in charge of the estate formation, whatever comes inside, destroy them. Go crazy. It is your ground, if any guy comes in your way, just kill them."
Sky and Ape dashed to the estate and entered the formation. Ape leaped into the air and threw a punch straight to the golem's head and crushed it with a single hit.
