Chapter 1874: Battle Ignites
The Fire Heart.
Sam looked at the large orb with a smile. The only reason resemblance it had to an actual heart is that it is also beating like an actual heart. The rhythm of it just felt like an actual heartbeat.
He dove into the crater and touched the fire heart.
His palm skin seared slightly. Instead of feeling hurt, he smiled. It indicates how pure the fire elemental energy in this fire heart is. Sam's natural resistance to the elements is very high because of his bloodline to think even he wouldn't be able to completely resist, this is a first for him.
With a wave of his hand, the whole fire heart disappeared along with a large chunk of earth from under his foot. The crater was doubled in size at least.
Sam disappeared without any delay.
Meanwhile, the fire heart was placed in an empty divine dimension fragment. The dimension fragment didn't have any natural elemental affinity.
As soon as the large chunk of earth along with the fire heart was dropped inside, it is surrounded by a large amount of pure fire elemental energy. Sam just observed the changes that are occurring slowly while waiting for the rest of the plan to progress.
Right now, he is sending two recording crystals to two different places.
One to the camp of the fire giant young master and another to the camp of the water giant young master.
While he is sending the recording crystals, he got the news from the frontline.
The humans have pressed further toward the Fire city and the resistance is increasing. So, this is the perfect time to do whatever Sam wanted to do and he did it.
The recording crystals reached both camps.
The Fire giant young master who saw the contents, walked out silently and got onto a small hill nearby. He looked at the sky with gritted teeth and clenched fists. The recording crystal is obviously manipulated a bit.
Most of it was real. All the battles, the clashes, and most of the deaths, the only part that was added extra is that it appeared like the water giant young master actually took the Fire heart and fled while the rest of his team covered his retreat.
As the young master looked at the sky trying to stifle his anger, his most trusted subordinate came forward and tried to talk to him. But the young master didn't want that. Instead, he just spoke.
"I have tried to gain this fire heart for decades. I tried searching far and wide. I have held back my own prowess so that others would eye it. I have bowed my head to lesser, I have paved the way to weaker, and all of that was in vain.
The fire heart, it was stolen by a fucking wimp that will probably wet his pants if he hears the number of people I killed. He brought a team, to within my territory and he dug up the fire heart under the nose of my men and killed every one of them while sacrificing his own soldiers.
He stole Fire heart and escaped alive.
Even a wimp like that managed to act with such ferociousness and decisiveness. But what about me?
I could have conquered all of the Fire tribes' younger generation by now. I would have risen as a candidate to be the Prime Chieftain of all the giants if I had just barely tried.
But here I am, appointed as a fucking leader of some exploration and assimilation team.
Did I take the wrong approach, my friend?"
He turned to his subordinate with that question.
His subordinate bowed his head and sighed before saying.
"Maybe you are wrong, or maybe you are right. I am not as wise as you to know the answer. But I am very sure that it is right for you to make your move now.
Show the world what you are truly capable of. It is about time, the rest of the Giants saw, what a true prodigy looks like."
"I guess you are right my friend."
He paused and took a deep breath before saying.
"Prepare all the troops, we are marching right towards the Water Giant tribe. To that wimp's direct territory. Slaughter everything that obstructs you. No detours, no setbacks. We will only stop until I see the head of that little wimp at my feet."
"Yes, Sir."
The orders were passed.
Every single person that followed the Fire Giant's young master was moved. As long as they are in this planet, they were moved. It didn't matter if they were just a foot soldier, a spy in a rival's camp or a secret soldier laying in wait.
All of them were called out and they are all assembled. They wore a very different armor than the regular Fire Giant army's uniform. When the Fire Giants at the headquarters learned of this sudden movement they were dumbfounded
The guy in charge is an elder and he knew that this young master is a very competent man. It is just that both of them are not from the same faction, so he just kept on eye on him. That is also one of the reasons, the fire giant young master was that secretive about fire heart.
The elder thought for a long while about why the Fire Giant's young master is acting up, but he couldn't find the answer.
But he thought of one thing. To use his authority.
He sent an order stating that the Fire Giant's young master should bring all of his forces to the frontlines and defend against the pressing attacks of the humans. But the fire giant young master burned the letter without opening it.
Instead, he pointed to the direction of the Water City and said.
"March."
His voice was clear and commanding. It resonated with the battle spirit of all his soldiers.
At this moment, at the camp of the Water Giants.
The commander-in-charge looked at the contents of the video and panicked.
The contents showcased that the Water Giant young master was kidnapped and it happened while he was in a fight with Fire Giants over something called the fire heart.
He didn't care what fire heart was, but he definitely cared about the kid that was kidnapped.
The problem is they don't have a clue either about his location or his possible status. There is no way they could let this kid die here. Otherwise, the very powerful father will intervene and screw everyone over.
The water giant tribe immediately sent a bunch of envoys to the fire giant tribe.
The fire giant tribe received envoys within minutes. The highest-level Giants moved at their top speed without any thought and they arrived at various camps and even the headquarters of the Fire Giants.
When they received the news of this, they understood what the possible motto of the fire giant young master could be for him to move against the Water Giant tribe.
But they really cannot confirm or deny if the young master of the Water tribe is safe. This non-answer made the water giant tribe angry. But they still didn't want to go for an all-out war. They decided to send an envoy directly to the fire giant young master.
The only problem is, the envoy wasn't heard.
He was beheaded.
He didn't even get a chance to say a single word.
But the word of his beheading reached the Water Giant Tribe.
The older brother of the young master of the Water tribe. The one guy who is truly worthy of being a rival of the young master of the fire tribe took this chance to make a move.
Just like that, the war between the Fire tribe and the Water tribe has ignited. After all, the water tribe is not just going to sit back and attack just the fire tribe's young master.
They attacked from all fronts.
Now, the fire giant tribe has to defend against the humans that are coming from the front at the Fire City and also defend against the water tribe that is coming from the back at their various camps and exploration sites.
Two intense war fronts and they don't even know that two humans, were the reason for this to escalate to this range.
Sam took a picture of the frontlines at the clash between the water tribe and the fire tribe before sending it to the commander of the humans. Mitra's uncle.
"Here is what I promised. The Fire tribe is weakened by half. If you cannot take this chance and take over fire city. You are not worthy of my services."
The message was sent.
Mitra looked at Sam and said.
"Do you understand what you just did?"
"I clearly do. I orchestrated it. What is not there to understand?"
"No, that's not what I mean. Do you understand the impact of it?"
"Impact? What could there be? Your war will be over a bit faster? Your people will die a little less? Anything else?"
"Why are you saying it so lightly? That is hundreds or even thousands of lives?"
Sam looked at him with an exasperated expression. What would the right words be at this time?
