1847 Red Dots
That evening, Sam and the group moved once again.
This time, they used a space gate to the nearest border at the sea and flew over the sea to reach the newly occupied coast.
Sam was impressed by how well-prepared the whole group was. They avoided the vines in the forest and just went past that to set up their base.
As they are passing through it, Guard Captain turned to Sam and asked.
“Can we use these vines as a defensive line in front of the base? I mean, can they be used in such a way that only the opponents will be attacked, but the rest of us wouldn’t be?”
Sam smiled and replied.
“It is possible to do that, but it will take a lot of time and research for me to produce results. If it was a couple of months before the war, then I could have done something, but right now it is not a feasible plan.
But it can indeed be used as a trap set up at the defensive line. We can also plant them in all the forest areas that might be in the path between the Forest City and this coast. If other party uses those areas to sneak their way, then it would be much better, for us.”
“So, what is the procedure? Will it take a long time?”

“Nope, you don’t have to worry about it. It is much easier than you think. Just give me a couple of minutes.”
Sam said as he opened his tablet once again, this time there is a map of the Forest City area projecting on it.
There are a bunch of red dots at various areas within the map. He thought for a moment and clicked on a few red dots before saying.
“Luckily, some of my previous preparations are still intact and functioning, you don’t have to worry about it. We only need to set up a trap line in front of the base, and for that, all they have to do is drop some seeds.”
Sam said as he passed over a spatial ring.
The Guard captain took the ring and went over to meet the person in charge of this base.
“What is the situation here? Are there any moments from the enemies?”
“Some scouts went deep into the territory and they indeed saw some changes, there are a large group of people gathering at the Forest City, but for some reason, they are not showing any signs of attack.
Instead, it seemed like they are trying to fortify their defenses.
Even the towns around them are currently manned by a bunch of powerful people, if they are really going on the defensive, it will be a tough and long fight for us.”
The commander in charge explained the situation to the Guard Captain, who in turn came back to his team to explain the situation to them.
“Seems like everything is going well until now. So, tell the commander that we will wreck the city at the midpoint and they can immediately sweep through the place. We need to cut their information.”
“But it is going to be easy?”
“It won’t be that difficult. Anyway, it will depend on who is positioned there and if my guess is right and the people I think are positioned there, it is an easy victory.”
After giving out the orders, the White House Guard moved.
This time, they took the road, of course, Sam still got on his hoverboard. It doesn’t matter if it is in the sky or a few feet above the ground, with the current power output, Harbinger can do anything.
The White Sand Guard really got jealous.
The vice-captain looked at the Harbinger with hungry eyes.
“How did you make this?”
He directly asked Sam.
“You don’t really expect me to tell you that, do you? It is my transportation method, you can’t really ask for such sensitive information outright.”
“Know, I just wanted to know if you could make some for the White Sand Guard? This kind of elite device is really suitable for the Elite Squad like us.”
“Nope, this is one of my creations that is absolutely not for sale. Particularly mine, it is one of its kind.”
“Everything has price, young man. Just let me know how much and what you want.”
As soon as the Vice-captain said it, he immediately felt that he said something wrong as he remembered how much Sam paid to just get into the White Sand Guard.
Sam smiled and said.
“Trust me, you guys are not ready for this or any other vehicles that I could make. If you want we can do business with some defensive formations, some puppets or something. If you insist on a vehicle, there is one that is for sale, but even that and all of its variants are mostly beneficial for Naval wars and battles.
Let me know if you are interested.”
Sam said plainly and ignored then for the rest of the journey. He just kept on looking at the crystal table. The map on it is constantly changing and there are a large number of red dots on it.
Soon, they reached the area around the Middle City, which they wanted to take down.
Sam swiped a few times on the tablet and soon the layout of the city appeared on it. There are a bunch of red dots all over the layout.
And when the Guard captain saw this, he was stunned. Because he felt kind of familiar with the positioning of the dots and then realization struck him.
“Are those the positions of the soldiers and fighters of the opponent?”
Sam smiled and nodded.
Sam zoomed in a bit and they noticed that there is a difference in these dots compared to the other dots they saw while they were traveling. These ones looked a little larger and a little more like a polygon with many edges.
“These are indeed the positions of all the forces within the city. The whole defensive formation of their personnel.
Seems, like there are two Divine Plane Pre-transcendent experts and they are blocking this place with a large formation. Just give me one more second.”
Sam closed his eyes and sent his consciousness to the crystal table.
The crystal table projected the whole of the city and all the people within, including the formations, hidden defensive traps, and everything that they needed to know. He could even see people making love inside.
After absorbing all the intel and recognizing a lot of faces, Sam said.
“There are 16 formations that we need to deal with. Four of them are outermost defensive formations, which are very strong, then there is the formation of archers that are standing on these walls.
They are connected to a bunch of low-level soldiers who are sitting in a formation under the city. They can draw power from nature and fuel these archers with excessive powers. Their attack power might even double or triple.
Then there are four defensive formations inside the city around the main building.
The remaining are all trap formations within and outside the city.
Sam started making the formations on the tablet and then he went on to mark some names beside the red dots.
The White Sand Guards felt like their brains are not working anymore. In the short time they have been with Sam, they just got too many surprises one after another.
If that is not enough, Sam said something else that made them lose their minds.
“I can create chaos that will completely mess up the formations. I understand their structure and I know what will happen when tweaked at the right moment.
Then, I want you to alert the Experts with some of your strongest attacks aimed at them. It will be one hit one kill.
Do you guys want to go along with it.”
Everyone exchanged a glance.
Sam is talking as if they are about to snatch candy from a child.
Looking at their disbelieving expressions, Sam said.
“Fine, here is a demonstration.”
He just clicked on a few of the red dots on the tablet.
The guards looked at the city expecting something to happen.
Sam looked as if they are idiots.
“Wait for ten minutes, if my guess is right, the walls will break down.”
As he spoke, he got off of the harbinger and sat on a tree, and tried to relax a little with his back against the trunk.
The White Sand Guard decided to wait.
Meanwhile, under the city in a well-protected and guarded bunker, there are a bunch of people sitting together as they constantly monitored a set of formation flags.
There are eighteen of these bunkers and they are in charge of keeping and maintaining the city-guarding formation in place.
A couple of minutes after Sam clicked on his tab, one of the soldiers who is checking the energy output of the formation, suddenly froze in the middle of the process and the energy that is being channeled to the formation was messed up.
