He Yuan soon laid out his takeout and ate his meal in heavy silence. He was about to head out when he suddenly remembered something.
This was the day Li Shiyu would tell Zhang Jun about the Li family issue and also the day the both of them officially consummated their relationship.
How could he forget such an important day?! He looked around the empty house and felt his mood lift by the second. Soon enough, he laughed maniacally as he went upstairs to order all sorts of sophisticated high tech cameras that were so tiny but did the job just nicely and had audios too.

He Yuan ignored the system, he was still pissed from his behaviour earlier. Once all was done, he waited patiently for the goods to arrive. He used super fast express so it didn't take long for a drone to deliver his purchase. There was even a little drone amongst his purchase as a 'thank you for patronage' gift.
Now that the cameras were in his hands, He Yuan was a little stumped. This level of tech was above his understanding. He'd been a CEO in his origin world and not a technician or a cameraman.
"888?"
888 sneered. [50 exp points.]
He Yuan started coughing violently. "Are you a thief?! This is daylight robbery, even the medical books don't cost this much! You're not even doing much just giving me a few pointers here and there so why is it so expensive?!"

He Yuan grit his teeth and settled down on the bed with the instruction manual. What a hateful system, there was no way he was going to give out 50 exp points just like that. So he spent hours figuring out how to operate and link the cameras. When he was done, it was quite late and he was sure the squad would be on their way back by now.
Rushing about, he placed one camera at Li Shiyu's bedroom, one at Zhang Jun's, one at the hallway connecting them. One in the living room and one in the kitchen. Why he decided to put the last one in the kitchen? He was not allowing himself to get drugged in any way. The servants were gone so it was quite convenient.
[Wow, you actually did it. I can't believe you spent hours handling such a simple job, quite disappointing.]
He Yuan scowled as he cross checked the video feed from Li Yexi's laptop. "Shut up." And then he paused, he just thought of something. That Zhang Ye was an overpowered little hacker. What if he snooped around and discovered the cameras? Or worse, what if he hacked into Li Yexi's laptop?
"888? I need something that could completely keep that kid out of Li Yexi's laptop, phone and the cameras too."
888 sighed. [You haven't unlocked the system marketplace yet so i can't provide a blocker. I can use my skills to camouflage the cameras and contents of the laptop and phone though.]
He Yuan grit his teeth. "How much?"

"No way! Why this even more expensive?"

This hateful system! He Yuan was about to refuse again but he heard a commotion downstairs. The Zhang squad was back. He grit his teeth and stared with red eyes as he lost 100 exp points. After 888 confirmed that he was done camouflaging the cameras and gadgets, He Yuan went downstairs with a hollowed heart.
Zhang Jun pointed at him immediately he saw him. "Li Yexi, what is the meaning of this? You clearly knew we would still need to have dinner once we returned but still dismissed the servants. Why are you so vicious? The kids are hungry, what are we supposed to do now?!"
He Yuan was already quite pissed so he waved at Zhang Jun dismissively. "You could order something. How did you manage to become a top business magnate with your level of IQ?"
888 rolled his eyes. [Says the same person that tried to make me cook for him.]
Li Shiyu looked at Li Yexi with reddened eyes. "Yexi please don't blame Zhang Jun. He was just worried because he knows the kids used to complain of stomach ache whenever they ate takeouts abroad." He turned to Zhang Jun and held his arm. "Jun it's okay, don't get angry. I'll make noodles for us to eat."
And then he walked off to the kitchen like the madam of the house whilst Zhang Jun humphed at Li Yexi and followed behind Li Shiyu like the dog that he was. The kids all eyed Li Yexi and walked off to the kitchen to act cute around their parents.
They all happily interacted as the meal was prepared whilst He Yuan ignored the fact that the adults were cultivating a potential kitchen hazard by letting in three children, more than they could attend to at a time, into the kitchen.
Once the meal was prepared, He Yuan walked over to the dining table with the rest. He had spent all day figuring out the cameras so he managed to work up an appetite, he wasn't going to starve himself because the cook disgusted him.
As soon as He Yuan picked up the chopsticks, Zhang Jun smacked the table. "Li Yexi how could you be so shameless? You sent the servants away and you are always rude to Shiyu, now you comfortably seat with us to eat the meal Shiyu painstakingly prepared?!"
He Yuan smiled broadly. "Why can't I eat the food he prepared? In case you've forgotten, Li Shiyu is my marital family's employee and the ingredients used to prepare this meal also came from our pockets." If they wanted to be shameless, he would show them true shamelessness.
"You-" Zhang Ye paused when Li Shiyu placed a palm on his hand and shook his head sadly.
He Yuan ignored them and took a slurp of the noodles. He nearly vomited his soul. What was this? Was Li Shiyu trying to kill them? He also didn't know how to cook but at least he didn't go around touching the kitchen utensils and acting like he was a five star chef!
He spit into a napkin and looked at Zhang Jun who was eating this horrible noodle paste as if it was a five star meal. Wow. Love corrupted your taste buds too.
The kids were also eating but they were quite slow and lacked the usual enthusiasm they showed when food was presented to them. Even the natural love that existed between children and their omega fathers or mothers was not strong enough to counter the taste of the horrible food.
He looked at Li Shiyu. "Are you sure your cooking wasn't the reason the kids always had stomach ache when you were abroad? Even a man who was starving to death would turn his nose up at this trash."
Li Shiyu hurriedly stood up with red eyes. "Yexi do you not like the meal? Is something wrong?"
He Yuan nearly puked blood. Did Li Shiyu not have taste buds? If nothing was wrong why did the hypocritical omega take such a small serving for himself?
Zhang Jun eyed Li Yexi and pulled Li Shiyu back to his seat. "Pay no mind to Li Yexi. If he doesn't want to eat then let him starve."
He Yuan rolled his eyes. It seemed Zhang Jun had a bit of conscience left since he decided not to rebuke him immediately. He looked down at the sticky noodles before him. He would rather starve to death than continue to eat this.
Well starving wasn't an option anyways and he wasn't in love with Li Shiyu or one of his kids so he went upstairs to order food for the second time.
