Chapter 445-Mysterious World

Swoosh!

Dave opened his eyes and found himself transported to a mystical forest.

Tall trees towered over him, and numerous spirit beasts roamed the area. Some of these creatures were strong, while others were weaker.

The spiritual energy in this place was dense, and Dave could sense many powerful enemies lurking around.

There was a formidable figure deep within the forest, and Dave wisely chose not to probe further and provoke it.

"This place is dangerous,"

Dave murmured, deciding to take flight to get a better view of the area.

However, just as he was about to ascend, he felt a shadow behind him, poised to attack.

He couldn't sense any killing intent, and the attacker's presence was expertly concealed.

Boom!

An unseen force stopped the attacker's strike just before it reached Dave's clothing.

He turned to see a humanoid figure resembling a mosquito, with a sharp needle-like nose.

"So ugly," Dave frowned, intrigued by how effectively this creature had hidden itself.

Boom!

Dave grabbed the mosquito-like creature by the neck and scanned it with his God Eyes, acquiring some information.

This creature was known as a Silver Mosquito, renowned for their talent in sucking blood to grow stronger and blending seamlessly into their environment like shadows.

The mosquito struggled in Dave's grip, but he held firm, scanning its memories before killing it without hesitation.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, a green light appeared in Dave's mind, signaling the Blessing of this world.

The more green light he collected, the higher the chance he might be summoned in the celestial plane by someone.

This green light represented an individual's luck, and if the summoner possessed a great amount of luck, only creatures with a sufficient blessing could enter the portal.

Many creatures desired a strong master rather than a mediocre summoner, which led to conflicts and alliances among them to acquire blessings, some relying on intelligence while others on instinct, like the mosquito.

"Tsk, there's no useful information from this one. Looks like I need to search for more prey."

Dave moved cautiously, despite being a divine monarch, as he was unsure if there were ambushes or powerful enemies preparing to attack him.

After an hour of searching and dispatching various creatures, Dave finally encountered an intelligent creature.

It was a humanoid wolf-like being holding two young human male captives.

The humans appeared very young, both wearing uniforms from a particular academy.

They were locked in a cage carried by the wolf humanoid, being transported to an unknown location.

Dave hadn't expected to find humans in this realm and recalled some information he had learned about humans and other creatures getting trapped here by accident.

The two humans, Jeremy and Keru, were students from the Human Academy in this world.

Born in this place, they had been sent on a special mission by the academy to hunt down enemies and acquire blessings. Humans had established their presence in this world, but they were constantly hunted by other creatures and weren't considered strong.

Some humans who had been trapped here for a long time had given up on returning and had created their own settlements, hoping that someone would eventually help them escape this place.

"What are we gonna do? Are they going to eat us?"

Keru was filled with fear, and Jeremy was equally scared.

"We were unfortunate to meet this creature, and he was very strong. He killed our other classmates, leaving only the two of us."

Both were in despair, and the wolf looked at them with disdain, sharing its intentions when it overheard their conversation.

"Hehe, puny humans are constantly hunting some of our clansmen. Our lord was angered and decided to capture some of you to be played with by my clansmen and eaten alive, keke."

Jeremy and Keru became even more afraid, but their fear turned to astonishment when the wolf suddenly stopped walking.

A handsome man appeared beside the wolf, looking at them with curiosity.

"Hey, wolfie, these two don't look delicious, and they're very thin. Your lord might become angry for bringing such poor-quality material."

Dave patted the wolf, which was stunned that Dave had appeared beside it without detection.

"Hey, are you deaf?"

Dave looked at the wolf, but it suddenly attacked him and tried to escape.

However, Dave easily caught the wolf, manipulating the void to bring it back.

"Come back here."

Dave stretched out his hand, distorting the void and forcing the wolf to appear in front of him, now kneeling in fear.

"Who are you? You're not one of the five protectors of the human clan."

The wolf was terrified as the human before him effortlessly suppressed a Saint Sovereign like itself.

Dave smiled, placed his hand on the wolf's head, and read its memories.

After scanning its memories, Dave beheaded the wolf with his fingers, satisfied with the information he had obtained.

He learned that this place was ruled by four overlords, all of whom were arrogant and proud, refusing to acknowledge a master.

These overlords guarded the summoning altars, making it difficult for humans to leave this place.

The human clan had established a hidden foothold, but they were constantly hunted by monsters who considered them delicious.

It was a miracle that humans had survived, as the four overlords treated them as livestock and allowed them to live and multiply.

Dave acquired some blessings from the wolf, giving him three green strands on top of his head.

He also obtained two green strands from the wolf he had killed.

Observing the two young humans in front of him, he saw that they had no green strands, indicating that they were newcomers who hadn't killed any monsters in their lives.

The cage that had imprisoned Jeremy and Keru disappeared with a flick of Dave's fingers.

They couldn't believe that a powerful human had saved them.

"Thank you very much, Lord, for saving us," Keru and Jeremy knelt in gratitude.

Dave waved his hand and said, "Don't thank me. Humans should help each other."

Jeremy and Keru held a deep respect for the strong man who had come to their aid.

"May I know the lord's name and which family you come from?" Jeremy asked.

Dave didn't understand the concept of a family in this context, so he discreetly read their memories to learn that the human clan was ruled by the five protectors of the human race, each of whom had their own family.

These protectors were at the peak of Divine Monarch, unable to continue their cultivation further due to this world's restrictions.
