Chapter 427 - Aby and Chaos Energy
Dave slowly opened his eyes and found himself still floating in space.
He couldn't remember exactly what had happened. His last memory was attempting to activate a skill, one that would make him invincible for a limited time.
But then, he had a sense that it wouldn't be enough against Azrael's overwhelming power.
"Right, the system," Dave muttered to himself, remembering that he had reached a critical point with his system upgrades.
"System!" Dave called out.

Suddenly, a small figure appeared in front of Dave, measuring only twelve inches in size.
It was a beautiful woman with long violet hair and deep black eyes, wearing ancient clothes he had never seen before.
Her beauty was mesmerizing, even surpassing that of the goddess of light. Dave was captivated.

"Who are you? Are you the system's image, or has the system taken on a form based on my imagination?"
Dave asked, slightly stunned.
The woman smiled and replied, "You're correct, host. I am the real embodiment of the system, and you can call me Aby. After the update, I unlocked this form and gained additional functions."
Dave was surprised but also intrigued by her appearance. However, he was more concerned about Azrael.
"Do you know what happened to Azrael? Did he manage to escape?" Dave inquired.
Aby smiled and conveyed the stunning news, "Well, I absorbed him, so basically, he's dead, and he will never resurrect again. His energy is stored within your body and sealed because your current form isn't sufficient to absorb it."
Dave was left in awe by the revelation, but before he could react, numerous notifications flooded his mind.
He turned his attention to Aby, who wore a proud smile, and she continued to explain.
"All of your Primordial Sins have evolved to a higher level, becoming Absolute Primordial Sins. Each demon king holds one of these Absolute Sins, which can transform them into some of the most powerful beings. However, you possess all of them. If you reach their level, you can create your own demon lords who can serve you in various ways, and you now hold half of the authority of all the sins."
Dave was taken aback by the magnitude of this revelation, though he couldn't immediately discern the extent of these changes.
"Furthermore,"
Aby continued, "Some of your skills have evolved, such as your Ancient Eyes becoming God's Eyes."
"Although your laws have disappeared from your status, you can still sense and use them. The system absorbed all the laws you had acquired."
"Additionally, the more laws you comprehend or acquire, the more Chaos Energy you can unlock."
Dave found it challenging to process all this new information at once.
He inquired, "So, I need to absorb more laws or comprehend them to unlock special powers? Does that mean Chaos Energy is the highest form of all powers?"
Aby nodded in agreement and provided a further explanation, "Laws are merely an inferior form of the Absolute."
"Absolute is accessible to Celestial Immortals."
"Chaos Energy, on the other hand, is different. It can absorb any laws without limitations and transform into a higher power than the Absolute. You currently possess only 10 laws, so you haven't unlocked the full potential of Chaos Energy yet."
She continued, "Previously, the system required you to comprehend 10 laws because that was the minimum requirement for cultivating Chaos Energy. Not everyone can store and cultivate Chaos Energy, but your body is unique."
Dave was still processing this information when he decided to test his newfound power.
He commanded, "Release!"
Suddenly, a formidable and violent energy materialized before Dave's hands, carrying immense power.
He marveled at the increased strength but noticed that it consumed mana at a faster rate than before.
Furthermore, he realized that he could still access his previous laws, but they now operated under the umbrella of his Chaos Energy.
Dave engaged in a lengthy conversation with Aby, who seemed more expressive and personable than the system's previous iterations.

Instead, he needed to cultivate personally to advance his cultivation.

The Immortal Plane had suffered considerable damage from Azrael's intrusion, but Dave knew it would gradually heal over the next few days, alleviating his concerns about its stability.
