Chapter 382 -Fight

"So, there is someone as talented as the Ashura King in the Immortal Plane," remarked Dave.

"Interesting," responded the man, and Dave suddenly became angry.

"You like to pretend to be mysterious, huh? You even stole my line. Shit, I won't forgive you," Dave said.

The man in red was stunned by Dave's sudden anger, especially since he had only said 'interesting.'

Dave couldn't scan the blade because its level was high, and he felt that it was only a part of the complete blade.

Perhaps the sword had been broken into many pieces.

However, to disrupt and dismantle his time and space domain, the sword must be a valuable treasure.

Dave instantly appeared in front of the man and swung his sword, invoking the words.

<<Sword of Calmness>>

Even without stopping time, Dave could sense that everything was moving in slow motion.

He executed a powerful slash towards the man.

His movements appeared as slow motion to him, but others were unable to perceive his actions.

The man in red was left in a state of shock, as he had never before witnessed such an extraordinary and peculiar sword technique.

A deafening explosion followed.

The man was forcefully blasted, his body yielding to the might of Dave's sword.

In the wake of the attack, both of his hands were severed by the swift and precise strikes of Dave's blade.

His ears tumbled to the ground, and one of his legs was also severed by the same skilled hand.

"Fuck"

The man in red clothes was consumed by a sense of horror.

He recognized that if Dave were to employ a skill associated with time and space, his blade could easily slice through any defense due to the blade's incorporation of the laws of time and space.

Moreover, the man in red was stunned, as he had never before encountered such an extraordinary and bizarre sword technique in his entire existence.

Intrigued, he delved into an investigation of Dave.

His intuition suggested that his chances of successfully eliminating Dave were high, given that his blade stood as the direct opposition to Dave's own set of laws.

However, to his astonishment, he had not foreseen that Dave possessed a law of life that facilitated the healing of injuries inflicted by the blade.

Additionally, the sword technique displayed by Dave was not tethered to any specific set of laws.

It was as though the technique was linked to a supremely powerful entity that regarded the laws as mere playthings.

This enigmatic technique defied explanation, even though he himself had lived for a significant span of time.

His intent to regenerate was suddenly halted by the appearance of Dave above him, his black blade poised at the man's throat.

The realization that he could not regenerate his lost limbs filled him with horror.

"Game over," Dave declared, his tone dripping with finality.

"Hmph, I would have been toying with you for a longer time, but you stole my line and made me irritated," Dave continued, puffing out his cheeks. Yet, it was evident that he was merely toying with the man.

Dave sensed that this individual's cultivation exceeded that of a True Saint, but his powers were curbed by the will of the Immortal Plane.

Unable to scan the man's cultivation, Dave mused on the fact that since the Immortal Plane was his domain, escape was an impossibility.

Sweat coated the man's body, yet he mustered the courage to pose a question to Dave.

"Who are you truly? Has a demon king of pride dispatched you to stop me?"

"He never ceased suppressing our race, arghh," the man lamented.

Upon scanning Kasuya, he sensed an energy characteristic of only a demon lord and a demon king can cast.

This led him to conclude that Dave was similar to him, both employing a technique to suppress their powers and gain entry into the Immortal Plane.

This forbidden skill came at the cost of damaging their origins temporarily, necessitating years for a full recovery.

"Hehe, don't link me with those feeble beings. Since my youth, I've slain a demon king and even enslaved the God of Beauty, who graced my bed each night,"

Dave sighed, portraying a sense of isolation at the peak. However, the man in red dismissed his claims, recognizing them as mere boasts.

"As you've forced my hand, prepare to meet your end," the man declared, aware that unleashing his ultimate technique was his only chance of survival against Dave.

"Arghh," he roared.

Dave, needing information, refrained from swiftly ending his life.

Stepping back, Dave watched as the man's body ignited into flames, his killing intent escalating to a new level.

All his injuries and limbs mended, revealing a terrifying transformation. A 5-meter giant emerged, draped in crimson.

Golden eyes blazed, exuding overwhelming killing intent. It was the real form of the Ashura Race.

The transformation continued. The man's strength escalated through tiers of Saint Sovereign power: Low-tier, Mid-tier, Top-tier, and ultimately, Peak-tier.

"Roaar," Dave was taken aback, sensing his own killing intent paling before the man's heightened might.

"Hmmp, I'll permit your transformation; I'm not Eren," Dave stated.

He hadn't anticipated that the man would compel the release of his constraints.

Dave sensed that the man in red hadn't reached the limit of his real power but had instead attained his highest level of manifestation due to restrictions.

Thunderous roars echoed, a sound familiar to Dave.

"Oh, the Purple Lightning Tribulation," Dave recognized.

His thoughts drifted to the individual who had nearly slain him.

He understood the terror of this lightning, distinct from his own law of lightning.

It originated from the purple lightning tribulation, the most potent lightning source across the universe.

However, at present, such lightning wouldn't even scratch his skin.

It could be harnessed to absorb energy and fortify his law of lightning.

Dave intuited that the perfected stage wasn't the ultimate boundary, though his current cultivation barred a full understanding.

"Roaar, your demise approaches," the man in red sneered.

Dave smiled and countered, "No, it's your death by lightning."

The man sneered back. "Do you believe I'm unprepared?"

He retrieved and crushed a token.

Swish!

His entire form became enveloped in golden light, causing the lightning to abruptly halt, as if it couldn't locate its target.

"Hehe, now you'll meet your end," the man gloated. Dave hadn't anticipated this treasure.

"I suspect it has a certain time limit," Dave speculated, still unable to see the man's face due to the flames.

"So what? It's sufficient to kill you."

"Ashura's Fire Explosion," the man invoked, conjuring a drop of his blood that detonated before Dave.

Boom!

The explosion nearly razed the surroundings, yet Dave remained standing, shielded by the surrounding space.

"Tsk, such a crafty skill. I too possess blood magic; care to witness it?"

Dave tapped his chest where his heart resided. The man in red suddenly felt his heartbeat quicken.

Dug Dug! Dug Dug!

<Blood Burst>

Boom!

The man was suddenly shocked, coughing up blood as he realized his heart had exploded.

"What sort of skill is this?" he gasped in horror. Dave's array of powers confounded him, defying his understanding.

Dave's vampiric skills had grown more potent.

Any foe within a 100-meter radius would succumb when struck by this skill, their hearts exploding.

Their blood would be absorbed by Dave, who could then utilize the Blood Massacre or Blood Sanctuary.

These abilities allowed him to summon terrifying creatures, their strength dependent on the amount of blood he sacrificed.
