Chapter 283-Battle

"Heh, found you," Dave smiled as he looked at Renjel and his helper, whose real name was Warcane. Despite their superior strength, he felt no fear, knowing he could escape if things turned sour.

Renjel glanced at him with a smug smile and remarked arrogantly, "Hmph, you are weak."

He sensed that Dave's cultivation level wasn't high due to his special bloodline and wondered how he managed to conceal it. However, Renjel recognized that Dave's true power surpassed his own, evident in his defeat of Reiz.

Amused, Dave replied, "Well, I didn't expect demons to be living peacefully in this world." Renjel and Warcane's expressions changed, but they remained silent.

"A demon?"

Ryan, curious about Dave's comment, asked for an explanation, but Dave ignored him and focused on observing Renjel and Warcane as they communicated telepathically.

Although everyone outside could see them, their conversation remained unheard. After a minute, Renjel and Warcane decided to make their move.

Boom! Dave swiftly moved, grabbing Ryan by the neck and evading the attacks of Renjel and Warcane.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Fear filled Ryan's eyes as he struggled to speak, his throat constricted by Dave's grip. Recognizing Ryan as a distraction, Dave sealed him within his domain to keep him out of the way.

Swossh! Ryan's face reddened due to Dave's firm grip, but suddenly, he found himself in a dark place. Dave sent him a message to reassure him.

Renjel and Warcane were astonished as they realized Dave could match their relentless assault. Determined to gain control over him, they attempted to capture Dave and implant a device to silence him.

However, Dave's space magic and astonishing speed prevented them from getting hold of his clothes.

"Who are you?" Renjel questioned, halting his attack. Dave patted his shirt, removing dust, and replied, "A demon prince and a demon general, huh? What is your goal?"

Renjel's expression changed, and he suppressed his killing intent as he asked, "How do you know?"

Realizing that Dave had already discerned his identity as a demon, Renjel abandoned the pretense.

Dave smirked playfully and said, "Just a hunch." Renjel observed his arrogant demeanor and retorted, "Since you seem to know so much, then you will die."

Dave smiled fearlessly, unfazed by the fact that he faced two peak Imperial Kings, confident in the rewards he had obtained.

The Sword Heart Physique elevated his sword skills to a new level, instilling him with a greater sense of power. Feeling more formidable than ever, Dave wished to test his limits and decided to confront both Renjel and Warcane.

He could have easily exposed them to the emperor, but he chose not to, still uncertain of their true intentions.

Outside the arena, confusion spread among the spectators, unable to comprehend the ongoing conversation. They eagerly anticipated the battle's outcome.

The first prince, filled with fury upon his elimination, glanced at the screen, finding solace in Reiz's presence, albeit with a lingering bitterness.

Renjel produced a black orb, leaving Dave momentarily immobilized. Dave scanned the item and realized it was a shadow curse that rendered him motionless for five seconds.

Unable to move his body, Warcane appeared behind him, restraining him to prevent any escape attempts.

Renjel sneered, approaching Dave with clawed hands poised to pierce his heart. However, Dave maintained a calm composure, and Renjel soon discovered that he had pierced Warcane's body instead.

Utilizing his permeation ability, Dave had executed a clever trick. Though he couldn't move, his body's resilience and regenerative skills assured him that he wouldn't be easily defeated. Nonetheless, he remained cautious and focused on outsmarting his opponents.

As the five seconds elapsed, Dave evaded falling into Renjel's trap again. "Heh, a nice plan, but you're far from tricking me," he taunted. Renjel retracted his claws from Warcane's body, and the demon general rapidly healed from his injuries as if they had never occurred.

"You may have some tricks up your sleeve, but you will die today," Warcane declared, his eyes gleaming with determination. He prepared to employ his lethal Killing Style technique.

Dave felt a shiver of trepidation, sensing an impending attack from behind. Boom! He dodged, but Renjel seized the opportunity to strike as well. Renjel unleashed a scorching fire spell, its heat palpable.

"Space Swap!" Dave sneered, and Warcane sensed the spatial disturbance, causing their positions to switch. As a result, Warcane bore the full brunt of Renjel's attack.

Boom! "Arghh!" Warcane roared, sustaining severe injuries from Renjel's devastating assault, as the latter had exerted 80% of his power. Renjel grew increasingly infuriated by Dave's elusive nature, his space powers making him difficult to kill.

Though Warcane's wounds swiftly healed, his life force weakened. "Master, this cannot continue. We must eliminate him as soon as possible," Warcane advised urgently. Renjel nodded, recognizing the need to expedite their plans. He retrieved an eyeball, causing Dave's expression to change as he recognized the familiar skill.

"Shit!" Dave was caught off guard, intending to escape but realizing that the space was now locked. Outside, onlookers were disconnected from the battle, unable to witness the events unfolding.

"What's happening?" Everyone was stunned, realizing that something had gone awry. The emperor's face contorted in pain as he attempted to reconnect with his domain, only to find it forcefully severed. Coughing up blood, he suffered a backlash from the severed connection.

"Emperor!" His confidantes rushed to his side, offering assistance. Yudi's face mirrored concern as he understood that something dire must have befallen his young master.

Meanwhile, chaos reigned outside as Dave coughed up blood due to the sudden spatial disruption when he attempted to escape. Fortunately, the injury was minor, quickly healing.

Dave regarded Renjel and Warcane with a serious gaze, realizing he had forgotten about such treasures during his time in the mortal plane. This particular eye was not the actual Eye of the Demon Lord but an item crafted by a skilled space magic user, capable of interrupting space for ten minutes.
