56 Leaving Again
“What was that you did out there!?” Rong Yue asked as she flung his hands away from her.
She had known that this big bad wolf was dangerous but she didn’t expect him to be that reckless. After all, no one could imagine the thoughts that would be running through people’s mind at the moment by now.
“Relax, there’s nothing wrong with being my family’s little girl.” Qin Yichen said self righteously and then raised his hands and used it to pat her head gently.
His action seemed to only make her more dissatisfied as she shot him a threatening glare.
“With my family name and your name, what exactly do you want people to think by calling me your family’s little girl. Qin. Yi. Chen!” She called out angrily, even stamping her foot in the process and the young master looked at her one more time before striding forward and entering the car that was still parked ahead and waiting for him.
Her reaction was well deserving as she was right, back in the hall, a lot of people including Sun Li were stunned speechless.

They clearly had very different names right?
In fact, other than their attractive features, there was nothing that seemed to show that they were related in any way.

Usually, the last part of her words would have been enough to have many people stunned.

The party ended soon enough and the Sun family members all sighed in relief at the Rollercoaster of events that had happened this evening.
“To think that I still had some worries of if her intentions towards our Xiao Li was pure.” Sun Li’s mother, Zhao Yan said with a wry expression.
“It’s only normal to feel that way, after all that was our first time meeting her.” Her husband consoled and everyone else nodded in agreement.
As for Sun Yan, his brows remained tightly knitted as he felt like there was something he was missing from the scene before, yet, he couldn’t point it out.
“Let’s just leave it, if it’s something she can share, she will let Xiao Li know later on.” Sun Yan finally said and then turned to go back inside his room
Usually, anytime he was curious about someone, what he usually did was carry out an investigation. But for a girl he was interested in, he felt that it was better to get to know her instead of invading her privacy.
Back in the car, after all her anger, Rong Yue ended up dozing off, the exhaustion from moving around during the party and before the party finally settling in.
“Drive slower.” Qin Yichen ordered the driver as he helped her adjust so that she was resting on his shoulders instead.
The car traveled through the streets slowly and carefully and several of the other road users wondered if this person had nothing to get to for driving at such a speed.
When they got back, Rong Yue stirred the moment Qin Yichen carried her off the car in bridal style. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and then slept back immediately making the young man chuckle at how child like she looked when all her guards were down.
Although, Rong Yue called him the Big Bad Wolf, she had probably not realized that the young man had started to become a part of her life in a way that was more familiar than she admitted.
After all she had experienced in her past life, she was someone that couldn’t even sleep deeply enough to not hear if someone stepped into her room or if her phone vibrated in the slightest.
Yet, she had slept off with him beside her in a car she had never ridden in while also allowing him to carry her.
Qin Yichen entered the code the moment he got to the top floor. He didn’t let her know that he had access to every room code in this apartments since he wanted her to feel safe. But he was sure that in this moment, she wouldn’t think about how the door had been opened when she woke up the next morning.
“You came back together?” Rong Xia asked confused when Qin Yichen entered the house.
“Mmm, turned out that my friend is also her friend’s brother.” He explained without stopping as he took Rong Yue to her room.
“I’ll help her undress, you can leave..” Rong Xia said, arms folded as she stood by the doorway.
Qin Yichen nodded and then took one last glance at Rong Yue before leaving their house.

The next day was Sunday and Rong Yue woke up quite early since she had slept off early the day before.
Seeing herself in a familiar pyjamas had her squinting her brows as she tried to understand why exactly she was back home when she couldn’t remember nothing about walking back to the house.
“You are up.”
“Mmm, how did I get home last night?” She asked as she sat on one of the chairs in the kitchen.
“You don’t remember? You came home with the young man next door, Qin Yichen. He said something about you both attending the same party.”
At her words, all the memory from last night came back including her anger at the Big Bad Wolf for saying such auspicious things.
Just as the thought of going over to harsh it out with him crossed her mind, the door bell rang and she stood up hurriedly so she could get it before her mom.
“You are just the person I wanted to see.” Rong Yue muttered as she saw the familiar figure through the peephole and then opened the door for him.
“Yue’er” Qin Yichen called out warmly as he stepped into their house, the huge box in front of him was the first thing that Rong Yue saw making her furrow her brows in curiosity.
“What’s this?”
“I made breakfast for the three of us, since your mom was up late last night waiting for you, I figured I could take the stress of having to make breakfast off her back.” He explained and then strolled into the kitchen as if it was his place.
As she stood and watched him, Rong Yue frowned as the same thought crossed her mind.
“Young master Qin, you have to understand the boundary betw...” before she could complete her words, the aroma from the just opened food box filled the entire room and wafted towards her.
Rong Yue felt her words get stuck in her throat as she took in a deep breath, allowing the fragrance settle into her nostrils even more.
“I was just telling mother about how caring you are, she said you brought me up last night.” She said immediately changing her words.
Qin Yichen who had not missed the fact that she had the plans of scolding him just now gave her a knowing glance before he started with setting the table.
Seeing how her entire mood and aura changed at the expense of good food, even Rong Xia was impressed.
Clearly, she had given birth and reared a little glutton all these while without knowing.
“Mom, leave what you are doing and join us quick.” Rong Yue called heartily while flapping her arms for her mother to come forward.
Although she was using one hand to wave her mother over, her other hand was busily scooping food into her bowl as if she was afraid it would disappear.
Rong Xia dropped the cleaning rag and then washed her hands carefully before coming to sit at the table with them.
Since the both of them were already used to Rong Yue’s glutton ways, neither of them reacted oddly as they watched her take servings after servings of food and devoured them in minutes.
“Mmmm, are you sure you don’t want to open a restaurant? Phis is too food to be true.” She said after a while, her mouth muffled from trying to talk with her mouth food.
“Yue’er.” Her mother called out softly, feeling like she was being too unrestrained in front of Qin Yichen.
“I also wanted to tell you both that I have to go back to the capital again for some while, I’ll make a trip back to continue the work here as soon as matters are completed.” Qin Yichen finally said what was on his mind all morning.
The family was still chaotic and he had to go back to deal with some matters back in the capital.
Although he didn’t want to leave, he still had to after all and just hope that he would meet the little girl very soon.
“You are leaving?” Rong Yue asked, her voice melancholic from the various emotions she was feeling.
“Mmmm... you will miss me huh?” He asked, the both of them acting like Rong Xia was not there watching the interaction between the two of them.
