55 My Family’s Little Girl
Never would Rong Yue had imagined that Sun Li would be some computer geek like her. She had set up her small world here with close to three computers and other devices that it was hard not to know where her interest laid when it came to something like this.
“Why do you have to hide it?” She asked as she settled into the chair that was placed in the middle of it all.
“It’s unlady-like.” Sun Li muttered
Rong Yue nodded and didn’t say anything more, however, her mind was filled with so many thoughts. When she had met her family earlier, they didn’t seem like the type to take their child away from something she wanted.
However, she had only met them once and didn’t dare to conclude.
On the other hand, she also felt that while having a passion was good, neglecting school was still wrong as a degree would help people move through so many doors in their career path.
All these however, were thoughts she didn’t express, deciding she could slowly help her friend while not sending her back into her shell.

Even Sun Yan was stunned. After all, even though they had sent an invitation because they heard he was in their state, they didn’t have any high hopes of him really coming considering the track record he had with parties and events like that.
“Sun Yan, go and welcome him with your brothers.” His father, general Sun said hurriedly his eyes glistening with what looked like tears in them.
After all the years they had spent in the military in their family, he hadn’t expected that it would be his son that would take their family name to the height that it was now.

From first look, he could even dare to say that he deserved the position. Although he had an aura that was more subtle than that of his second brother, it was still very impressive.
As soon as he stepped into the hall, the hall became dead quiet.

“We weren’t expecting you to come.” Sun Yan said finally, attempting to start a conversation with him. After all, many people had tried to come close already just so they could hear him speak.
“Hmmm, I had some free time on my hand and decided to stop by.” Qin Yichen replied perfunctorily while he looked around.
“Also, I came to pick someone up.” He added like it was an afterthought.
The people around him, felt they must have misheard him and dismissed it. After all, who in this celebration party was worth being up by the second young master?
To anyone, they would think he was looking around carelessly and just assessing things without knowing that the young master was simply looking for a certain girl that had told him she was coming here.
After a while, he noticed that there didn’t seem to be any girl around the Sun family also and he asked with subtle interest.
“I heard that the Sun family younger generation were four, I seem to only see three.” He pointed out allowing general Sun to notice that his precious daughter wasn’t there.
“There’s one more, my last daughter. She doesn’t enjoy gatherings like this and must have gone inside.” General Sun explained hurriedly while Sun Kai hurriedly his phone to call her.

Since computers were something that Rong Yue was also very interested in, the both of them talked for so long that they lost track of time until Sun Li received a call from her second brother.
“Yue’er, my brother said we should return to the party.” She said softly unwilling to have this time they were sharing end.
“Hmmm, I also lost track of time. We can always talk but this is a special event for your brother also. We shouldn’t have been gone for long.” As she spoke, she checked her watch and her brows furrowed slightly.
It was getting late already, however, she couldn’t leave immediately they got downstairs to avoid looking impolite.
The both of them went back downstairs and they were surprised to see a large crowd gathering around a particular side of the hall, making their entrance unnoticeable.
Just when Rong Yue thought they could slide back inside the hall without anyone noticing, a certain devil that she hadn’t expected she would see here turned his head backwards and locked gazes with her.
“So terrifying..” Sun Li muttered as she glanced at Rong Yue only to see her stunned expression.
“Yue’er, do you like men that are dangerous like this?” She asked worriedly. As a girl, she had after all noticed that the way her brother acted towards her friend was different earlier in the evening but she had hoped that they didn’t rush things out.
Rong Yue hurriedly shook her head sideways.
No! How could she like the devil.
Since everyone’s gaze was on Qin Yichen, they had immediately noticed when he turned. Seeing that it was the two beauties that entered, Sun Fan hurriedly stood up.
“Xiao Li, come here and greet second young master Qin.” Sun Fan said and hurriedly dragged her towards Qin Yichen.
“Hello, Second Young Master Qin.” Sun Li greeted politely but then frowned when she saw that the person she was greeting wasn’t even looking at her.
“You are here?” Qin Yichen asked in fake pretense as he looked at Rong Yue that had slowly reached the edge of the crowd.
Everyone automatically followed his gaze and looked in the direction he was looking while also clearing the path so that everyone could look at Rong Yue.
The center of the attention however, felt like cursing the devil that was staring at her with feigned surprise.
She nodded her head and then looked away, hoping that it would be enough to shut him up.
Everyone was looking between the both of them while wondering what their relationship was.
Didn’t the Fang daughters just say that she was their maid daughter? How did such a person know and even gain the recognition of the Qin family master from the capital?
“You know her?” Sun Yan asked the question that was on everyone’s mind. The more he looked at how Qin Yichen was looking at Rong Yue, the more uneasy he felt.
“Hmmm, she’s my family little Xiao Yue and I came here to pick her up.” As he said this, he stood up from the top seat that had been given to him and ent to meet Rong Yue where she was.
“No matter what, you are still underage. How can you stay this late outside and expect us not to worry.” Qin Yichen chided, his face sporting a scolding expression.
Not only was everyone surprised, they also believed his act very quickly with how well he was acting.
“General Sun, Young master Sun Yan, thank you for having me, I’ll be taking Yue’er home now.” He said politely and then lowered slightly to grab Rong Yue’s hand and led her out of the hall.
