52 Dazzling!

Rong Yue turned as she felt some intense gaze on her, tracing the gaze, her eyes fell on two familiar figures and a trace of dangerous light flashed in her eyes.

While she was younger, her mother had worked as a maid in the Fang family.

For their twelve years, she had endured the bullying that came from these girls.

The elder daughter, Fang Mian had even scratched her face once with the intention to ruin it and if her mother had no skills in herbal medicine, she would have had to move around with a face like that.

She would not have expected that she would meet them here, but the more she thought about, the more plausible it felt, after all, their family was also quite influential.

As for the younger sister, Fang Yong, she usually after like she was someone that meant no evil and could do no evil. But in reality, she was even more cruel than her sister and would only play her white lotus role when there were people.

Rong Yue acted like she didn’t see them but also kept her vigilance up, after all, she knew that they were always up to no good.

“Hehe, I said it sister! Why is our maid’s daughter all dolled up here and sitting so high up?” Fang Mian had seen the moment Rong Yue looked over and was even more certain that she was the one.

“Are you sure, you are probably seeing it wrongly, that girl is so pretty after all.” Fang Yong said softly, her eyes however flashed with hatred.

.....

More than anyone, she was the one that recognized Rong Yue the most. That face!

The face she hated the most.

More importantly, the Rong Yue now had an aura that even her wasn’t sure she could dare to compete.

As a child that had been pampered to the heavens, only she knew how painful it was to see Rong Yue with a face blessed by the heavens even when she had no skin products or any good thing to wear.

She had incited her sister many times to destroy that face. Yet, on many occasions, the girl managed to escape. The one they had finally achieved it, her mother had saved her face in the end.

After then, mother and daughter had left their home, subsequently, she had forgotten the both of them. Also, she had been certain that the older Rong Yue grew, the less attractive she would be with no money and resources.

Yet, the reality in front of her, four years later was so glaring from her imaginations.

So glaring that she wanted to slap herself.

While the two sisters were lost in their thoughts, the banquets proceeded normally and soon Sun Yan was allowed to go and sit after getting all his gifts.

After all the gifts were presented, everyone, especially the young ones started to move around instead of just sitting down and the older ones sat closer and discussed more serious matters.

“Let me introduce you to my brothers before I take you inside, I don’t enjoy staying banquets like this.” She said with wrinkled brows.

Rong Yue nodded, she had nothing to do and just came because she wanted to accompany her.

“First brother.” Sun Li called out cheerfully as they walked towards Sun Yan. Although it was her first brother she called, the other two that were sitting close to him turned also to look at their sister as they heard her voice.

From that single action, everyone could immediately see what place she held in their hearts.

As the three brothers turned, each and everyone of them was stunned upon seeing Rong Yue that was slightly behind them.

Since they had entered after Rong Yue and were standing with their backs to her, they hadn’t gotten the chance to see her.

“Where did our sister find this goddess?” The third brother, Sun Fan asked playfully.

Although he was the most playful of the three of them, their family knew that he was the one that was the most aloof beyond all that surface playfulness.

“You all are here?” Sun Li said as she hooked her hands around Rong Yue.

“This is my friend from school, I invited her out for some fun.”

“Yue’er, these are my three brothers. The one that just became a general is the first one, Sun Yan, my second brother, Sun Kai and my third brother, Sun Fan.”

“Hello, congratulations. I’m Rong Yue and I got you a small gift to congratulate your new position.” As Rong Yue said this, she passed him a small box.

Earlier, she had gotten an expensive engraved pen for him while she was shopping after all, it would be rude to come empty handed.

“T..thanks.” Sun Yan said with a little stutter.

Perhaps because he had spent a lot of time in the military, Sun Yan, the man that was as valiant as a lion on the battlefield and insanely intelligent when it came to discussing strategies was a bit awkward around women but since he didn’t have to interact with them, he didn’t pay attention to it.

Yet, this girl in front of him gave him a certain urge to want to know her, to be her friend or maybe even more...

Rong Yue nodded politely and then greeted the other two brothers.

Seeing his brother’s reaction to Rong Yue, Sun Fan immediately acted on it.

“Our sister had said so much about you these past few days in school. Has she been behaving well?” He asked to continue the conversation.

Sun Li winked at Rong Yue, after all, she had promised her brothers that she would study well. On the other hand, Rong Yue felt this was an opportunity to finally help the girl.

Usually, she would not be so blunt, but this was their final year and even if she didn’t have interest in the academic path, even good grades were required in standard schools for creatives.

“Xiao Li is usually well behaved, I don’t stay in school a lot for personal reasons so I only got to know her. But I also noticed that she seems to lack the motivation to study. If perhaps, any of you know something that can motivate her well enough, it would help with her final grades.” She said surprising the two other brothers who were more in the know of how the girls behaved around here.

They had expected that she would sing high praises out of fear to offend Sun Li.

Being exposed, Sun Li flushed in embarrassment and instead of getting angry, she rushed to her first brother who had no idea that she was doing poorly in school and grabbed his hand.

“Brother, Yue’er has been the best student since first year, she doesn’t understand the difficulty of studying, you can’t listen to only her.” She whined softly, losing every trace of the cold heiress.

Sun Yan, however turned to look at Rong Yue.

“Is that so?”
