40 Shameless!

Out of excitement, neither of the two were able to read the mood properly and she hurriedly nodded.

“Yes master, I did them a while back..” she responded even calling him like he was her master already.

“Humph! Then you don’t need me as your master anymore.” He declared with a snort. With his words, the mother was able to quickly see that something was wrong.

“Master Wang, she has no master guiding her and is just very talented. If you can accept her, I’m sure there would still be more to learn from you.” Her mother added hurriedly.

On the other hand, Rong Yue and Wang Lei had finished checking out most of the paintings and were even thinking of taking a break after all, they have been standing for a while.

But Master Wang’s voice traveled to their ears making them look around until they figured he was the one being surrounded by a crowd.

“Let’s go there and make sure Grandfather is fine.” Wang Lei told her and Rong Yue nodded in agreement and like that, the both of them made their way over.

Upon getting there, Rong Yue’s eyes flashed as she saw the painting and the mother and daughter pair around her master.

On that night when she did her first painting, she had no intention of seeking for fame on this path. The most important thing had been making a good amount of her money do that her mother wouldn’t have to suffers

.....

Yet, she had also deliberately stuck to her previous pen name in the past life. If she hadn’t, Tong Yang would have been able to shine for a while before the truth would come out.

“You dare call other people’s works yours?” master Wang Shu accused, eyes glaring daggers at her.

Hearing his words, Tong Yang instantly paled, after all, it was her greatest fear, yet, she hadn’t expected that he would be found out.

A part of her also felt like the master probably didn’t believe she was this skilled and was just trying to call her that to make her panic as a test and so she braced up.

“Although it’s a work from my peak inspiration, this is still my work, master.”

“Okay then, let me see the others.” He demanded and allowed her open them.

Since he hadn’t seen Rong Yue ever paint, he would have been doubtful of his student. But there was something about painting and the artist.

You would always see a shadow of their work in them which was exactly what he saw when he looked at Rong Yue. It was also seen from the perspective that she studied painting that her mind had no boundaries at all.

So with all these thoughts, he was very certain that she was the owner of her works. More importantly, if this girl here truly owned the works, then she wouldn’t have picked these ones when Rong Yue brought those really perfect works.

Without delay, Tong Yang showed him all the paintings she had and some of the people around that were really observant noticed something very quickly.

“Didn’t she say the previous work was at the peak of her inspiration? The works have the same expertise.” Someone mumbled mindlessly while still admiring the painting.

“If you are really the artist that owns this work, then you don’t need me this old man as your teacher, there’s not much I can teach you.” Master Wang decided to help them save face at the end and declined her politely. Yet the mother was determined.

Furthermore, master Wang’s words confused her making her think that her daughter was too good.

“Even if you aren’t the best master for her, she’s heart set on you for now, if you can give her more guidance till she’s polished, then she can find a more suitable master later on.” Tong Yang’s mother said tactlessly.

The faces of most of the people there immediately changed after hearing her words while some hurriedly looked at Master Wang’s face and the painting again.

Some highly smart people just sniggered at the deluded woman. Surely, she didn’t think anyone would accept her daughter with such a speech right.

“Humph! I give you the easy path but you have decided to take the hard path.” He scoffed.

Coincidentally, he had just finished looking at Rong Yue’s work and was planning to come and meet her when he was stopped by this annoying people.

“If you have works like the one behind me, of course you can’t need me right?” He asked pointing to the work behind him.

At that moment, about 90% of them in the room had already seen about two of Yue’s works and all of them had been curious about the artist, after all, the style was unique and great.

Upon seeing the work, Tong Yang paled. More than that, she felt like shock was passing through her body. The work was perfect!

It was good to be imagined that it was done by a student or someone like her.

Even if she wanted to claim she was the one, that kind of starting point would only harm her after all, if she was asked to paint, she couldn’t replicate 10% of that skill.

People hurriedly looked at the painting pen name and the one on her hand and realized that it was the same.

Even if the painting styles already had it’s differences. The moment you looked at both of them, you could see some elements of the same source from them.

More importantly, the signing at the bottom right corner of the paintings were the same.

“I saw that this Yue had close to four really good work in the auction. They were also placed in the auction’s prime place. Surely, the Art organization is trying to push this person.

It’s impossible that she’s here asking to be someone’s student.” Someone analyzed and this made people understand master Wang’s words better now.

Hearing the comments around her, Tong Yang felt like she was about to faint even more.

How was the pen name the same with Rong Yue’s work?

Could this be done by Yue’er?

At that thought she shook her head rapidly, the emotional and mental blow too hard for her to take.

Then she remembered Rong Yue saying something like she wanted to give the work to the owner previously.

Was she really not the owner too?
