35 Wonderful Surprise Waiting
“Do you not want to win?” Sun Li voice interrupted her reading as the girl looked at her new friend with a frown.
“I don’t need it, if I win it, it’s just going to be some trophy to have my mom keep looking at. But if she needs it that badly, then let her have it.” Rong Yue said with a nonchalant and Wu Hao came in at that moment. The both of them already knew she liked to come here every break now.
“You are letting her off easily, I have a feeling that after that sleep over she’s planning at Oxar hotel, she would win a lot of people over.” Wu Hao analysed and then dropped his book beside Rong Yue as he prepared to start studying.
Sun Li on the other hand really had no interest in reading and was unwilling to even join them.
“Humph! You are making it so easy for her.” She said and then leaned back on her seat. Since the person they wanted to support had no interest, there was no way they would just start acting out.
“Don’t worry, if she acts beyond her boundaries, I would make it that she tops the least in the whole group nominated.” Rong Yue promised.
By her timeline, she knew that the time when Tong Yang would visit her Master Wang was close which would also be why she dared to plan that sleep over.
If she became his student, and then told the people at the sleep over, it would be enough to propel her into the highest position.
Rong Yue however had made plans to get her paintings from her today, if she doesn’t, she would simply inform her master ahead and have him embarrass the girl.

As soon as she heard her words, Tong Yang froze. She had imagined that she had forgotten about those paintings. After all, it had been a while.
“Errr, I won’t be going home directly, how about I give them to you some other day?” She had already made plans with her parents to visit the master in two days time. She was planning to take the best of Rong Yue’s paintings with her and say it was the peak of her current inspiration.
If she was able to become his student, she would only have to learn for some time to be able to do the same.

“No problem, I don’t have to go with you, I’ll just go to your home and you can call your butler to arrange for me to go and pick it up.”

Classes went by quickly and Tong Yang shared the invitation to the large night out sleep over she had planned.
One had to admit that her family had really gone over the top, after all, Oxar hotel was the biggest in their city, to book the open space that had been designed to look like one was outside when they were actually indoors for their daughter showed how important this was to them.
“Yue’er, my family would be holding a banquet in two days time to welcome my brother who has just become the youngest general in our province and the second youngest in the whole of the country. There would be so many men and officials that it would be so boring going alone.” She said with a whine.
She was happy for her brother but having to wear a gown and have to socialize all evening? The lazy bum wanted no part of that.
“My family is also coming, I can keep you company if Rong Yue is busy.” Wu Hao offered while Sun Li shot him a glare. There was no difference in him coming. Firstly, it would be wrong if they sticked together all evening after all, it would make other families think that some alliance would happen between them but Yue’er was a safe option.
“Pleaseeeee.” She turned to Rong Yue and begged while making her original thuggish aura become like a puppy that wanted to be carried.
The other two people were shocked out of their wits.
Was this their same friend?
The usually boisterous and even ruffian girl was now giving Rong Yue puppy eyes.
“You have to save me! Ask Wu Hao, gatherings like that are usually so terrible! They gave me wanting to go to heaven immediately.” She whined and then grabbed Rong Yue’s hand in a tight grip
Rong Yue looked at the totally transformed girl in front of her and sighed.
She had other plans for that night too but she also really liked Sun Li. She didn’t trust anyone but for someone that had treated her well....
“I would come, but I can’t promise to stay all evening.” It was the same night of the sleepover and she had to be on the watch.
After all, she had a wonderful surprise waiting for Tong Yang.
