34 If she wants it that desperately
While the young man nodded and followed his wife out, he had other thoughts, all of what had transpired was communicated to a certain man in the capital.
“Don’t worry, anyhow she deals with anyone, settle it.” Qin Yichen told the house manager who reported the matter to him.
Just because of the mother and daughter, the house which ought to have gotten a grand launching, had been left alone.
In his words, “only those that won’t make her eyes sullied can live here.” The manager was struggling every day to find people that could actually live here.

Rong Yue came out all sweaty after spending some hours in the gym, since her phone had been on silent the whole time, she was surprised when she saw several missed calls from a certain unknown number.
Although she hesitated, she called back immediately.
“You finally know to call back.” A cool and low voice sounded from the other hand. Rong Yue was slightly startled hearing that familiar voice.
“How do you have my number?” She asked curiously, it was almost as if when it came to him, her thinking was usually a lot slower.

“I used your number to make so many calls and even have a contract with you. Do you really think I still have to look for it again?” Qin Yichen replied with mirth in his voice while his eyes had a look of doting look on the other end of the call.
“Hmmm, you are calling so soon, is anything the matter.” She asked as she opened the bottle of water she had picked in the gym and drank the remaining water in it.
To avoid the scene from earlier, she took the elevator simply.
“I was missing you.” Four words, a very monotone voice and yet Rong Yue went into a fits of cough as her eyes bulged open.
If she didn’t have that voice ingrained in her mind alresdy, she would have assumed that he was a different person.
Yet the words were entirely different from the man she had or the image of him she had in her head.
Seeing her reaction, Qin Yichen chuckled, however, his eyes turned slightly serious.
“I wanted to tell you that you could use the study, I have some computers there for your assignments, I remember you didn’t have one before I left....”
The more he talked, the more she felt like she didn’t know this man that was talking. He wasn’t arrogant when they met but at the very least, he was someone that didn’t seem to care about anything.
Why did he suddenly turn to some long winded mother with a traveling child. However, she responded accordingly to all he said and even thanked him.
“I’ll be there soon okay? I also have some matters to solve in your city.” Qin Yichen said trying to test the waters.
“My city?” Rong Yue could feel it that something was very wrong, yet, she couldn’t decide what it was making her keep quiet.
The both of them talked for a while with Qin Yichen saying more words while Rong Yue responded so he could know she was listening.
Eventually, she found some flimsy excuse to end the call and then entered her house.

Just like that, Rong Yue maintained a routine of going to school, coming back to work out and then doing remote jobs.
To normal people, the jobs that they needed about a month to do, she was able to finish it in a month and had a income of close to $400,000 every day, it was huge and she even made sure to avoid working for the same set of people everyday.
In the last three days, she had made a total of about one million dollars already and decided to take a rest today after school.
Other than work, the last three days had been quite interesting. A lot of people had kick started voting immediately.
For the school belle, the only category she was in, Rong Yue was currently topping the charts, since the charts were only going to be open for just one more day after this, after which any other voting would be considered incognito.
It was hard to pretend that they were still friends at this point as Tong Yang took campaigning into full mode.
Every single day, she was actively bringing gifts to schools and even organized an event for the students.
“Yue’er, you don’t mind that I didn’t invite you right? Since we are competing against each other, the school might find it disrespectful of the award if the both of us are liaising together.” Tong Yang said softly as soon as the first period classes ended.
“Hmmm, it’s okay, I also want you to win so I totally understand.” She said with a smile, before allowing her to say anything else, she picked up her bag and left the class.
Since it was a big award like that, all other classes could vote too and so for the Junior ones who didn’t really know much, they were happy to give their vote to Tong Yang, however, the reason why Rong Yue was topping the charts was because of her face. Even without makeup and a simple selfie, her beauty shone through and for some of the junior boys that had seen her once or twice, they actively campaigned for her to be the winner playfully.
But with that still happening, Tong Yang was getting closer to the number of votes that Rong Yue had and some people even predicted that after her outing, she would probably have more votes than Rong Yue.
The person in question seemed to have no problem as she went about her normal life.
Now that she knew that she was going to rest at home or either work, Rong Yue used her break in school to study in the library.
Considering that her mental strength had developed past this level and it was also something she had studied before, most of what she did was revising through it to remind herself.
So while that short time might be insufficient for other people, it was more than enough for her.
