Chapter Twenty Two: The ancient saying ‘looks good enough to eat’ really is pretty accurate.

Cheng YuTang remembered that this little thing had forgotten what happened on Christmas Eve last year and he couldn’t help but feel a little regretful, but it would be no fun to say it right out. It would be the same to let him have a good, complete experience of it later.

Mindful of this, Cheng YuTang suddenly felt a little hot, so he lifted his hands and unfastened two of his shirt buttons, and then threw out the bait, “It’s boring to cook alone. If you help me, you’ll have to work overtime. The overtime rate is twice as much as the normal salary, so how about it?”

Hearing this, Ji XiaoYu immediately thought nothing more of it, instantly saying, “Okay!”

I knew that’s the way it was. Cheng YuTang hummed and smiled a bit, entering the kitchen. “Well? Come on.”

“Coming, coming!” Ji XiaoYu immediately took off his shoes and grabbed a pair of slippers from the shoe cabinet to put them on. He ran with a pitter-patter into the kitchen.

Cheng YuTang glanced over and saw a hole in the sock of his right foot. From inside, the white, bare flesh of his big toe was playfully poking its head out. A sour feeling rushed through his heart, how on earth does this little thing live? How can you make yourself so shabby?

He asked, seemingly unintentionally, “What do you usually do besides going to work?”

Ji XiaoYu was still admiring the spacious kitchen and looking at the amazing view of the various expensive kitchen utensils, thinking if Boss Li saw these things, he was afraid that he’d be so excited he’d fall over. He replied casually, “Watching TV, sleeping, incubating……”

“Ah? Incubating?” Cheng YuTang Zheng, rolling up his sleeves, was listening and caught the hint of a topic.

Ji XiaoYu realized that he had almost spilled his secret. Wanting to give himself a slap in the face, he quickly lied, “Incubating An Egg is an online game. It’s pretty fun. When I’m free, I play it for a while.”

“Is it? Then when will you teach me how to play?” In addition to work, Cheng YuTang would exercise daily, so he had no interest in games. He had also never heard of this game. So he was just trying to tease Ji XiaoYu.

Ji XiaoYu replied in a vague way, “Well, I’ll wait until you have time free.”

He thought to himself in his heart what he would have replied to mess with him, the president is a man of great importance, even working overtime at the company on the weekends, there certainly can’t be any time to play games.

“What do you want to eat?” Cheng YuTang opened the refrigerator, which was neatly packed with a lot of fruits, vegetables, and meat. These were all the fresh ingredients bought by the auntie every morning.

“Doesn’t matter.”

The president was personally cooking, so how could Ji XiaoYu, as a little security guard, order him? He would eat whatever Cheng YuTang made.

Cheng YuTang had no words. ‘Doesn’t matter’ again; he was the most annoyed with these two words right now!

Watching Cheng YuTang take a plucked chicken from the fridge, Ji XiaoYu suddenly felt a little bad. He trembled and pleaded, “Cheng Zong, can we not eat chicken? I-I’m allergic to chicken.”

“……..” Cheng YuTang sucked in his cheeks and put the chicken back. His eyes swept over a carton of turkey eggs, I could make tomato scrambled eggs……

“Eggs are no good!!” Ji XiaoYu immediately blurted out.

Cheng YuTang was both angry and amused. Just now he had said ‘doesn’t matter’ so casually but now in the moment he was picky, this little thing was really difficult to serve. “This is the best time to make anything else you don’t eat clear, to keep from wasting time.”

Ji Xiao Yu shrunk his neck and said weakly, “Besides anything chicken-related, everything else is fine, really.”

“Alright.” Cheng YuTang flipped through the fridge, taking out a few servings of meat and putting them on the kitchen counter. He took out some vegetables and then handled them skillfully and neatly.

Ji XiaoYu was stunned as he watched. No way, this was almost surpassing Boss Li. Cheng Zong isn’t working part-time as a cook after working at HongSheng, right?

“What is this fool doing here? Still not helping.”

“Yes, Cheng Zong!”

He said it was to help, but Ji XiaoYu wasn’t good at cutting vegetables and he was afraid to get near the fire of the stove, so he could only hide behind Cheng YuTang and hold a bowl or get a spoon or something. From time to time, he got in his way, putting Cheng YuTang off-kilter and, a couple times, almost causing him to make a mistake.

Let it be, don’t worry about this little thing, just feed the guy first and wait…….heh heh. He would pay him back double later on.

An hour later, four dishes and a soup were prepared. The dining room’s solid wood table with flower carvings was set with the hot dishes, which were braised pork ribs, fried whitefish, stir-fried asparagus, oyster sauce over artichoke hearts, and fresh mushroom meatball soup. The presentation was pretty good. If Ji XiaoYu hadn’t watched Cheng YuTang serve them one by one from the pots, he would have definitely thought that he called for delivery.

Ji XiaoYu sniffed up the fragrant scents and saliva drooled from one corner of his mouth. He was filled with a sense of accomplishment. Although these dishes weren’t made by him, he also participated in the whole process at the risk of catching on fire and burning himself, so even if he hadn’t contributed, he had still worked hard!

After he tasted each dish, he was even more shocked. Oh papa, it’s so de! li! cious! Compared with Boss Li’s craftsmanship, it’s much better!

Ji XiaoYu couldn’t cook, but he could eat. Boss Li had fried his vegetables with oil and also had put in more of all kinds of spices. It was really nice to eat at first, but it would be a little greasy and tiring if eaten too much. The dishes made by Cheng YuTang were relatively light, with only a little seasoning added. He paid more attention to highlighting the delicious flavor of the ingredients themselves. They may feel light when they first entering the mouth, but if they were chewed a few times, they would be fragrant, with a good aftertaste.

As he gorged himself, he praised Cheng YuTang sincerely, “Cheng Zong, you’re so good at cooking! If you stopped running a company and switched to opening the restaurant, the business would be very popular!”

Whoever married Cheng Zong could eat this big meal every day and would be happy to death!

“I’m not interested in opening a restaurant.” Cheng YuTang’s lips were curved up slightly and his tone was flirtatious, “Besides, there aren’t many people in this world who deserve my personal cooking.”

He took a few bites with his chopsticks casually, glancing across at Ji XiaoYu, who was eating with relish. He watched as those pink lips, bright and shiny from the oil, opened and closed, and he couldn’t help but gulp hard, swallowing down his mouthful of saliva.

The ancient saying ‘looks good enough to eat’ really is pretty accurate.

His line of sight shifted upward slightly and Cheng YuTang found a problem. Strangely, that swollen lump from when Ji XiaoYu’s head hit the windshield was completely gone; his forehead was smooth and exquisite, as if nothing had ever happened.

This little thing said that he’s in good physical condition and that he recovered quickly whenever he hit his head, it seems he really wasn’t making it up.

Does this mean that, even if my own actions were a bit more intense, this little thing could handle that too?

When Ji XiaoYu heard this, he was suddenly flattered and his little heart fluttered, what does that mean? Wasn’t he the one eating the meal that Cheng YuTang made right now? Was he one of the people who deserved to the president’s personal cooking?

No, no, no, a person must be self-aware, a spiritual beast can’t not know the immensity of heaven and earth. He was just a little security guard, how could he get into the eyes of the president? Cheng YuTang must have had a whim to cook today and just happened to coincide with him being in his home, so he let him eat the meal since he was here.

Even so, Ji XiaoYu was still pretty excited. Thinking of the many employees at HongSheng Building, how many of them could get the same treatment as him tonight? If he went back and said so, he would cause the whole crowd to be envious to death.

The more he thought about it, the happier he was. The happier he was, the more food he stuffed into his mouth. Ah, tastes good!

“Eat slowly, no one’s stealing it from you.”

Cheng YuTang temporarily pulled back from his filthy fantasy, getting up and taking a bottle of red wine from the wine cabinet. Bringing two glasses over, he pulled the cork and filled each halfway. Putting one of the glasses in front of Ji XiaoYu, he said quietly, “It’s not a feast without wine, how about a taste of this?”

Ji XiaoYu looked at the rosy liquid in the crystal-clear glass. He felt a little greedy but also an unfamiliar sort of tension. Why so grand, like something wonderful is about to happen…….

Cheng YuTang took up his own glass of wine, hooking up the side of his lips slightly, and smiled charmingly. His ordinarily smooth voice was tinged with an irresistible, low magnetism, “Cheers for this beautiful evening.”

Ji XiaoYu was instantly bewitched, his head spinning a bit even without taking a drink, and he raised the glass of wine, saying, “Cheers!”

Then he arched his neck and, very bravely, gulped down half the glass of wine, while on the other side, Cheng YuTang took only a shallow sip.

“I didn’t imagine it, but you drink so well.” Cheng YuTang laughed lowly.

“Heh heh, is that so?” Ji XiaoYu stretched out the tip of his tongue and licked over his lips. His originally pale pink lips had become bright and lustrous from the stain of the red wine. “This wine’s very good.”

He had drank beer, cheap liquor mixed with water, and low-grade wine, so he had thought drinks on average had that taste. This was the first time he had had such a mellow, delicious red wine. When Cheng YuTang flattered him, he instantly got a little dizzy and his body felt lighter all over.

Cheng YuTang, with a dark, meaningful look in his eyes, lifted his hand and poured Ji XiaoYu another half a cup. His voice was low and deep, “Well, drink a little more if you want.”

Ji XiaoYu was already a bit disoriented, so he was persuaded and couldn’t help but swallow down the half a glass. Soon he couldn’t see Cheng YuTang clearly. With red cheeks, he looked at him with confused eyes and giggled, “Cheng Zong, when did y-you grow two noses? Hahaha, what kind of spiritual beast are you? Or are you an evil spirit?”

While speaking, he also reached out impudently and pulled Cheng YuTang’s nose.

Fuck, what evil spirits? You’re the little evil spirit!

Cheng YuTang saw in him again showing the fresh and unrestrained mood of last year’s Christmas Eve. He was instantly filled with heat and he couldn’t bear it anymore. He got up and went over, pulling Ji XiaoYu up by his outstretched hand.

Ji XiaoYu stood unsteadily, plunging headlong into Cheng YuTang’s arms.

Cheng YuTang put his arms around him and fell to the couch next to him. He pulled out the hem of his uniform shirt held under his belt, and then his large hand was under the shirt, sliding down his smooth, delicate back, over the length of the perfect curve and then rubbing back and forth across his slender waist.

The little thing looked so tempting in uniform, so he didn’t want to strip it off at first, it would be good to do it like this once…….

Ji XiaoYu trembled all over, as if he were being electrified. Half his body was numb and murmurs spilled from his mouth uncontrollably. Without realizing, he ground against Cheng YuTang, instinctively wanting more.

Hearing those sounds, Cheng YuTang almost burst on the spot. After scolding himself with a curse, he embraced the person in his arms tightly. He hesitated over just putting this little thing on the ground in the hall or taking him to the big bed in the bedroom to have a better time. The wall clock on the wall suddenly rang with a “bong” and, in the empty living room, the noise resounded in their ears.

The string that had been stretched tight in Ji XiaoYu’s mind over the past few months suddenly trembled. He instantly woke up from his drunken haze, looking up at the wall clock that read 10pm sharp.

Hey, how is it so late? The little white egg at home won’t understand what’s going on!

Realizing that Cheng YuTang were pressing down on his body, Ji XiaoYu quickly reached out to push him, “Cheng Zong, it’s late, I should go back.”

Cheng YuTang was only happy to refuse. The thing below his waist was already stiff, so he ground down against Ji XiaoYu’s lower abdomen and whispered, “It’s okay, you perform well tonight and Cheng Zong will let you go back tomorrow.”

As a male, Ji XiaoYu naturally knew what that thing was and he was stunned for a moment, what’s going on? President Cheng, what’s that for?

Cheng YuTang felt the tension of the body in his arms and his large palm continued down to the rounded mound that filled his hand with a good elastic feeling. He rubbed lightly a few times and said hoarsely, “Lovely, don’t be so nervous, just relax.”

Suddenly, Ji XiaoYu remembered the unbearable experience at the XinHao Hotel last year. All his feathers immediately puffed out, relax yourself, you big-headed demon!

Yes, you, surnamed Cheng, you tricked me into staying for dinner with your clever words and you kept persuading me to drink. It turns out you were just trying to get at this little master’s ass, but no way!

Anger burst from his heart and he lost his temper without thinking. Ji XiaoYu lifted his leg and kicked, throwing Cheng YuTang straight off the couch.

The power this time wasn’t light, much stronger than palm blow last time in the office. Cheng YuTang broke out in a cold sweat from the pain, curling up on the floor and hugging his stomach, unable to move.

Ji XiaoYu sorted out his messy clothes and tightened his belt again. He turned his head and saw Cheng YuTang curled up on the ground with a pale face. He looked like he was in a lot of pain. Inexplicably feeling a little heartache and regret, he hurriedly crouched down and asked, “Cheng Zong, are, are you okay?”

Do you think I look okay?! Cheng YuTang didn’t know how to respond. His heart was filled with an unbelievable amount of exasperation and pain. He had lived for more than 30 years and he had never been so humiliated in his entire life.

This little thing is too fierce!

Ji XiaoYu saw Cheng YuTang staring at him with eyes full of blazing fire, with a look like he was eager to strip him bare and swallow him alive. His heart couldn’t help but shake. Cheng YuTang was now his source of food and clothing, like his parent. He had offended him so greatly that he might not be able to preserve his livelihood. That would be horrible! He rambled incomprehensibly in defense of his actions, “Cheng Zong, I’m sorry. I-I didn’t mean to. You just did that, that to me, and it reminded me of bad things that have happened before, and in a rush, I……. Yeah, I drank too much wine and got confused, please don’t mind me……..” f(r)eewebnovel

Cheng YuTang was originally really, really angry, filled with hatred and ready to chew this ruthless guy up in one gulp and swallow him down, but listening to Ji XiaoYu, his attention was caught.

“Bad things that have happened before.” This little thing has been indecently assaulted against his will, so horribly that it had left a trauma, and that’s why he overreacted when I was intimate with him?
