But the fact that I hated people who shared other's secrets, and that I also hated people who take screenshots of your DMs and then show them to the person we were talking about, made me completely decide on not mentioning Abi.
Until I saw Abi walking towards the parking lot. Luckily, though, she was behind Alexandra, so she could not see her.
I grabbed Alexandra by her shoulders with both my arms and dove into some conversation head first.
I did not care about others seeing Abi, since they didn't know who Abi even was.
Restricting Alexandra from turning around, I talked to her about how I made Jonah an offer about the whole porn house thing, while also wildly shaking my head from side to side, signalling Abi how dangerous it was.
But it was all for nought as Abi came trotting over to us.
I could only let go of Alexandra now and have my head in my hands.
"Hey Andra! Fyi your scripts are dogshit." Abi said with a grin.
"Abi!?" Alexandra said as she slowly turned around.
"Yeah! You didn't tell me you worked here!" Abi announced, "And you didn't tell me about your friend's stamina and technique, or I would have never called him mediocre. I have never felt that good in my lifetime."
"Max… what is she-" Alexandra spoke as she looked me dead in the eye.
Why was I trying to avoid this? I mean, that was our job. Why didn't I want her to know that?
"Well, meet my partner from the video. We just finished filming." I said with a light clap and an awkward laugh, "I was just about to tell you about her."
Meanwhile, Tanith and Ai just stood their staring, but their eyes told me, 'No, you weren't' .
Now trying to catch her up with the situation, I leant towards her, wanting to tell her about how she was supposed to be a porn script writer.
But she suddenly pushed me back. Even I was taken aback by it. I could see her eyes widen as she stared into blank space for a second.
When she was back, she apologised profusely for pushing me, which I can understand since she was probably quite surprised by Abi finding out about her work.
I leaned in again and whispered, "TLDR Jonah somehow brought you up, and then I played it out like you were a scriptwriter."
"Oh, ah, thanks for doing that." She said as she avoided looking me in the eye. Her smile had disappeared into the oblivion but as soon as she turned to Abi again, her smile was back, but it was fake, I could tell that.
"I know my scripts are shitty, but you knew what you were getting yourself into." Alexandra said as with each word her voice loudened a bit.
"What even?" Abi said as she looked at her phone's screen. "I really need to leave right now, but I guess we'll be seeing each other more often now"
She walked away without even waving or waiting for us to even say something back.
I turned to the three girls. "So, why did you want me to wait?"
"I don't know. Alexandra wanted to meet you in person for some reason." Ai replied. freew(e)bnove(l)
"Is that so?" I said as I looked at Alexandra.
But Alexandra didn't reply.
Tanith sighed. "I got this." She said as she put her arm around Alexandra and walked away with here leaving Ai and me behind.
"You do not know why she did that?" Ai asked with a serious face.
"No?" I replied innocently, though at the back of my head I now had a fair idea why she reacted the way she did.
"She probably developed a crush on you, somehow, in that little time you guys spent together. Maybe it was because you took her virginity or maybe it was because everything you did after, I don't know but. The reality that the man she liked was going to fuck multiple women and be watched by millions of people must have finally kicked into her. For her to react like that, she must have fantasized quite a lot about you." Ai explained.
I could only nod.
"Do you know that on the way here, she was talking about not getting her contract signed and only working with you in that porn house thing you brought up, that's how much trust she built in you in that short amount of time-" Ai ranted off but I cut her off.
"I know alright! but I know what I am getting into. I can't just back out of it because of Alexandra liking me, can I?" I replied rationally.
"No, but you tried to avoid bringing up that girl, didn't you? That has to mean something, right?" Ai retaliated.
"It might but, I really want to do this, and I have done this. I won't back out of it." I said, as I firmly took my stand.
"Fine, but can you imagine Alexandra having sex with some other guy?" Ai said with creases on her forehead.
'I couldn't…' that was the answer.
'No, I had taken her and the other two for granted. The porn house was just an idea. At the end of the day it all depended on them.'
'And for just stupid selfish reasons I had made it so that they couldn't have sex with anyone but me, It wasn't just Alexandra I am supposed to be taking care of, I needed to be responsible for all three of them, since if I end up being successful in this industry, it would be because of these guys, and the system…'
'It wasn't just Alexandra running from the reality. I was running too, trying not to get too involved in the moral implications of the shit I was doing.'
