"Mom, do you even have any idea how difficult it is for me, not just me, Sam and Jake too. I don't care much about myself but at least maintain a healthy relationship with Jake and Sam! Your relationship with them at their age decided how they will integrate themselves into society! I don't want them to turn out like that guy you have been-" Alexandra said in anger, not exactly yelling but not calm either.
"Alexandra! You don't even know what that man is doing, I am sorry that I can't tell you everything, but please believe me it's not what you think it is." Alexandra's mom said with a genuinely sorry expression, she tried holding Alexandra's hand but Alexandra instantly slapped her hand away.
I did want to butt in.
but it was like watching a live reality show, so I didn't feel like ruining the immersion.
Also, it was a mother daughter debate, and clearly, her mom wasn't as deranged as Alexandra made her out to be.
that reaction only means that either she is a pro at acting, or she genuinely feels sorry. I hope it's the latter.
"So just tell me! Why can't you tell me!" Alexandra yelled out in frustration.
"Sorry, I just can't..." Alexandra's mom said without looking her daughter in the eye.
"Ugh! Fine then! Please spend some time with Jake and Sam, just some normal quality bonding time. You can at least act as if you care about them, right?" Alexandra said finally making a compromise.
"I'll take them out to the park today." Alexandra's mom said with a nod.
"Good, and don't bring that man with you," Alexandra said while leaving the room.
it was almost as if she forgot that I was even there.
Alexandra's mom was left sighing.
"Maybe one day she'll know what I did..."
"Uhh... so what did you do?" I finally spoke up after a pretty long time.
"I can't tell my daughter about it, what makes you think I'll tell you about it?" Alexandra's mom said with her eyebrow raised.
"Well fair enough..." I replied while walking towards the door, trying to leave the room.
"Take care of Alexandra for me, will you?" Said her mom while I was at the door.
"I'd do that without you telling me that," I replied confidently.
"Thanks," Alexandra's mom said as I went out of the room.
Making my way downstairs I found Alexandra talking to a girl.
The girl had short blonde hair, while she was wearing just a sports bra and leggings seemed like she had come here after a jog or something.
From her face, she was probably Alexandra's relative, the distinct nose was quite similar between Alexandra, Alexandra's mom, and that girl
The only thing which that girl didn't inherit were boobs, because she was as flat as a washboard.
I casually walked down the stairs.
While I realized that I had just woken up and my hair were currently in a frenzy.
"Hey Max, sorry you had to experience, 'that' right after waking up," Alexandra said apologetically.
"No it's alright, " I said while thinking, besides touching those boobs in the morning already made my day.
"Also, were you sleeping naked with my mom?" Alexandra asked with an unforgiving face.
"Well, technically speaking she was the one who was naked, I had my underwear on," I said trying to put the blame on her mom.
"I can't even blame you for that, but it wouldn't have happened if you slept in my room."
'Yup but I wouldn't have gotten to touch those boobs if I was sleeping in your room.' I thought to myself.
"Yup, anyways who's that?" I asked, changing the topic.
"Oh, this is Abi, my cousin, she stops by sometimes during her morning routine. And Abi, this is Max, he's a friend of mine and a co-worker." Alexandra said with a bit of doubt.
"Oh! I was almost baffled thinking that you were dating such an average looking guy." Abi said in a condescending but relieved tone.
This family definitely had problems somewhere.
"Sorry..."
"Don't apologize to me, apologize to him" Alexandra said while glaring at Abi.
"No don't apologize, just answer a few of my questions," I said with a smile.
"Alright?" Abi said pleased with the deal.
"Does wearing socks without legs have a point?"
"No?"
"Is wearing gloves without Hands pointless?"
"Yes?" Abi replied confused by the questions.
"Then why are you wearing a bra?" I said with a smug smile, I said as pointed at her flat chest.
(No offense to differently-abled people, and there might be special gloves or socks for you guys but here we are talking about the normal socks and gloves. )
