After Alex caught Shinx, he went back to the place where he first met the Scyther leader.
Shinx and Alex had a pleasant chat this way back. Both learned a lot about each other.
Alex had also told Shinx to stay in the Pokeball while they were in the forest. He could go out if they were resting or eating, but he's supposed to stay in his Pokeball otherwise.
Shinx just was way too weak, and 1 move from a mid or late-elite Pokemon can kill him instantly. Alex doesn't want to take chances.
Shinx understood Alex's concern and accepted it with an extremely happy expression. He was truly delighted that Alex was so concerned about his safety.
He also started talking to the other Pokemon from Alex's group on the way back. Shinx also talks to the other Pokemon when Alex's group was waiting for the Scyther pack.
Shinx had the best relationship with Alex, Bastiodon, Gardevoir, and then Blaziken. (he talked to these Pokemon the most)
Alex could understand why he got along well with Bastiodon and Gardevoir (the Pokemon that first talked to him) but he didn't understand why Blaziken counted among them. But he need only to think for a moment to understand why this was happening.
Bastiodon and Blaziken have been almost inseparable since they were little and it's really rare that they aren't near each other.
Although all Pokemon from Alex get along well with each other (maybe not Scizor and Crobat) they don't talk to all Pokemon the same amount.
Alex understands his Pokemon very well and knew which Pokemon talks to which Pokemon the most. he can even do a list in his head.

Ninetales: Banette, Gardevoir, Bastiodon

Alex only had problems with Gardevoir and Umbreon on agreeing on which three Pokemon these two Pokemon talking the most with. Gardevoir and Umbreon just talked so much to every Pokemon in Alex's group that it's extremely hard to tell exactly.
These two are also the two Pokemon that contribute most to the very good atmosphere of Alex's group. Alex was very glad that he had these two Pokemon on his team.

Alex waited for almost two hours before one Scyther came back with a group of weak Pokemon.
He telepathically asked, "Did you find them?"
Scyther replied with a serious expression, "I don't know if this is the group you're looking for but I found a group of two humans with lots of Pokemon."
Alex asked, "Were those two humans female?"
Scyther said nothing for a few seconds. After a bit of hesitation, he said, "I can't distinguish the sex of humans...."
'For real?...it should be easier to tell the gender of Humans than Pokemon right? Or can't he tell the sex of his own Pokemon species either?'
Alex was very confused when he heard that. He looked at his Pokemon with a curious look like, "Can you tell the sexes of humans?"
He heard a positive response from nearly all of his Pokemon.
Only Shinx and Zweilous said nothing.
Alex could understand why the young Shinx couldn't do it, but the fact that Zweilous had a problem with that worried him a bit.
Zweilous was a very friendly pokemon, apart from the fact that he likes to nibble on things and people. After his evolution, he even started biting on things or people with one head and talking with the other head at the same time.
He felt that Zweilous used a bit too much of his free time biting things or people and that the general knowledge of Zweilous is truthfully insufficient.
Alex could only hope that Zweilous's "hobby" would end once he evolved into Hydreigon.
He looked at Scyther and asked, "Did the two humans have two swellings on their chests?"
Scyther showed a thoughtful expression as he said, "Ohh yes, The chests of these humans weren't straight...Can you find out which humans are female with this method?"
Alex replied with a smile, "Yes. should almost always work."
Then he said with a first expression, "quickly take us to the place where you found her."
Janine and her one subordinate weren't with Marco's team right now so Alex wanted to take advantage of that immediately and defeat her immediately.
Crobat immediately grabbed Alex into his baby carrier and began following Scyther.
The rest of Alex's team does the same and follows Scyther leading the group.
Alex said telepathically to all of his Pokemon and his subordinates, "While moving, use all Master and Expert buff moves to make yourself stronger."
Because Alex doesn't want to waste time and wants to defeat Janine as quickly as possible, he didn't want to stand still and wait for his Pokemon to buff themselves optimally.
Alex believed that his Pokemon with this buff are definitely stronger than Janine's Pokemon and that his 3 subordinates are stronger than Janine's one subordinate.
It took Scyther only 10 minutes to get Alex's group 300 meters away from Janine's team.
Janine still has no idea that Alex has found her.
She hadn't thought about the fact that those weak wild Pokemon she walks past are spies of Alex.
Alex couldn't see her from that distance but he knew from his "spies" that she was only about 300 meters away from him.
He didn't want to get any closer because Janine's Crobat can easily spot him and his team if he gets close. Although his Crobat can counter that a bit, it's harder the closer Alex and his group get.
Only if his Crobat were much stronger than Janine's Crobat could Alex come closer with relative certainty.
Alex showed a serious expression as he said, "Ok. Get everyone ready too. We're all going to do a 250-meter sprint together and then immediately attack Janine and her subordinate."
He looked at Maria, Elise, and Daniel as he said, "You three and your Pokemon will also take care of Janine's subordinate."
