Chapter 383: Pokemon master of tactics: Chapter 383

Alex immediately went to Scizor and started healing him.

Although he already expected Scizor to win, the Scyther (leader) was stronger than he thought and Scyther actually almost managed to defeat Scizor.

Without Alex's help, Scizor would probably lose to Scyther.

Alex walked towards the unconscious Scyther (leader) with a [Hyper Potion] in his hand.

The other 7 Scythers immediately showed an aggressive expression when they saw Alex walking closer to their leader.

Alex showed a harmless smile as he said, "I'm just trying to heal him. I won't harm you or your leader."

The other 7 Scythers showed suspicion, but when they looked at the other Pokemon on Alex's team, they knew that Alex's team was much stronger than their group. If this human truly wanted to damage their group, he could easily defeat their group with his direct strength.

7 Scythers stopped showing aggressive body language and let Alex move closer to their leader.

Alex started healing the Scyther (leader) and waited for her to wake up. It was only a few minutes before the Scyther (leader) woke up.

He looked at his body first and he realized that he was completely healed.

Scyther (leader) immediately understood who must have done this and he started looking at Alex with a puzzled expression.

"Why are you doing this?"

He couldn't understand why this human didn't just kill him and his group.

The strong eat the weak. Everything else was strange to Scyther.

Alex showed a thoughtful expression as he said, "You don't trust me at all. Have you completely forgotten what I said before or were you so sure that was a lie?"

Scyther (leader) became even more confused when he heard Alex's answer. " ???...obviously that was a lie, right? I've never heard of a human giving wild Pokemon anything that is not useless."

Alex thought with an annoyed expression, 'those bastards on this island make it difficult for everyone to trade with Pokemon.'

He couldn't understand why people in this world so often try to cheat wild Pokemon in trading.

Alex didn't think that because of moral issues, but because he thought it was extremely counterproductive.

If Team Rocket establishes a good relationship with the strong Pokemon groups on this island and trades with them, items for food and evolution items for the long term, they could make extremely large amounts of money.

Especially if they stay anyway on this island for a long time.

'Hmm, the humans in the Pokemon world are really bad at trading or at least not as experienced as the humans in my world.'

Alex who now, realized how rare the trade between wild Pokemon and human is, smiled.

If he's going to build a base in Hoenn, he'll use that knowledge.

Alex, who was in a happy mood, said with a smile, "I didn't lie to you. I will give you the promised items once you help me."

Scyther (leader) still showed a suspicious expression when he said, "I still don't trust you. What's stopping you from not giving me the items after we've helped you out?"

Alex retrieved 4 Steel-Type items, which together are worth 100,000 Pokedollars, from his TRH device.

These items weren't worth much to Alex, but to Scyther, they were incredible treasures.

He gives these 4 Steel-Type items to the Scyther (leader) when he says, "I'll give you half now and a half when you complete the task."

Scyther (leader) unraveled a shocked expression. after that shock, he stopped looking at Alex with a suspicious expression.

He gives these 4 steel-type items to 4 of his subordinates and they immediately start evolving when they touch them.

Alex, seeing that Scyther did not take an item for himself, showed a slightly puzzled expression.

Scyther (leader) saw this and explained, "Although this Evolution is stronger it is not perfect. my current form is faster."

Alex asked, "How do you know that?"

Scyther (leader) responds with a mild expression, "Instinct"

Alex already thought that was the reason, although he didn't quite understand why.

This instinct appears to be different from Alex's old-world instinct.

Why does this difference happen exactly?

Alex has no idea even if he had a suspicion that it had something to do with the gods or full-blood legendary Pokemon of this world.

full blood legendary pokemon can actually be considered gods. After all, they are the strongest creatures in the world and even the weakest cannot be killed by Humans. Even though it seems it was only tried once a long time ago.

Scyther (leader) asked, "Human, what exactly do you want us to do?"

Alex knew that this Scyther (leader) would not take on any task that was too dangerous. although he had no intention of sending them to their deaths anyway.

He said with a serious expression, "On this island are two other groups of Humans with a similar strength to my group. Maybe a bit weaker. I don't expect you to defeat them or even attack them, but that you find them for me without them realizing that you're doing this for me."

Scyther (leader) understood that this mission was not really without danger. Although Humans don't often attack Pokemon if they don't attack first, it can still happen. Not an entirely safe task, but not actually dangerous either.

Scyther (leader) felt that this mission wasn't really that problematic and these items from this human are worth it.

He accepted Alex's task and started calling the other small Pokemon groups in this area with his group of Scyther.

Because he is the ruler of Area 4, he can effortlessly get the help of weaker Pokemon groups from that area 4.

To gather information, this group of weaker Pokemon are extremely useful.

Alex, who saw that Scyther (leader) could summon so many Pokemon, smiled.

Although these Pokemon are extremely weak and do not pose a threat to his group, these Pokemon are still extremely useful for scouting tasks.

Alex flashed a smile as the Scyther's group split and start looking for his opponent, for him.

"All this for only 200,000 Pokedollars."

Alex treats hundreds of thousands like small changes.

***

I showed in the last chapter how Pokemon talk if one doesn't use telepathy like Alex or Gardevoir. But I don't intend to show it all the time. I don't think anyone really needs it. maybe I'll use it for a joke now and then.
