He said quickly, "Crobat, [H5]"
Ezra flashed a smile as he said, "Heracross use [Megahorn]"
Alex showed a calm expression as Heracross quickly prepared a Master rank move.
Although [Megahorn] on the Master-rank finishes faster than any other move Crobat can, it doesn't matter, unless Heracross is within range.
The H in [H5] stands for "hit and run" and the 5 for which move Crobat should prepare for while he is performing this "hit and run" action.
Crobat is a bit faster than Heracross and can prevent him from getting in range immediately when he has [Megahorn] ready.
When Alex thought that he had already won that fight, he saw how Heracross was faster than Crobat and that he was only a few meters away from Crobat.
Alex looked at Crobat and immediately realized what the problem was. During the [Rock Slide] hits, Crobat's wings were badly injured and one even had a big hole in them.
Without giving Crobat time, Heracross jumped 4 meters in the air while his horn emits a green aura.

Alex realized that he was too distracted and noticed too late how his Pokemon is slower than before, due to an injury it suffered.
He took a too technical view of this fight and didn't realize how various wounds on Crobat could affect his plans.
It's usually extremely difficult to damage a Pokemon's body enough to make it weaker or slower unless it's unconscious.
As long as a Pokemon's life energy is not fatigued, a Pokemon's body has to be extremely injured to be affected in the fight.
A few bruises or bleeding are possible but not something like losing body parts.
But there is an exception. When the strength of both Pokemon is so different, it is possible to remove parts of a Pokemon's body or kill it directly without knocking it out first.
Although Crobat has a 4 level disadvantage, Heracross isn't strong enough to be able to do something like this, so Alex didn't think about these things.
But Crobat's wings are the most vulnerable part of Crobat so Heracross with its 4 level advantage and effective move, managed to inflict injury on Crobat's wings.

Alex didn't wait long and called Blaziken.

Alex flashed a smile when he saw what move his opponent was about to use.
He still felt the warmth of [Sunny Day] on the battlefield and now that his opponent had no chance to defend against Blaziken's next move, Alex knows, he won a perfect chance to win this fight.
Blaziken finished first and used her Strongest move without giving Butterfree a chance to dodge.
[Overheat] hit Butterfree who was trying to dodge it and Butterfree immediately filed to the ground unconscious.
It was complete overkill.
Even if Butterfree try to stay awake with willpower alone, he wouldn't be able to cope with the damage his body had taken and still fall unconscious to the ground.
Ezra stared at Blaziken, speechless, feeling like this was all a joke.

He thought with a slightly satisfied expression 'Although you are quite weak, I could still learn a bit from you. '
The referee said aloud, "Participant Ezra is disqualified. Participant Alex is the winner of this round."
