The man there was a bulky man that had many rippling muscles around his body. He was a low-level gold Star who just got his promotion from silver Star recently! When he heard that the remaining members of Alcatraz were hiring mercenaries to take out these girls, he couldn’t stop himself from agreeing! He already tasted what it felt like to take other people’s attributes and level up quickly and he wanted to take more!
But the man was feeling strange! Why was his face suddenly bending inwards? He was shocked by the amount of pain he was feeling! He was jumping inside the restaurant just now, right? So why is he suddenly flying in the opposite direction!?
Oh, that’s why…
“Rarghhh!!!”
Boom!!!!
That was the sound of Rin’s fist slamming into the face of the man that came through the window. It was an instantaneous movement from her! Once the man jumped through the window, she slammed him in the face before his feet could even touch the ground! Rin was shocked when she saw how the man went flying out of the window. Did she ever have this kind of strength!? She just wanted to knock him back a little and he went flying!?
Han told her once that her current normal strength wouldn’t lose to a gold Star, but is this not too much? Since when can she make gold Stars fly like that!? Is it because of the gloves!?
“Trevor!! You bitch!! What the hell do you think you’re doing!?’
A short man that reminded Rin too much of a dwarf suddenly jumped through the window while aiming for her with a sword and Rin slid back and lowered her center of gravity.
“Yue!!!”
Tendrils filled the entire room and the man lost his momentum as one of the tendrils grabbed onto his arm! He was trying to get the tendril off and didn’t pay Rin much attention, so it was a complete shock to him when Rin’s fist slammed into his stomach and they both flew out from the window!
Yue withdrew her tendrils. She trusted Rin to be able to handle those two, so she just turned to face the back door. Two other people were trying to sneak in through there. They must’ve thought that the first two would distract us enough to allow them to enter.
The back door was slammed open by one of the two and then they stopped when they saw Yue standing there with her innocent look. Yuuma – who was sitting at the bar – gave them a salute with her glass of alcohol and one of the idiots saluted back. She was a beautiful woman so of course he would salute back!
Slam!
A tendril slammed into the face of that idiot and he shot to the side of the restaurant like a bullet! He crashed into a bunch of tables and the second idiot tried to help out by slicing the tendril, but Yue’s tendrils wrapped around him like a mummy and she began to squeeze tightly!!
Boom!!!
Yue looked back when she heard an explosion echo outside the restaurant. That is where Rin is fighting! It seems that the man grew tired of only using physical force and he was now using skills. Yue hoped that Rin could handle them. It would be bad if she was injured there.
The man that Yue was holding back with her tendrils suddenly took a deep breath and activated a skill as he breathed out smoke!
[Smoke Screen] has been activated.
Yue felt her senses warn her to jump back and she immediately backpedaled as a sword slammed into the spot she had just been standing in! The first idiot had gotten up and was now coming for her! She twirled around and kicked the man to the side while avoiding a sneak attack from the first man. The two of them had good teamwork and Yue knew that this wouldn’t be an easy fight at all!
Outside the restaurant, Rin was running! The man she was trying to fight got angry and he was now in the middle of dropping large balls of fire around the street! She was just happy that the first man was still unconscious. It seems her strength was too much for the man to handle. For him to be knocked out for this long means he just became a gold Star recently.
Ka-Boom!
Rin turned around a building and hid there as an explosion raced across the street. She heard the dwarf man laughing while walking towards her.
“Not so high and mighty now, are you!? You flat bitch! I’ll fucking kill you!”
[Flaming Arrow] has been activated.
Phwoomm!!
Shit! Rin quickly moved away from the spot she was hiding behind as an arrow made of fire suddenly destroyed it completely! That skill had to be at least 200!! Did this idiot want to burn the entire street down!? No, I can’t get distracted! Focus Rin!
Rin took a deep breath and she charged straight for the man! She knew that she was at a disadvantage if she let this fight continue like this. She didn’t have any long-distance abilities like Yue or Lily so there was no way for her to counter things like that arrow. Her only chance in this situation is to get in closer and make him fight hand to hand!
The dwarf was shocked by Rin’s confidence. Did she think she could take him on by making this a close-quarter fight? Did she really think that he was as weak as that man she knocked out!?
“So you’re approaching me, you fucking bitch!”
“You swear way too much!!!”
Boom!!!
The two of them slammed their fists together and the dwarf smirked! He knew she wouldn’t be able to match his strength!
Rin grimaced as she felt her hand vibrate from the impact. Damn, this dwarf is strong! But then something suddenly appeared in her vision!

The gloves Rin had was able to increase certain attributes in its user up to a total boost of ×10. The gloves could calibrate themselves and determine which attributes they needed to increase more than others. So now that it realized that Rin needed more strength than agility, it took out some points from agility and dropped it in strength!
A surge of power flowed through Rin as her strength suddenly increased! The dwarf was still gloating over the fact that he won that first exchange of blows, so when Rin pulled her fist back for another hit, he was more than happy to also pull back.
“Rarghhhhh!!!!”
Ka-Boommm!!!
The ground under the two of them broke and shattered! The dwarf was so shocked by the amount of strength that Rin showed this time that he didn’t even notice that his hand was bent in the wrong direction until a few seconds later! Her hit completely bent the arm like a twig!
Once the pain started to come, he screamed in anger! What sort of sudden strength boost is that! Her strengths increased by a hundred percent just like that!?
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Rin didn’t let him rest for a moment and unleashed her full fury on him until he was completely out cold on the ground! Once that was done, she took a deep breath while calming down. This wasn’t as hard as she thought it would be. These guys are… weak. I hope Yue is doing okay. Rin looked back at the restaurant and deadpanned when she saw a giant stone sword flying down towards it at a rapid speed. Isn’t that Yue’s Fallen Angel? Did that girl want to destroy the entire building!?
But before the fallen angel could destroy the building, it stopped in the air and disappeared. Rin was suddenly afraid that Yue lost her fight, but then Yue threw the bodies of the two people who attacked from the back out of the window and Rin calmed down. Yue walked out with a large bruise on her left cheek and a frown on her face. The left arm of her dress was completely torn and some blood was leaking from the injury there. Yue couldn’t believe they tried to use a large area skill to attack the building. She had to use her fallen angel to block it before they could finish activating the skill and that was when she got the injury on her arm. Luckily, Yuuma was there to drag her out from harm’s way before they stabbed her to death and she was able to handle things easily after that.
Rin walked up to Yue and used her sleeve to clean some of the blood on the edge of Yue’s mouth. Yue grimaced in pain and Rin laughed lightly. How strange that this is how their life is now. They are busy fighting superpowered beings in another world and it seems so normal.
“Where’s Lily? Didn’t she go upstairs before the fight even started,”
Rin asked Yue this and Yue shrugged to tell that she didn’t know. But the two of them suddenly looked up to the second floor when a large amount of ice suddenly covered it completely! It seems Lily was also busy.

Rina and Kim were told to hide before all of this fighting started. They went upstairs to the upper rooms where they met up with Lily. Lily trusted that Rin and Yue could handle the people downstairs. But she could hear one person moving along the rafters above their room.
It looks like this one wanted to capture Kim and Rina instead of fighting downstairs. Lily watched as the man came through the window of the house. He was someone with a slim build and a cold look. He had a sword in his hand and his gaze swept over all of them coldly. He is a gold Star, so once he saw that Lily only had a silver Star, he became a bit relaxed. What could a silver Star do against a gold Star? It would be better if she just surrendered instead of making him kill her.
