Fey gritted her teeth and tried to understand what was happening within the Temple! All of these things didn’t correlate. There were too many unknowns for her to conclude! But then she suddenly remembered something! The Alcatraz guild has been taking in recruits lately. There is a rule in the Alcatraz guild that the recruits must have up to five skills above 150 before they can join in! So people who want to join in usually start killing other chosen to raise their skills as much as possible! It is possible that one of the Alcatraz recruiting centers was close to the tenth floor!
Ragnar came to the same conclusion as Fey and he could feel anger rising in him! So his comrades were killed just so that those other madmen could get stronger!? What kind of evil person will just kill that many people for the sake of a few skills!? It looked like they were suspecting this white Star for nothing. They should have put in more time to investigate things instead of just coming here like fools.
Ragnar apologized to Han about the disturbance and then thanked him for helping them to find out the truth. Han gave them a pleasant smile. Of course, it was no trouble at all to help them! It was just what good guys did!
But he then told them that he would be going to the thirteenth floor very soon and they developed strange expressions. The thing that they were worried about was the fifteenth floor and not even the thirteenth floor. There has been a feud on that floor for a long time and the Alcatraz guild might have a recruiting center on that floor. The main guilds have all been told to stay away from it since they couldn’t afford to have war with them, but they now had a good reason to go and see it. If Alcatraz were the ones that killed Roland then it was just like declaring war in the Trinata guild. They wouldn’t let this stand!
Ragnar and Fey decided that since they would be going there to investigate anyway, it might be a good idea to help Han get through that floor as thanks for his help. They didn’t like their guild being in debt to anyone and Han had helped them a lot already.
Han thanked them and accepted their help happily. Fey saw the sincerity in Han’s eyes and she felt a little bad about thinking he was a leacher before. It seems he wasn’t just a disgusting and dirty pest who only wanted her body like a dog in heat.
Han sneezed! It felt like someone just gave him the greatest insult of his life! Who was it!? Huh!? He looked towards Fey and he saw her smiling at him for the first time. He blinked. It wasn’t her insulting him? Then it has to be someone else. Who the fuck was it?

The next day, Han brought Yue, Lily, and Rin with him while going to the thirteenth floor. They had to stop over at the twelfth floor first, but Han had never seen anybody throw him out faster than that queen did! She just took one look at him and immediately ordered her guards to make a way for him to get to the portal as soon as possible! She didn’t want him anywhere near her floor at all! Ragnar and Fey were with them and they wondered what Han did that made the queen so angry. They had never seen the queen just allow anybody to walk scot-free to the next floor before!
Han took all the girls to the portal and they arrived on the next floor in record time. This floor was a simple valley of grass and trees. It even had a waterfall and it would have been a perfect floor for resting if not for the numerous bugs that were also here! They were everywhere and they appeared once the group landed on the floor! These monsters were not as strong as those on the twelfth floor, but they surely made up for it with their numbers! Giant bugs that numbered in the hundreds swarmed the group from all directions!
The buzzing sounds and dark clouds of the bugs were so annoying! Most of them had to cover up their ears because their sensitive hearing was constantly vibrating! What sort of stupid floor is this!? This isn’t Jumanji, dammit! Why are there so many bugs!?

The sound of a skill being activated echoed across the floor and they looked up to see that it was Fey! Fey had her staff held up and her eyes closed. She was muttering something under her breath and strands of wind around her were swirling and moving like a vortex!
Ragnar told all of them to back up a little and once they did, dangerous bladed wind swept across the entire valley! It tore and rendered the bugs to mincemeat, and by the time Fey was done, there was almost nothing left around them! So this is one of her skills! Han was right to guess that she was a wide-area skill user and not a close combat fighter. This skill she used should be somewhere around 150 or maybe even close to 200! It wasn’t that high, but the amount of control she had over it was impressive!
Once they were done, the group began to move deeper into the valley. They encountered a few more bugs swarms, but it was easy for them to take care of it. This was how things went for a long time until they finally reached the portal for the fourteenth floor! Han felt a little weird that he was the only one who didn’t do anything on this floor! Even the girls fought a little! But Han couldn’t be too eager!
He might want to fight, but he had to hold back so the two of them wouldn’t become too suspicious. he needed to get to the fifteenth floor before he could start anything.
The group made it to the next floor and this time instead of insects, it was wasps! Wasps!? What the fuck was wrong with this shitty Temple. Who the fuck thinks, oh, yeah, it’s a good idea to put wasps as monsters!? Those things had the biggest stingers Han had ever seen in his life! Yue didn’t even bother going near them! She was still a child and she didn’t want anything to do with wasps that could basically skewer her with their asses!
The siblings, Ragnar and Fey were finding the entire thing hilarious. They dealt with some of the wasps while Rin and Lily handled the rest. Lily was really putting the new skills she got into good use! She was now very skilled at using Flash Freeze and even Frozen Domain. Han was sure that she would soon make them go up to 200 so she could get a gold Star too! Rin was still using just her bandaged fists to fight but Han knew he didn’t have to bother too much about her. He already gave her something that should make her one of the most formidable foes on these beginning floors!
The weapon he got from the twelfth floor was actually meant for Rin. Han knew that she is not able to fight chosen with only her physical strength, so he got something that he knew would help her against these superpowered assholes! The weapon has a lot of abilities and Rin has to discover all of them on her own! Rin was a bit shocked when she received the gift, but she was still happy about it. They took on a shape that would suit her best and it was going to be something perfect for hand-to-hand fighting!
The group made their way through the floor but Ragnar kept his eyes on Han through it. He knew that Han was the weakest one here but something was bothering him! This man is too calm! It is like he isn’t even bothered by anything around him! The only time I’ve seen him look flustered is when he saw the wasps and I’m sure that is only because they looked disgusting! How can someone as weak as him be so calm on a floor that only a silver Star can survive on!? Is it that he trusts his companions that much? No, he doesn’t look like someone depending on other people! He is even giving them tips on how to fight!! That isn’t how a weak person behaves!
Fey was also a bit curious about why Han was standing and doing nothing. She knew that even though he was weak he should still have some skills. Why isn’t he using it to help them at all!?
If Han used any of his skills, even if he turned it down to the very least setting of only 1%. It would still be greater than anything a gold Star could produce.. So Han isn’t going to be activating any skills for now! He would just wait for the fifteenth floor first.
