Miss Kim noticed the sudden change from being ill to sudden determination in Rin and she was a little worried. This woman is a very strange one. Does she just change moods like that?
The two women delved into silence again for some time, but the next person that suddenly spoke up was Kim. She was a bit nervous to talk about what she wanted to, but it seemed like the perfect time to say something.
“So, I remember you and Han from back on earth. Did you really agree to all of this? All the girls came after you did, and I don’t know how you can put up with it”
What Kim was talking about was the entire harem situation. She was worried she was overstepping her bounds, but Kim knew that she was the sort of woman who wouldn’t have even harbored the thought of sharing Han if she was the one that got him first. She wouldn’t allow anyone else to come near him. But Rin was so mature about it like she didn’t even care!
Rin chuckled nervously. She understood that it was weird, but the situation when she accepted it was a bit… Strange.
“Well, I can’t say I’m happy about it. Sometimes I want to have him all to myself. I really love him and back then, when I saw him kissing other girls I used to feel this small pain in my chest. It doesn’t come anymore, but it was a big deal for me back then”
The look on Kim’s face showed that she still didn’t understand and Rin went further to explain.
“The reason I accepted it so easily was that I realized that the world we lived in wasn’t the normal one at all! Lily actually kidnapped me for some time and it took her aggressive nature for me to see that I was like a bug when compared to the sort of people Han faces every day. I can’t protect Han like I wish I could. I want to be the shoulder he leans on and I want to be that person he thinks of coming back to whenever he goes on those dangerous missions. But… Isn’t it better if he has many more people to come back to and many more shoulders to lean on? I might not be the only girl anymore, but I don’t regret my decision for a second. I love him and I will do anything to make him come back safely, even share him. And besides, I can’t exactly keep up with him alone. He’s very energetic in bed”
Kim blushed crimson once Rin said that last part and Rin laughed at the innocent look on the woman’s face. Kim couldn’t stop herself from wondering if Han was really that good. She still hasn’t done it with him, but now she was feeling a little eager. No, no! Don’t be desperate! You don’t have any right to be desperate! You have to wait for Han to become comfortable with you again after everything you did to him! Kim calmed herself down and sighed.
Kim heard Rin laugh again and she looked towards her. At that moment, Kim was in awe of the look Rin had in her eyes. The smile Rin was giving Kim was bright and it showed that she meant every word of what she said. For once in her life, Kim felt absolutely beaten by someone else. How can a woman be so… different from what society wanted people to be like? Kim wishes that she was the one that was there for Han like Rin was. Maybe she would be the one smiling like that. Kim spoke sadly:
“You are a very brave person. I think you deserved to be with Han more than I did. I wasn’t even nice to him at all at the beginning. I was just looking to make money and trying my best to beat other competitors in the business. I feel like all of that was just a waste of my time now. I could have taken Han’s advice and lived a lot more. I would have enjoyed my life back then if I did”
Rim bumped Kim’s shoulder and Kim looked up at her to see a smile on Rin’s face.
“You’re here’s with us now, aren’t you. And even if you weren’t there at the beginning. I know Han loves you! He wouldn’t bring you with us if he didn’t. Just give it time, you’ll find your own purpose, trust me”
What Rin said really made Kim feel like she was a part of the family for the first time. Ever since she came here, she hasn’t been able to stop trying to prove herself because she thought she was the outsider, but it is nice to finally have somebody tell her she was wanted. Miss Kim suddenly stopped walking as she noticed they were no longer walking in the forest.
The place they were now was an open field and on the other side of it, she could see red eyes glaring out at her! A hand landed on her shoulder and pulled her back sharply. Kim turned and saw the serious expression on Rin’s face. She is getting ready to fight that thing!? The eyes she could see were bigger than basketballs!! Just how big is this monster?
Rin walked forward and told Miss Kim not to move from the spot she was in. She had her hands wrapped in some bandages and she cracked her knuckles while moving ahead. Han already told her that she was a physical fighter. She really didn’t know why fighting was now second nature to her when she was just a secretary before. It felt like a drastic change that should have been too much for her to accept so easily, but it was actually very easy for her to make the change! It might have been difficult to face this monster in the beginning, but not now! She can now beat the shit out of a monster of this level!
Rin charged forward and Miss Kim couldn’t help but watch in awe as a monster larger than she was tall slithered out of the forest with a menacing hiss! It charged straight for Rin and intended to swallow her in one go! Rin dodged to one side and lashed her hand out to the side with a wicked knuckle punch! The snake’s head recoiled snd it hissed in anger again as it rose its head up! Damn! It was tall! This thing has to be half as long as the H&C advertisement building!!
The snake struck down and tried to slam Rin to the ground and Miss Kim screamed when she saw that Rin wasn’t moving! She was just standing there! Did she want to die!?
But there was nothing to fear at all because once the monster came down, Rin caught the snake by its fangs and her feet dug into the ground! Miss Kim’s eyes widened! What power!
“Rarrgghhhhh!!!”
Rin shouted as she dragged the monster around before throwing it in the other direction. It slammed against a tree and slumped to the ground, but it quickly slithered back up while shaking its head to try getting back into the fight, but Rin didn’t let it rest! She ran up to it and grabbed its tail in her two hands before turning and swinging the entire thing around like a ragdoll!! She rolled it around for a while before she rose it up and whiplashed it into the ground! The head slammed into the earth and a loud crack echoed through the floor as its head broke on the solid ground!
Miss Kim was just speechless! This small woman just killed a monster that was twenty times her size! How is that possible!? Was this the sort of things they have been doing whenever they went out of the resturant? This is madness!
Rin didn’t even look shocked at all, instead, she had this pleased expression on her face. Like she just did something she already believed she could do. Was this normal for them!?
Rin looked towards Kim and gave her a thumbs up while smiling and Kim couldn’t stop herself from smiling too while giving a thumbs up. This should be enough food to last the restaurant for about two more months. She was glad that she came with her. It might be absolutely unbelievable but it was fun!
Miss Kim couldn’t get one thought out of her mind. If Rin was this powerful, then just what kind of power did Han have at his disposal? That man must be a monster!
Rin and Kim made their way back to the restaurant with the large monster hung over Rin’s shoulder.. Nobody was surprised by the giant snake over the tiny woman’s shoulder so Kim figured that it must’ve been a normal thing for these people since it was just the second floor it came from.
