Chapter 487 Exploding fury
Zhan Chen went towards the city gate after leaving the Lu clan's base. He easily sneaked out of the Grey ash city without alerting any guards.
He used the Ethereal cloud steps and dashed towards the distance. He stopped when he reached a certain location. Wu Yong was already waiting for him when he reached that place.
"Master", Wu Yong knelt immediately after seeing Zhan Chen. Zhan Chen stared towards him without any emotion in his eyes.
"Wu Yong, have you asked me before ingesting a healing pill?", Zhan Chen asked. Wu Yong shivered slightly when Zhan Chen's eyes fell on his healed fingers.
"Master, I am sorry. I couldn't bear the pain. So, I..."
"Break them again. Hopefully, your performance will entertain me properly", Zhan Chen cut short Wu Yong's sentence.
Wu Yong trembled uncontrollably after hearing Zhan Chen's words. He was really afraid of Zhan Chen now. Other experts may consider Zhan Chen as a tender youngster but he knew the real truth. According to him, even devils are not as scary as Zhan Chen alone.
"Master, please spare me", Wu Yong begged. His mind was about to collapse due to the fear he was feeling at this moment.
"Don't make me repeat myself. I have limited patience. If you can't do it, I will do it myself. But if I have to assist you, it will not be your fingers alone, that would be broke", Zhan Chen spoke.
Wu Yong's body shivered uncontrollably after he heard Zhan Chen's words. He felt like he had arrived in hell due to the sins he had committed in his life.
"Crack", he clenched his teeth and broke one of his fingers. The pain was so intense that tear came out from his eyes. Wu Yong looked towards Zhan Chen in hope of leniency but there was no emotion in Zhan Chen's eyes.
Wu Yong could only go on to break his second finger. He was pressing his teeth so much that blood started to come out from his gums but Zhan Chen remained emotionless. Not once in his mind, he has considered about forgiving Wu Yong. He knew, his fate may be worse if he had to fall in Wu Yong's hands. So, he watched emotionlessly as Wu Yong broke his fingers one by one.
"Okay, you can stop now. Let me check your memories", Zhan Chen spoke after Wu Yong broke all of his fingers. Tormenting him was never his main goal. His true priority lied in knowing the intention of the Wu clan. He wanted to see what malicious plans were directed at the Zhan clan or himself.
Wu Yong cooperated completely when Zhan Chen's soul consciousness invaded his mind. One by one all of his memories got seen by Zhan Chen.
"Bastards", Zhan Chen suddenly shouted furiously. A terrifying aura came out from his body which pervaded all the directions.
He continued to look at the memories of Wu Yong but the more he looked, more his fury was fuelled. He didn't notice that blood as seeping out from Wu Yong's nose and mouth. Wu Yong's body was trembling uncontrollably as he continued to soulsearch him.

"Hmm!", a perplexed expression appeared on Yang Yukong's face when he sensed a terrifying aura in the distance. He was in the middle of a discussion with Shui Liying and Ying Chao when his expression changed suddenly.
"Senior, is there any problem?", Ying Chao asked. His soul consciousness was not as strong as an emperor. So, he couldn't sense anything.
"Junior sister, have you noticed?", instead of replying to Ying Chao 's question, Yang Yukong looked towards Shui Liying.
"Yes", Shui Liying nodded her head with a grave expression. Never in her entire life, she had encountered such a terrifying aura.
"Senior brother, shall we take a look?", Shui Liying inquired. Yang Yukong didn't give her an answer immediately as he looked towards the direction where he sensed that aura.
"What is going on here?", Ying Chao murmured. He felt curious but he was sensible enough to not interrupt the conversation between two emperors.
"Let's take a look from the sky. But we shouldn't approach this aura. It will be foolish if we invite a calamity out of curiosity", Yang Yukong spoke. They were about to leave the Xuantian sect's base when that dangerous aura suddenly vanished. Both Yang Yukong and Shui Liying looked towards eachother with perplexed expression on their faces.
"Senior brother, what should we do? Should we alert senior Breeze walker?", Shui Liying inquired. A startled expression appeared on Ying Chao's face when he heard the name 'Breezewalker'.
The Xuantian sect had three known sages. Daoist Breeze walker, daoist Chilling moon and daoist Blaze wrath. The sage realm expert who was secretly protecting Xuantian sect's base was daoist Breeze walker. So, Ying Chao got startled when he heard the discussion between Yang Yukong and Shui Liying.
Generally, with his power, Yang Yukong could solve almost every problem in the Grey ash city. He also had Shui Liying beside him who herself was a late emperor realm expert. So, Ying Chao wondered what problem was actually there that Shui Liying was thinking about alerting a sage realm expert.
"If senior Breeze walker is nearby, he most have sensed it. If he is wondering around, we shouldn't bother him. The aura has vanished that is all we need to know. As long there is no threat to the Grey ash city, we don't need to involve ourselves. We can discuss about it when he meet senior Breeze walker again", Yang Yukong replied.
In the distance, Zhan Chen had no idea that he had startled both Yang Yukong and Shui Liying. He withdrew his aura after he finished the soulsearch with Wu Yong.
Wu Yong fainted right away after Zhan Chen finished his soul search. His body fell on the ground as he lost his consciousness.
Zhan Chen didn't bother about Wu Yong's condition. His mind was currently preoccupied with what he had learned from Wu Yong's memories.

Together all the major experts of the Wu clan were using those captured women as tools and tormenting them since then. The bastard, Wu Yong who was lying infront of him was also a participant. There was vivid memory in Wu Yong's mind, how he tormented few young girls from the Lin clan.
Lin clan was known as one of staunchest allies of the Zhan clan who had followed them through thick and thin. There was matrimonial relationship with Zhan clan and the Lin clan which they kept arranging generation after generation. Thus, the bond between the two clans were strengthened over the years.
"I, Zhan Chen, hereby vow that I will wipe the Wu clan from face of the earth. I will let you know what suffering actually is", Zhan Chen clenched his fists furiously. He had never imagined that a human would stoop so low in the name of revenge.
