"You don't have to speak for them. Their leader seems capable. So, I am going to offer her a position anyway", Zhan Chen replied. He looked towards the group from the Jade orchid pavilion after talking with Hu Yali.
"Senior, can I ask your name?", Zhan Chen cupped his hands towards the leader of the Jade orchid pavilion's group.
"I am Zheng Ying. You can call me elder sister Ying if you want", Zheng Ying smiled softly. She was quite pleased after seeing how humble and approachable Zhan Chen actually was.
"Elder sister Ying, are you willing to accept the position of a captain?", Zhan Chen inquired. He put away his humble expression and smiled towards Zheng Ying.
"Ofcourse. I wil do my best", Zheng Ying replied.
"Now, the selection of the fourth captain. I already have someone in mind. Although I don't know, she will accept my proposal", Zhan Chen murmured. He looked towards a secluded corner where a gorgeous woman was standing. She appeared to be the blend of both elegance and maturity. She was wearing a white coloured robe which enhanced her elegance altogether. When Zhan Chen looked towards her, the crowd's focus shifted towards the secluded corner where she was standing.
"Is not she sect leader Qian Shanni?"
"When did she arrive? I have never heard that her Lotus moon sect is going to join us", the cultivators in the crowd started to talk among themselves. From everyone's reaction, Zhan Chen could tell that she was a renowned figure among the present experts.
"Senior, we meet again. Your cultivation has increased since the last time we have seen eachother", Zhan Chen cupped his hands towards the beautiful woman. He had met her when he went to the Serpent moon sect to rescue Lin Xintong's daughter. It was a temporary collaboration but the beautiful sect leader had left a good impression in his mind.
"You can see my cultivation?", Qian Shanni felt surprised for a moment. She quickly hid her surprise and looked towards Zhan Chen.
"I was planning to join a different general. But, I happen to be outside the Grey ash city when you fought Wu Yong. Your improvement in these few months really give me a shock. Since, we are familiar with eachother, I have changed my mind", Qian Shanni spoke.
"Senior, you flatter me. I am honoured that you come to stand beside me", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Okay, no need to be polite infront of me. Are you giving me the position of a captain?", Qian Shanni asked with a calm expression on her face.
"Yes", Zhan Chen nodded his head. With her cultivation as a peak Heavenly tribulation realm expert, she was qualified to become a commander. As for captain's position, she was overly qualified. It was stroke of luck for him that she choose to join him.
"Fine, I accept. I will assemble ten squards under me as soon as possible", Qian Shanni spoke.
"It is time to select the fifth captain. Let's see who is more suitable", Zhan Chen spoke after he finished speaking with Qian Shanni. He looked around and examined the experts present in the crowd.
A burly looking elder who was standing with few other Xuantian sect's elders grabbed his attention. From the symbol on his robe, he could tell that the elder was from the Martial peak of the Xuantian sect.
"Senior, may I ask your name?", Zhan Chen cupped his hands towards the Martial peak's elder.
"Little brother, my name is Hu Wei", the burly looking elder replied. His voice was slightly stiff but he tried to be as amiable as possible.
"Senior, are you willing to be a captain?", Zhan Chen asked.
"Yes, I am willing", Hu wei replied. Unlike others, his voice was solemn when he replied to Zhan Chen.
"Now, we have our five captains. Any senior who wishes to join the captains, may join them.
No one below late Heavenly tribulation realm is allowed to act independent. As for the late tribulation realm seniors, they may act independently. But they have to listen to my arrangement", Zhan Chen spoke.

"I know, there is no legitimate post like a vice commander. But I think, I need one who can take care of day to day things when I am busy. I want everyone to support the vice captain when he gives commands in my absence", he further added.
"Little brother Chen, do you have someone in mind?", an amiable looking elder asked.
"Yes, I want to appoint elder Lu Tai Cang as the vice commander", Zhan Chen spoke. He looked towards the Lu clan's group with a smile on his face.
Lu Tai Cang smiled helplessly when he saw everyone in the crowd looking towards him. He knew he couldn't decline as it was an opportunity for their Lu clan. Their emperor wished to got closer with Zhan Chen. So, he had no choice but to accept the tedious task from Zhan Chen.
"Everyone, you only have few hours to take a decision. Each captain need to assemble ten squards under their command. Please do you best to organise your troops. We will meet again in the morning", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Senior sister Lingyi, you don't have to follow a captain if you don't wish to do so. You can act independently in the upcoming battles. I will support you and those following you no matter what decision you take", Zhan Chen sent a voice transmission to Jia Lingyi before leaving the place.
