450 Casualty
Zhan Chen shifted his facial structure back to normal after he reached closer to the Xuantian sect's base. He met a gathering of the elders in the ground floor when he was planning to look for Shui Liying.
"Zhan Chen, wait. Sect master is looking for you", Ying Chao called out to him.
An idea popped up in Zhan Chen's mind after he heard Ying Chao's words. "Greetings elders. I am really in a hurry at the moment. I have something urgent to discuss with senior Liying. Please tell elder sister Yue to wait or see me in senior Liying 's room", Zhan Chen spoke. He didn't bother to hear the response of the elders as he climbed to the first floor where Shui Liying was staying.
"This brat! Has he not heard about Lu Wentian's challenge?", an elder muttered.
"Probably not. Let's inform sect master about his return. We must stop him from accepting Lu Wentian's challenge", Ying Chao spoke. Other elders nodded their heads as they waited for Deng Yue's return.
Shui Liying opened the door of her room before Zhan Chen could knock. She had already sensed his presence as soon as he entered the Xuantian sect's base.
"Husband, why don't you wait a little for Deng Yue's return. We really need to discuss this matter because it is related to your safety", Shui Liying spoke after Zhan Chen entered inside.
"Liying, sect elders don't know about my cultivation but you are already aware. Do you think, there is a chance for Lu Wentian to defeat me?", Zhan Chen asked.
"If it is any ordinary challenge, I wouldn't have felt worried but this Lu Wentian is set on taking revenge from you. I have listened to the conversation between the elders and found out that you have killed his younger brother. In such a case, I am worried that the Heavenly sword sect will pull out some dirty tricks on you", Shui Liying replied. There was concern written all over her face as she looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Don't worry. No trick can kill me in such a duel. I can be caught off-guard if they use their emperors and sages. But such a scenario probably will not occure because the diel will take place inside the Jade Harmony city", Zhan Chen spoke.
"I will accompany you to the battle arena", Shui Liying spoke.
"Of course, who else can protect me better than my lovely Liying", Zhan Chen spoke. Shui Liying's face became slightly reddened after she heard Zhan Chen's words. She was still worried about Zhan Chen but Zhan Chen's action made her blush.
Zhan Chen didn't want to wait anymore as he started to remove his clothes. "Liying, let's start where we have left. I have yet to punish you for your disobedience in the forest", Zhan Chen spoke.
Shui Liying felt a stirring in between her thighs as she saw the eager expression on Zhan Chen's face. A sense of anticipation rose in her heart as she looked towards Zhan Chen. "Husband, how are you planning to punish me?", she asked softly.
She was not a woman with whom Zhan Chen could get rough. She had a very gentle demeanor which discouraged Zhan Chen from doing anything inappropriate with her. But now he had a chance.
"Although I can't go too far with her. I want her to remain the goddess as she is. To get rough, I can always approach Xie Lanying. I am sure, that vixen will accomodate whatever I need. It will not feel inappropriate no matter what I do with her", Zhan Chen thought to himself. He decided to keep the thoughts about Xie Lanying in the back of his mind as there was a goddess standing before him who needed to be taken care of.
"Liying, you are not allowed to disobey me today", Zhan Chen spoke with a serious expression on his face.
"Okay", Shui Liying nodded her head softly. Her anticipation rose greatly as Zhan Chen walked towards her.
Zhan Chen cupped her face with both of his hands and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. Then he made her kneel and presented his dragon infront of her face.
"You know, what to do right?", Zhan Chen looked towards Shui Liying. Shui Liyining nodded her head and brought her mouth closer to Zhan Chen's dragon. She licked the tip of his dragon with her tongue first before taking in the dragon inside her mouth.
"Slurp, slurp", she started to move her head forth and back as a look of enjoyment appeared on Zhan Chen's face. She was completely patient as she used her mouth to please Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen stopped her after she used her mouth for half an hour. He couldn't beleive how patient she was to make him feel good. There was only care and unconditional love in her heart as she took care of him.
'Forget about punishment. I can't even use a harsh word to you', Zhan Chen thought to himself. His heart almost melted as he saw the caring expression in her eyes.
"Husband, what else you want me to do? You can ask me anything as a punishment", she looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Although tending to your need don't feel like punishment. It is only natural that I will do this for you to make you feel good", Shui Liying muttered. She wrapped her hand around Zhan Chen's dragon and started to stroke it as she waited for Zhan Chen's response.
"Liying, you are really good to me. Even I am confused what assignment should I give you as a punishment", Zhan Chen spoke. The words were really from his heart as he was really moved by Shui Liying's care and love.
"Husband, how about you lie down? Let me do all the work myself. I will be happy as long as you are comfortable and enjoying ", Shui Liying spoke. She kept stroking Zhan Chen's dragon while having a conversation with him.
"Okay. I really enjoy it when my Liying take such good care of me", Zhan Chen spoke. He pulled her up and shared another passionate kiss with Shui Liying.

"Sect master, you are back", the elders greeted Deng Yue after she returned to the Xuantian sect's base.
"The situation in the frontline is not promising at all. They have made some concession to our sect because of our earlier loss. But now due to the situation, they can't give us anymore leeway", Deng Yue spoke.
"Sect master, what happened? Have we suffer loses while confronting devils?", Ying Chao asked.
"We have lost three tribulation realm, fourteen Martial ascension realm cultivators in these days. Now tell me whether it is a great lose or not?", Deng Yue spoke.
A grave expression appeared on all the elders' faces after they heard Deng Yue's words. The number of cultivators that Sky dragon alliance had lost may not look high but it was alarming when you considered the short time span of two days. In just two days, devil forces had managed to kill three tribulation realm and fourteen Martial ascension realm cultivators of the Sky dragon alliance.
"While devils are coming from multiple worlds, our forces are gathered from only a continent. We are confronting the forces of few worlds with the forces of a single continent. Their numerical advantage is already very superior to us. In such a scenario if we lose our cultivators in such a rate, we may face defeat within a month", Ying Chao spoke with a grim expression on his face.
"That is the most conservative estimation. If the devil forces who are fighting separately get united, we may face defeat at a faster pace", Deng Yue added.
"Sect master, is their any countermeasures proposed in your meeting?", a bald elder asked.
"Yes, the spirit palace and the imperial Xie family has promised to send their reserve forces to the frontline. Moreover, they are contacting our surrounding worlds to assist us.
Likewise, other major forces have to send in more men to the frontline. We have to summon one more emperor and five more tribulation realm experts from our sect", Deng Yue replied.
"Most of you have to go to the frontline as well. They are unwilling to provide our sect cultivators anymore rest", she further added.
"Sect master, we have three commanders under you. Two commanders are already fighting in the frontline. As for the last commander, we have yet to select", Ying Chao spoke.
"You can't go. I need you here in the Jade harmony city. Therefore, we need to select another candidate. We still have time untill tomorrow. Let me think about it", Deng Yue spoke.
"Has Zhan Chen returned?", she was about to leave towards her room when she recalled the matter concerning Zhan Chen.
"Yes, he has gone to senior Liying 's room after getting back", Ying Chao informed.
"Okay, I will see him there. I need to inform martial aunt Liying as well. I need to talk to her about what transpired in today's meeting", Deng Yue spoke. She flew towards the first floor after finishing her conversation with the gathered elders.
