"How can this be?", Huang Mei exclaimed after taking out a pill that Zhan Chen had concocted. The pill had a round and smooth structure which was the characteristic of a peak fourth grade pill.
A peak fourth grade pill was astonishing enough but what caught the attention of Huang Mei was the vein like patterns on the surface of the Crimson cloud pill. She took out the other three pills and observed the vein like patterns on each pills's surface.
"Are these pill veins?", she murmured to herself in surprise. She had come across pills with pill veins only few times in her life. Such pills were so rare that, even alchemy emperors would fight for them. Yet, such a marvel occured right before her, an eighteen year old tender young man able to concoct pills with pill veins right infront of her eyes.
She observed the pills in her hand for half an hour. Any such pill would infatuate alchemists and she was no exception. "Junior sister, what should I do? I have really messed up this time", she looked towards Shui Liying.
"Senior sister, shall we check your pills?", Shui Liying asked.
"No need. I am not yet capable enough to concoct pills with pill veins", Huang Mei bluntly admitted her inferiority.
"Junior sister, I have yet to tell you the conditions of this alchemy competetion. I have never considered the chance of me losing. So, I have accepted an outrageous demand of Zhan Chen", she further added.
"Senior sister, I can understand your dilemma. You have probably accepted to be Zhan Chen's woman incase you lose. Am I right?", Shui Liying looked towards Huang Mei.
"Not exactly his woman but something similar to that. Tell me, how did you guess? Has that brat told something to you?", Huang Mei looked towards Shui Liying with a suspicious expression.
"No, he has never discussed about this alchemy contest with me. I can guess because I can understand few of his deeds", Shui Liying spoke softly.
"Is that brat really going to demand my first night?", Huang Mei asked.
"Senior sister, are you nervous?", Shui Liying asked.
"Why would I? It is only that I have never thought, I would lose to him", Huang Mei retorted. She was clearly in a dilemma after being defeated.
"Senior sister, if he can be stopped, I would have stopped him from accepting another woman. But it is a fact that no woman alone can satisfy his need", Shui Liying spoke.
"What are you ....?", Huang Mei looked towards Shui Liying in a dumbfounded expression after hearing her words. In their long years of association, she had never heard such ambiguous words from Shui Liying.
"Senior sister, I have yet to tell you. But I have already accepted him as my husband. To tell you the truth, he did tricked me. But he was completely honest. It is me who couldn't stop thinking about him. So, I approached him and he was happy to have me as his woman", Shui Liying spoke. She and Huang Mei was closer like two sisters. So, she thought it would be appropriate to tell her the truth.
"Senior sister, please keep my relationship with him a secret. I don't want to cause any trouble for him", she looked towards Huang Mei.

"He has returned", Huang Mei commented after sensing the presence of Zhan Chen in Serene Bamboo peak. Inwardly, she was very nervous regarding what was about to happen.
"Seniors, have you decided the result?", Zhan Chen asked after stroding into Shui Liying's personal peak.
"Husband, you can stop calling me senior in her presence. I have already told about our relationship to her", Shui Liying spoke.
"Okay, I will not be so formal then", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Senior, can you give me an answer? What do you think about the result of our competition?", Zhan Chen looked towards Huang Mei.
"You have tricked me. But this is no excuse. I am ready to share my first night with you", Huang Mei spoke. Inwardly, she was nervous but she put up a brave front infront of Zhan Chen.
"Thanks very much. Let me write the pill recipe of the Five harmony soul resurgence pill for you", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Do you have a spirit scroll?", he looked towards Huang Mei. Huang Mei felt startled by what she had heard. Zhan Chen was still going to give her the pill recipe even after she had lost.
She took out a spirit scroll from her spatial ring and handed it to Zhan Chen. Zhan Chen infused his essence energy inside the spirit scroll and wrote down the pill formula of Five harmony soul resurgence pill.
"Check it. Tell me if you don't understand anything", Zhan Chen spoke.
Huang Mei felt surprised after seeing the generosity of Zhan Chen. A current of warmth surged in her heart after she heard Zhan Chen's words. She took a look at the pill formula and a look of contemplation appeared in her eyes.
"Zhan Chen, thank you", she raised her head after a while and thanked Zhan Chen. "No problem, you are willing to give your first time to me. So, this is the least I can give you", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Are you two willing to visit my humble abode? I wish to spend my day together with both of you", he looked towards Shui Liying and Huang Mei.
"Together?", both Shui Liying and Huang Mei blushed immediately. They looked towards eachother and their faces flushed red.
Zhan Chen could feel that Shui Liying had an inherent rejection towards being seen by other woman. She was naturally a proud and aloof emperor. It was normal for her to have such standard.
"You two probably misunderstood me. I only meant to show both of you my personal mountain. We can decide our next course of action after reaching there", Zhan Chen clarified.
Both the beauties took a sigh of relief in their hearts and followed behind Zhan Chen. They stopped after reaching near the cave complex of Zhan Chen.
"What are these three doing?", Zhan Chen murmured. He found Li Shu, Li Yan and Kai Min getting busy outside the cave complex. They had cleared a patch of forest and planting flower saplings on the cleared surface. He saw the Shadow panther as well. It was cultivating on top of a gigantic tree.
The Shadow panther was the first to sense Zhan Chen's arrival. It leapt towards the ground and scurried forward to greet Zhan Chen.
Both Shui Liying and Huang Mei felt curious after seeing the nimble creature approaching Zhan Chen. The Shadow panther scurried forward to greet Zhan Chen but it stopped in the midway after sensing two powerful auras around Zhan Chen. A look of caution appeared in it's eyes as it took a look towards both Shui Liying and Huang Mei.
"Don't worry. They will not harm you", Zhan Chen assured the shadow panther with his soul link.
