Zhan Chen felt several soul consciousness spying on him when he was fighting with the tall young man. He pretended like he didn't notice anything as he walked towards the main hall of the City lord's palace.
There were total seven person inside the main hall. Each of them had an imposing aura as they sat inside the main hall. Zhan Chen knew three of them as they were from the Xuantian sect. But other four persons were completely unknown to him.
All the seven experts looked towards him as soon as he entered the main hall. Any ordinary disciple would have felt nervous if seven emperors looked towards him at once but Zhan Chen didn't feel nervous at all. He had a calm and collected expression on his face as he looked towards all the seven emperors.
"Zhan Chen, how is your mission? Have you got the Five harmony soul resurgence pill?", Shui Liying asked.
"Greetings seniors. Fortunately, I have managed to complete my mission successfully", Zhan Chen spoke. He gave a bow to each emperor and everyone nodded towards him in response.
"Zhan Chen, take out the pill. Let us see how the ancient pill looks like", an emperor spoke. Zhan Chen felt a dilemma all of a sudden as the Five harmony soul resurgence pill was freshly concocted. He had claimed that the Five harmony soul resurgence pill was found from a relics but the emperors would be found out the truth if he takes out the pill. He didn't want to fall prey to his own net of lies. So, he quick thought about a solution.
"Senior, excuse me. I can't take out the pill right now. There is a stringent condition for the Five harmony soul resurgence pill. We need to give the pill to senior Tao as soon as it is unsealed. Otherwise, the efficacy of the pill will be reduced as soon we expose it to the environment ", Zhan Chen spoke. He had a calm expression on his face despite the fact that he was blabbering complete lies.
"Is there such a condition?", the emperor exclaimed with a doubtful expression on his face. Other emperors also had confused expression as they didn't know much regarding the Five harmony soul resurgence pill.
"Well, there may be some truth in his words. We can't take a risk now. I am bringing him to see brother Tao", Shui Liying spoke. Other emperors nodded their heads as what she was seeing was completely reasonable. Compared to their curiousity, the health of Hu Tao was much more important.

Zhan Chen let her support his body as he flew along with Shui Liying. Both of them flew towards a different location in the palace where Hu Tao and the peak master of the Earth sect were being taken care of.
There was a large room at the end of a distant corridor where Hu Tao was resting. Zhan Chen was surprised to see a bewitching woman channeling wood essence energy to Hu Tao's body.
"Liying, you are back already?", the bewitching woman looked towards Shui Liying and Zhan Chen. She had a little curiousity as she found Zhan Chen travelling with Shui Liying. It was a surprise for her because she knew how much Shui Liying hate men.
"Big sis Mei, he is the one I am talking about. He possesses a good talent in alchemy", Shui Liying spoke.
"Greetings senior", Zhan Chen immediately bowed towards the bewitching woman. This time the greetings was from his heart as he was really bought over by the charm of the bewitching woman infront of him. The woman was almost like a treasure. She didn't possess beauty like Shui Liying neither she had Grace like a goddess but her natural gifts and curves were enough to attract any men in the planet.
"Zhan Chen, she is elder sister Huang Mei from the Huang clan. She and I was taught together by my master when she was studying in the Xuantian sect", Shui Liying introduced the bewitching woman. Her easygoing demeanor around Zhan Chen was a surprise for Huang Mei as she felt more curious about Zhan Chen. She had never thought that her ice cold junior sister would be so comfortable around a young man.
"Your name is Zhan Chen, am I right?", Huang Mei asked with a smile on his face. Zhan Chen felt her charm was city toppling as she smiled towards him.
"Yes senior, I am Zhan Chen, a disciple of the Xuantian sect", Zhan Chen replied suavely. He took a look towards Huang Mei's assets but his action was so natural that it didn't bother Huang Mei.
"Big sis, he has brought the Five harmony soul resurgence pill. If the pill is so amazing as it described in record, then it may save brother Tao from near death condition", Shui Liying spoke.
"Oh, there is actually such an idiot in the world. Someone actually exchanged a pill like Five harmony soul resurgence pill for some meagerly treasures", Huang Mei mused. She stretched out her hand and looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Hand over the pill", she spoke with a bossy attitude. Zhan Chen would have feel offended if there was some men in place of her but her attitude was quite matching to her charm. Zhan Chen removed the pill bottle from his spatial ring and handed it over to Huang Mei.
"Big sis, be careful. There is a condition to use this pill. We need to feed this directly to brother Tao without exposing it to the environment. If we take time to examine it, the pill may lose its efficacy", Shui Liying warned
"Oh, there is such a thing? Where did you learned it?", Huang Mei asked. Zhan Chen felt a little tense as his cover may be blown off at any moment. But he was not much bothered, he was completely ready to confront an emperor even if he receives some injury in his physical body.
"Big sis, I can explain you later. Let's feed this pill to brother Tao first. We can't take a gamble here as brother Tao's life is at stake", Shui Liying spoke with a calm expression on her face. She knew the character of her elder sister. How curious and doubtful she was. She felt worried that the pill may be damaged if Huang Mei took an interest towards the pill.
"Fine, let's feed him the pill first", Huang Mei conceded. She opened up the pill bottle and placed the pill immediately inside Hu Tao's mouth. It was only a brief moment but the pill fragrance was enough to entice both Shui Liying and Huang Mei.
"Such a nice fragrance", Huang Mei spoke with an intoxicating expression after inhaling deeply. Compared to her, Shui Liying was calmer but she also inhaled a little to take in the intoxicating aroma of the Five harmony soul resurgence pill.
