Zhan Chen took a brief rest to restore his soul power and spirit. His soul was already at the peak of sage realm but his body was still limited to his cultivation level. So, it was quite a burden for him to exert soul power exceeding the limit of the Heavenly tribulation realm.

"Halt", an armoured guard shouted. His eyes were stern as he looked towards him. "Brat, where are you from?", the armoured guard asked.
"I am a disciple of the Xuantian sect. I am here to meet my seniors. Is it possible to open the gate?", Zhan Chen asked politely. He took out his identification token and saw it to the guards.
"Wait here. Someone from the Xuantian sect will come to inspect your token. If you are truly a Xuantian sect disciple, you will be given entry. Otherwise, you know, what future awaits you", the guard spoke.
"I will wait", Zhan Chen spoke calmly. The armoured guard nodded his head and looked towards one of his companion. His companion hurried into the city after taking a look towards Zhan Chen.
The armoured guard returned after few minutes of time. He had invited a bald middle-aged man who was wearing a pristine white robe. Zhan Chen immediately identified the middle-aged man from his robe. He was an outer court elder of the Xuantian sect.
"Young man, let me check your token", the bald middle-aged man spoke. He was neither servile neither dominnering as he talked with Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen took out his token and sent it flying towards the middle aged man. The middle aged man's eyes widened after he saw Zhan Chen's identity token.
"Young master Chen, forgive me. I didn't know that you have returned", the middle aged man spoke with an apologetic look on his face. The armoured guards ft curious after listening the words of the bald elder.
"It is not your fault. Now let me pass. I have to go look for senior Liying", Zhan Chen spoke. He collected his identity token from the middle aged man and entered the city gate. He used the Cloud soaring technique after passing through the securities arranged near the gate.
"Elder Kui, who is this young man? I have never saw you being so respectful towards a junior?", an armoured guard asked. His companions also felt curious as they looked towards the middle aged man.
"Have you heard of the emerging prodigee of my sect who single-handedly slaughtered devils at the first day of the battle?", the middle aged man looked towards the armoured guards.
"Are you talking about Zhan Chen?", an armoured guard chimed in.
"Exactly, this young man is Zhan Chen. It is an important piece of news. I need to inform elder Chao", the middle aged bald man spoke. He hurried into the Yellow stone city after talking with the armoured guards.
"There are quite a lot of new faces! Seems like few other powers decided to send their experts", Zhan Chen thought to himself.
He kept moving like a shadow and stopped after reaching the palace of the city lord. He strode into the city lord's palace but an attack came crashing towards him as soon as he entered the city lord's palace.
It was an energy palm which approached him at a breathtaking speed. The path ahead was narrow. So, he had no place to dodge. Zhan Chen's eyes became cold as he cut open the energy palm with his sword energy.
"Hmm!", a voice of surprise came from the air. A tall young man appeared and looked towards Zhan Chen with bewilderment on his face.
"Punk, who are you? How dare you enter a place where the esteemed emperors are taking rest?", the tall young man spoke. He didn't wait for Zhan Chen to reply and launched another attack towards Zhan Chen.
A cold glint appeared in Zhan Chen's eyes as he took out a sword. He channeled his essence energy and cut open another energy palm that the young man launched towards him.
"You really think too highly of yourself. In my entire life, I have always hated annoying persons like you", Zhan Chen spoke. He swung his sword vertically and a long slash went towards the young man floating in the mid air.
The young man brought forward his hands to mount a defence attack. He could only materialize a palm before the sword slash of Zhan Chen approached him.
"Enough!", suddenly a voice rang in the pathway. An imposing expert appeared in the mid air and stopped the attack from Zhan Chen. There was an indecernible expression on his face as he shifted his gaze towards Zhan Chen.
"Greetings senior", Zhan Chen bowed his head slightly. Inwardly, he was sneering after seeing the mighty act of the emperor.
"Li Kai, let's leave. I have already talked with senior Deming. He has accepted our offer. So, there is no need to linger in this Yellow stone city", the emperor spoke. He brought the tall young man with him and flew out of the city lord's palace.
Both the emperor and the tall young man didn't stop after leaving the city lord's palace. They flew out from the Yellow stone city and stopped only after pulling a distance from the Yellow stone city.
"Master, you should have taught that punk a lesson. That bastard seems unpleasant to my eyes", the tall young man spoke. He had an indignant expression on his face as he looked towards the emperor.
"Li Kai, have some patience. I have always warned you to not underestimate the disciples from the three big sects", the emperor spoke.

I can't stop thinking about them after seeing them in the Dragon province", the tall young man spoke. He was initially a good looking dashing young man but now his appearance seemed evil and twisted. The most peculiar fact was the expression on the emperor's face. He didn't seem to mind his disciple's behaviour rather he had an indulgant and affectionate expression on his face as he looked towards the tall young man.
