"Hey, have you sensed something?", a guard at the entrance of the Xuantian sect asked to his companion. His companion shook his head as a look of confusion appeared on his face. "Brother Hao, what is the matter?", he questioned his fellow guard.
"I feel like someone passed amist us but it might be a fluke. Regardless, we need to maintain a close watch on the sect gate", the guard who was suspicious of someone's movement spoke to his companion. He didn't know that his guess was right as Zhan Chen had passed between them just moments ago.
Zhan Chen kept using his Cloud soaring technique and dashed towards the distance. He was moving at a constant speed and approached a dense forest after half an hour. He dashed into the dense forest without any hesitation and his figure seemed to be vanished inside the dense canopy of the forest.
Two figures appeared outside the forest few moments later. There was a frown on one of their faces as he looked towards the dense forest infront of him. "Senior sister Jiuyue, where is that brat? Has he managed to sense us?", the tall looking young man looked towards the beautiful lady beside her.
Compared to his disturbed expression, the lady was completely calm and collected. "We should look inside the forest. I can't beleive a Core condensation realm young man like him can hide from both of us", the lady spoke. She flew into the forest and her figure vanished into thin air. 'I will teach that brat a lesson if I get an opportunity', the dashing young man thought to himself before flying into the forest. His figure faded into nothingness after he entered the forest.
Both the beautiful lady and the dashing young man searched for half an hour yet they couldn't find Zhan Chen. Finally, both of them flew out of the dense forest.
"Senior sister, it looks like we lost him", the dashing young man spoke with a grim expression on his face. "Seems so. I have never thought that the newly added Core disciple will be so difficult to deal with", the beautiful lady commented.

He removed the 'Heart of purewood Oak tree' from his spatial ring and wrapped it with his soul consciousness. The Heart of purewood Oak tree leviated infront of him as he started to refine it with his soul fire. He still had his earth grade pill furnace which he had received from the Alchemy association but he didn't choose to use it because it couldn't assist him in concocting a grade seclven pill. Only a heaven grade pill furnace or a top tier sky furnace could be used for concocting a seventh grade pill. Moreover, pill furnaces were notalways useful while concocting some specific pills. Five harmony soul resurgence pill was such a case where an alchemist had to use special means to concoct it.
The heart of Purewood Oak tree liquefied slowly after receiving constant heat from the soul fire of Zhan Chen. It took half an hour for Zhan Chen to completely refine it.
He wrapped the translucent liquid with his soul consciousness and removed other four types of spirit materials representing four heavenly elements of nature. Heart of the purewood Oak tree represented wood element. Likewise, Luminescent flame stone represented fire element. Aquastone from the Western seas represents water element. As for the Earthroot crystal and the Galewind feather, they represented earth element and wind element respectively.
Zhan Chen wrapped his soul consciousness around all four spirit materials and they leviated in the air. He pulled them closer to the essence of Purewood heart tree and lit up his soul fire once again.
Beads of sweat appeared on Zhan Chen's soul consciousness as he continued to pour his soul energy into his soul fire. His soul fire seemed gentle but it continued to affect the four spirit elements surrounding the essence of Purewood Oak tree.
Strands of elemental power comes from the four spirit elements and Zhan Chen continued to assimilate them with the heart of Purewood Oak tree. The process was tedious but Zhan Chen continued to put in effort. His soul fire burned continuously which made him more exhausted with passing time.
What Zhan Chen doing was a too delicate procedure. No alchemist in the Northern desert continent would beleive it unless they witnessed such a miraculous concocting technique with their own eyes. What Zhan Chen doing was the epitome of balance and control. Even a little bit of disturbance during such procedure would ruin his entire effort. Zhan Chen didn't have a choice in this matter. So, he chose the wilds to concoct the pill. It took almost two hours before the spirit elements started to crumble.
Zhan Chen stopped burning his soul fire and looked towards glowing mass of energy sphere infront of him. He was wrapping the sphere with his soul consciousness. Otherwise, it would start to leak the elemental energy concentrated within it.
"The next step is most difficult. Let's see if I can make a resonance with the heaven and earth or not", Zhan Chen thought to himself. He closed his eyes and tried to communicate with the heaven and earth.
To his delight, he was able to make a resonance with the heaven and earth almost immediately after he closed his eyes. The process was so smooth that he couldn't beleive it. Strands of multicoloured lights appeared in his soul consciousness and Zhan Chen immediately identified which strands represented the five heavenly elements. He tried to pull the strands towards the energy sphere leviating infront of him and the strands of five elements actually adhered to his coercion.
Zhan Chen separated three strands each from the colourful lights and guided them towards the energy sphere. His attempt was successful in his first try and he guided the elemental strands towards the energy sphere.
Heavenly lightning appeared in the sky above the rocky hill as soon as Zhan Chen assimilated the elemental strands into the energy sphere. He was not bothered by the lightning and burned his soul fire again. The energy sphere along with the elemental strands got purified by his soul fire and started to condense. A round pellet at the shape of a small fist materialized after half an hour of soul refining. Zhan Chen continued to put his soul energy and the round pill continued to decrease in size. The pill concoction was at it's last leg when a heavenly lighting fell upon the stone cave where Zhan Chen was concocting his pill.
Others might be intimidated but Zhan Chen was not. He himself flew out of his stone cave and exposed the pill to the pill tribulation. His soul fire was still burning as he continued to refine the newly emerged pill. A blue lightning fell on the round shaped pill squarely as Zhan Chen was refining it with his soul fire. The lightning surprisingly didn't harm Zhan Chen rather it targeted only the round pill. Smoke started to appear from the pill but Zhan Chen was unconcerned. Suddenly a multicoloured flow appeared from the pill as the smoke dissipated into the thin air. The pill was completely translucent and glowing brilliantly with a five coloured glow. It immediately shut towards the distance after the effect of lightning wean off.
"Success", Zhan Chen muttered to himself with a smile. He spread his soul consciousness and caught the rebelling pill effortlessly. A seventh grade pill was born and it was the birth of a pill emperor in the Northern desert continent. Lightning cackled in the sky above the rocky hill but it didn't send down another lightning to strike Zhan Chen's pill. Zhan Chen was unconcerned as he took out a jade container to store the seventh grade pill.
