"Peak master of the Serene bamboo peak is quite first. It has been only an hour. Yet she had already arrived and checked on the condition of senior Tao", Zhan Chen spoke. He was pounding Lan Yueyue while keeping an eye on the outside.

"Yueyue, good bye. We will meet after you return from your Lan family", Zhan Chen spoke. He pulled her up and planted an agressive kiss on her lips. Lan Yueyue felt slightly hesitant as she saw Zhan Chen walking out from the mansion.
"We will meet soon", she murmured after Zhan Chen left the palace.
"Zhan Chen, where have you gone to? We have been looking for you", the peak master of the Earth peak grumbled. Fu Deming also had a questioning gaze as he couldn't understand, where Zhan Chen had run off to in such a short period.

She gave a slight nod of acknowledgement in response.

Zhan Chen sensed spiritual fluctuation as soon as he walked out of city lord's palace. He gazed towards the distant corner from where the spiritual fluctuation coming in.
"Imperial family is quite forthright this time. They have sent some good formation materials to build a defence for the Yellow stone city", Shui Liying murmured. It seemed like she was talking to herself but Zhan Chen knew she explained for him.
"Thank you senior", Zhan Chen spoke respectfully. Shui Liying nodded her head indifferently before walking towards the distance.
"Senior, where are we going?", Zhan Chen inquired.
"We are going to pick my little disciple before leaving for the Xuantian sect", she replied. Zhan Chen could see that she was quite reluctant to offer him an explanation.
'I can understand why she is against any relationship. She seems to have some prejudice towards the male cultivators', Zhan Chen thought to himself. He was referring to his relationship with Zi Ningxi which was unwelcomed by Shui Liying.
