"Young master Chen, please don't be reckless. I will be waiting for you inside the Yellow stone city", Zi Ningxi spoke. Her body was still sensitive because of all the sweet things she had done with Zhan Chen. She wanted some more time but unfortunately the battle had began once again.
"Princess, don't worry. I will be safe as long as I am not facing a consummate expert", Zhan Chen replied. He planted a good bye kiss on Zi Ningxi's lips and walked out of the stone house.
Inside the city wall, the Xuantian sect cultivators were completely ready. There was another group of cultivators who had come to fight the devils.
Zhan Chen asked around and found they were from the Lee clan. They were a first rate clan of the Earth province. They had good relationship with the Xuantian sect since hundreds of years. So, they had come to assist the sect during the moment of danger.

"Zhan Chen, your previous idea was correct. We should have attacked with all of our might and slaughtered these devils. Unfortunately, we held back and the situation is very drastic now", Ying Chao spoke.
Other elders also looked towards Zhan Chen as they were really interested to hear the opinion of Zhan Chen. Previously, they considered him someone from the junior generation. He was talented but he couldn't sway their opinion.
The battle in the Yellow stone city changed their attitude towards Zhan Chen. His performance came as a shock to them as Zhan Chen had killed approximately hundred Core condensation realm devils in few hours. Even, Martial ascension realm cultivators had struggled against their opponents but Zhan Chen didn't. He single-handedly slaughtered devils as if they were mere chickens.
He was only eighteen year old at this moment. So, the elders could not even imagine, how far he would grow in the future. At the least, he would become an emperor. So, the elders view Zhan Chen as someone important for the sect.

He was the true leader of the Xuantian group who was hiding at the moment.
"Everyone, senior Deming has spoken now. He wants us to follow Zhan Chen's plan", he spoke to all the elders present.
"How can this be?", an elder murmured. He was against the idea that Zhan Chen had proposed.
"Let's try out what Zhan Chen is suggesting. If it fails, we can always fall back inside the city and think about another plan. Moreover, imperial family can't ignore the condition much longer", another elder spoke.
"Then it is decided", Ying Chao looked towards other elders. Everyone nodded their heads. Few of them were doubtful about the success of the plan but they still agreed because of Fu Deming's order.
"Zhan Chen, you will lead a group. You are no longeer allowed to act alone. It will be too risky if you fall into an ambush", Ying Chao spoke.
"Senior, as you wish", Zhan Chen replied. Inwardly, he was rejoicing because they would divide the devils into various groups. That would give him more freedom to target the tribulation realm experts of the devil army.
Ying Chao waved his hand and Zhan Chen was sent downward. He walked towards Lan Yueyue after talking with the Xuantian sect elders.
"City lord, have you recovered?", he asked Lan Yueyue. There was many cultivators present nearby. So, he behaved as formal as possible while talking with Lan Yueyue.
"Yes, I have recovered. What are you discussing with the elders?", Lan Yueyue asked.
"We are talking about dividing our force. In short, all the cultivators will be divided into various groups. Out strategy will be to divide the forces of devils and force them to fight us after getting separated. Zhan Chen was given the charge of one of the ten groups and he accepted the responsibility. He took Lan Yueyue with him and together they walked towards the group assigned to Zhan Chen.
