From the spatial crack emerged a being so ominous and terrifying, that the mere sight of him was enough to send chills down the spine of any cultivator of the Yellow Stone City. It was a powerful devil, one of the tribulation realm expert from the shadow planets.
His appearance was extremely terrifying, more ominous looking than other devils who had emerged. He stood tall, towering over other devils with his muscular and imposing frame.
His skin was a dark shade of red, with black veins running across it like rivers of shadow. His eyes glowed with a fiery intensity, as if they could burn through anything that dared to look into them.
"Lord Tianzun", the devils who were surrounding the spatial crack knelt immediately after seeing the towering devil infront of them. There was reverence and respect in their eyes as they looked towards the imposing looking devil.
"Yan Luo, you have done a meritorious service. I am sure, emperor will award you and your Yan clan after we go back to our Abhorst empire", the imposing looking devil spoke. His eyes were on the young looking devil who had sent the multicoloured orb into the spatial crack.
"Lord Tianzun, it is out clan's fortune that we are able to contribute in this battle. I need Lord's permission to slaughter these vile humans infront of us", the young devil spoke. His eyes were signing with a peculiar light as he looked towards the imposing looking devil infront of him.
"Wait a little. This planet of humans is trashy but we need to be careful. We are not yet capable to invite our emperor realm experts from our empire", Lord Tianzun spoke.
His eyes glimmered with maliciousness as he threw a look towards the Yellow stone city. "These trifling humans are nothing much. There is not a single emperor among these humans", he spoke slowly with a fear inducing voice.
"Yan Luo, go back to our empire. Entice the devil plants to enter the spatial crack. We need many devil plants. So that, we can corrode the heaven and earth and turn this planet into another shadow planet under our Abhorst empire", Lord Tianzun ordered.
Lan Yueyue felt an indescribable danger when she looked towards the devil who had recently emerged. She clenched her sword tightly and looked towards the gathered of devils with a nervous expression on her face.
"What are these?", the cultivators of the Yellow stone city exclaimed after seeing some demonic lifeforms coming out from the spatial crack. They were extremely strange looking but their appearance somehow resembled to some odd looking plants.

"These are devil plants", Lan Yueyue spoke with a grave look on her face. She could only watch helplessly as the devil plants started to corrode the heaven and earth around the Yellow stone city.
"Everyone, we can't wait anymore. These vile devils can wait but we can't. It is best to engage them before they eat away our land and sky", Lan Yueyue spoke. She was not willing to wait anymore after seeing the outpouring of devil plants from the spatial crack.
"City lord, what about that devil? He seems like a very powerful expert", a patriarch of a powerful family pointed towards lord Tianzun. He was feeling an indescribable fear whenever his eyes fell on the imposing looking devil.
"He is probably the leader of the devils. I need all of our tribulation realm experts to deal with him", Lan Yueyue spoke. She herself was feeling nervous but she acted courageously and gathered the experts of the Yellow stone city around her.
"Looks like humans are getting impatient", lord Tianzun chuckled after seeing the movement in the Yellow stone city. He took out a simple looking bone spear from his spatial ring.
"Everyone, be prepared. It is a good opportunity to feast on the human cultivators. Glory to our Abhorst empire. Attack", he commanded with a calm expression.
It was as if a hidden beast woke up from the slumber after lord Tianzun gave his command. Waves after waves of devils charged towards the city wall of the Yellow stone city.
Long projectile attacks came from the city wall as it killed many devils on their tracks. But the army of devils were like unfeeling creatures who proceeded despite the loss of their comrades.
The cultivators of the Yellow stone city watched in disgust and fear as few devils tore up their dead companions flesh and ate them. Their mouth appeared bloody with all the flesh they feasted upon on their way.
The devil plants continued to release obnoxious gases and corrode the surrounding environment. The cultivators of the Yellow stone city watched with nervousness as the devils closed on the city walls.
Suddenly a pitch black energy spear came whizzling towards Lan Yueyue. The spear tip glramed with a cold glint as it approached Lan Yueyue with a breathtaking speed.
Lan Yueyue instinctively side stepped and the energy spear fell on the city. It tore upon a two feet hole after falling on the ground.
Lan Yueyue looked towards the perpetrator who had suddenly attacked. Her eyes went towards the group of young devils who were standing in the middle of the approaching devils.
A malicious grin appeared on the face of young devil when he saw Lan Yueyue looking towards them. He raised his hand once again and another pitch black energy spear appeared on his hand.
Lan Yueyue suddenly felt a sense of danger as he tilted her body. A sword pierced her belly from her back despite how alert she was.
"Li Jing, you dare", a cultivator roared at the side of Lan Yueyue. He immediately swept his hand and an energy blade cut upon the throat of the perpetrator.
Lan Yueyue took out the sword from her back and looked at the experts around her. There was confusion on her face as she couldn't understand why an expert from her Lan family would attack her.
She was in confusion when another pitch black energy spear came flying towards the city wall. This time the speed of spear was more terrifying as it approached an expert standing close to her.
Everyone watched in horror as the expert couldn't fend off the pitch black spear. The spear pierced his chest and threw him off the city wall with force.
To the horror of the human expert, he found out that he couldn't use essence energy after falling from the city wall. Without the protection of the essence energy, he was slightly stronger than a normal human and nothing more.
His body became a mangled mess after he fell the height of the city wall. He was the first human expert from the Yellow stone city to be killed by the devil army from the shadow planets.
