"Zhan Chen kneel. Pay your respect to the forefathers and your test will be over", Nu Hao declared.
Standing at such a close distance, Zhan Chen could see the silhouettes of five forefathers in great details. Like previous time, he didn't feel any obstruction while observing the silhouettes of five forefathers of the Xuantian sect.
The middle one among them was a calm looking man. His eyes seemed to hold great wishdom as he faced towards the distance. Right to him, stood a man who appeared to have a fiery personality. Next to him stood a hulking man who seemed to have a stubborn personality.
At the left to the calm looking man, stood a beauty with an otherworldly aura around her. Her appearance was so pure that even the most lascivious man would think nothing of her.
Next to her stood a tall looking man who had bulging muscles. He was only wearing an armour and looking at the distance with a challenging look on his face.
"All of them most be great cultivators at their time", Zhan Chen thought to himself after taking a look at them. He knelt before them and paid his respect to the forefathers of the Xuantian sect.
No one present minded the slight delay in Zhan Chen's part as all of them were in awe with his performance. Nu Hao wanted to speak something but his expression changed as he felt the changes in the air.
An old man had appeared before the raised platform without alerting anyone. He had an amiable look on his face as he observed the onlookers surrounding the raised platform.
"Ancestor Duyi!", Nu Hao called out with a surprised look on his face. He immediately knelt after realising the identity of the amiable looking old man.
"Everyone kneel, pay respect to ancestor Duyi", Nu Hao called out. The other experts of the Xuantian sect gulped a little after hearing the words of Nu Hao. They knelt immediately although they were uncertain about the identity of the amiable looking old man.
"Everyone rise. There is no need to kneel infront of an old man like me", the old man in the air spoke. He finally shifted his focus towards the raised platform from where Zhan Chen was walking out at this moment.
"Greetings senior", Zhan Chen bowed towards the old man after leaving the raised platform. There was apprehension in his heart while looking towards the amiable looking old man. 'What is a sage doing here?', he thought to himself while appearing calm infront of the amiable looking old man.
"Little friend, you are incredible. I couldn't hold my curiousity after watching the test for a while", the amiable looking old man spoke.
"If you don't mind, can you display your sword intent once again?", he looked towards Zhan Chen with little anticipation in his eyes.
Zhan Chen felt confused by the enthusiasm of the sage realm expert. He still nodded his head and displayed his sword intent.
With a thought of his mind, his aura started to transform. His leisurely demeanor vanished as he seemed like a sharp sword. He took a look at the amiable looking old man and used his sword intent against him.
The sage realm expert felt surprised for a moment but he quickly regained his composure. With a thought of his mind, a heavy pressure descended towards Zhan Chen.
"Heavenly law of earth!", Zhan Chen murmured to himself and retracted his sword intent. The amiable looking old man also withdrew his pressure and looked towards Zhan Chen with an incredulous look on his face.
"Little friend, you are more than capable. I have no proficiency in the sword. Otherwise, I would have immediately take you as a disciple", the old man spoke.
"Now let's leave the matter of personal disciple for another time. That can only be decided after elder brother Bo leaves his seclusion.
For now, you can cultivate in the Sword peak. I will instruct them to vacate a hill near the sword peak. You can cultivate there as you like and use your privileges as a core disciple of our Xuantian sect", the old man further added. He took out few communication tailsmans and handed them to Zhan Chen.
"Senior, thank you", Zhan Chen bowed politely but by the time he raised his head, the old man was already gone.

"What do all of you think?", the lead expert among the group of emperors asked. There was a look of appreciation and pride on his face as he looked towards the figure of Zhan Chen in the transparent sphere.
"There is no point in giving our opinions anymore. Elder Duyi from the ancestoral peak has spoken. So, we will do as he says", a bald old man among the emperors replied.
"Yes, send a message to Nu Hao. Tell him to announce Zhan Chen as the new core disciple of the Xuantian sect.
He is going to be assigned to the sword peak but he is welcome to visit other peaks as he wants", another emperor chimed in. There was visible excitement on his face as he looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Then, it is decided. Zhan Chen is the new entrant among the core disciples of our Xuantian sect", the lead expert among the emperors spoke. Other emperors nodded their heads and a smile appeared on the face of the lead expert.
A powerful soul consciousness approached Nu Hao after the discussion among the emperors concluded. A surprised look appeared on Nu Hao's face after he was informed about the decision of the emperors.
The overpowering soul consciousness left as soon as it arrived. Nu Hao exhaled in releif after the powerful soul consciousness was gone.
"Zhan Chen, a decision has come from above. You are to be conferred with the core disciple position of my Xuantian sect", Nu Hao looked towards Zhan Chen.
"Core disciple! That will make things easy for me", Zhan Chen nodded his head. He had a nonchalant expression yet other spectators were looking at him with agape mouths.
"Zhan Chen, do you know what are the privileges of a core disciple in our sect?", an expert of the Xuantian sect asked Zhan Chen.
"I have no idea", Zhan Chen replied truthfully.
"No wonder, you are so calm!", the expert muttered in understanding.
"Sword fairies, are you aware about all the privileges of a core disciple?", the expert looked towards the five beauties from the sword peak.
"Yes senior", all of them replied.
"Then inform him about the details while travelling to the sword peak. I have some matters at hand.
Otherwise, I would have accompanied you all to the sword peak", the expert spoke.
