"But your age? You are too young for her!", Chi Sheng spoke with disbelief in his eyes.
"Who said I am too young? Ask her if I am man enough", Zhan Chen wrapped his hand more intimately around Lin Xintong and looked towards Chi Sheng.
A deep blush appeared on Lin Xintong 's face after she heard Zhan Chen's words. She lowered her head shyly as she didn't want to face Chi Sheng 's gaze.
"Little friend, you are indeed a marvel. I wonder what would others think if they find out your preference", Chi Sheng spoke.
"Senior, you jest. I am really grateful for your help this time", Zhan Chen replied. Both he and Chi Sheng talked for a while and they stopped after the Brilliant flame city appeared in a distance.
Chi Sheng took his leave after dropping Zhan Chen infront of the city gate of the Brilliant flame city.
Zhan Chen hired a magical beast carriage and travelled back to the Spring drizzle inn along with Lin Xintong.
