He strolled along with the crowd and looked at the different stalls of the Azure stone pavilion with interest in his eyes.
The pill stalls and weapon stalls were directly neglected by him as the goods of the ground floor were of cheap quality. What he was really interested in was the treasure collection of Azure stone pavilion where he had noticed some peculiar treasures.
He skipped various crowded stalls and finally stopped near a decrepit looking stall which was showcasing the ancient relics of the past. Compared to the other stalls of the Azure stone pavilion, this stall had almost no visitors.
A seemingly ordinary old man was the incharge of this stall. He was dozing off near a corner of the stall.
Most cultivators would have ignored the frail looking old man but Zhan Chen couldn't because he had already seen through the cultivation level of this old expert.

A surprised expression appeared on his face as he couldn't see through the cultivation level of Zhan Chen. He finally felt somehow interested and chose to observe the young cultivator who had come to visit his store.
Zhan Chen knew the old expert was looking at him but he remained nonchalant. He was not here to pick a fight. So, there was no chance of any trouble even though he was facing an expert of peak Tribulation realm.
Zhan Chen picked up two ancient looking circular plates at first. Then he scanned through the collection of treasures and picked up a dirty looking copper plate. His last pick was a black colour bone.
"Strange! Why did he pick up this bone?", the old expert thought to himself. He always thought the old bone as a complete waste because there was nothing seemed unordinary about it. If given a choice, he would have thrown out the bone but it was the ancestoral rule of Azure stone pavilion to never throw out a treasure once collected by the forefathers of the pavilion.
"Forget it. I should be happy that someone has finally cleared some trashes from my Azure stone pavilion", the old expert thought to himself.
"Senior, I am picking these three. Plese give me a good price", Zhan Chen spoke.
"Of course. All of them are eight hundred spirit crystals", the old expert replied.
Zhan Chen's mouth twitched a little after hearing the price. He still took out eight hundred spirit crystals and handed them over to the old expert.
A smile bloomed on the face of the old expert after seeing the spirit stones. He immediately pocketed the spirit stones and handed the three products to Zhan Chen.
"Business is good today", he thought to himself as he looked at the leaving figure of Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen didn't linger in the Azure stone pavilion after fulfilling his objective. It was already night and he had so many thing to take care of before the next morning arrived.
Elder Cheng was already waiting for him in the Clear spring inn. There was also the Wu clan group who greeted him as soon as he entered the premises of Clear spring inn.
"Greetings, grandmaster Chen. We have brought our patriarch along with us", one of the Wu clan old man introduced a middle-aged man who was standing with him.
The name of Wu clan patriarch was Wu Chun. He was a middle aged man with higher cultivation than the two elders of his clan.
"Peak fifth stage cultivation", Zhan Chen murmured after taking a look at the patriarch of Wu clan. A surprised expression appeared on Wu Chun's face after hearing the words of Zhan Chen.
"Grandmaster Chen, I am indeed at the peak of Martial ascension realm like brother Cheng. I have heard that you are proposing a deal to us. So, I immediately left seclusion and come back along with the elders to take a look at you", Wu Chun spoke.
"I indeed have a proposal for your Wu clan. But I have never thought that the patriarch of Wu clan himself would show up for our deal. I am honoured", Zhan Chen looked towards Wu Chun.
A smile appeared on the Wu Chun's face after hearing the words of Zhan Chen. He immediately had a favourable impression towards Zhan Chen after seeing his politeness and humility.
Zhan Chen asked him about the Clear spring inn and the patriarch of Wu clan didn't hesitate to give up the Clear spring inn for Zhan Chen.
"Patriarch Chun, please discuss this with your elders after going back to your clan. You must finalize a a price and covey it to elder Cheng", Zhan Chen spoke. The Wu clan patriarch was insisting that it was a gift but Zhan Chen was not willing to take their property as a gift. Finally, the Wu clan patriarch agreed to decide upon a price and left with other two elders of his clan.
Zhan Chen finally looked towards elder Cheng who was waiting for him patiently since a while. "Have you gathered all the ingredients?", Zhan Chen asked.
"Yes young master. Please have a look at this", elder Cheng spoke and handed over a spatial ring to Zhan Chen.
Zhan Chen checked the spatial ring with his soul consciousness and nodded his head. "Follow me", he spoke and led elder Cheng to an empty room of the first floor.
It was the exact room where he was teaching Alchemy to elder Cheng. Elder Cheng sat down crosslegged to watch the concoction method of the Heart enlightenment pill but he couldn't hide his nervousness no matter how much he tried to stay calm.
"Elder Cheng, please concentrate. You will not get such opportunities even if you want in future", Zhan Chen spoke.
He started to arrange the ingredients and soon all of his actions started to gather momentum. Elder Cheng emptied his mind and tried to concentrate as it was really a good opportunity for him to improve his alchemy ability.
Zhan Chen took an hour to extract the medicinal essence from the ingredients. Then he started the final process which was fusing the medical essence of all the ingredients.
Elder Cheng swallowed his saliva nervously as he waited for the completion of Heart enlightenment pill. Zhan Chen smiled slightly after seeing the nervousness of elder Cheng. Compared to elder Cheng, he was completely relaxed.
The concoction of a grade five pill was no challenge to him and he proved it after taking another hour. "Check your pill", Zhan Chen spoke and took off the lid of the pill furnace.
