Alex took a bold step forward as he intended to chase but then a blue blur was already right in front of him, slashing out madly.

Alex raised his feet coated in black flame scales as he kicked at the blade with immense force, creating a wild explosion as Belial’s figure was blown into the air.

Above the clouds, a lone figure stood with his muscles bulging rapidly. The armor of the cosmic spirit of sun had shattered due to his rapid increase in strength, leaving Alex terrified. This was the first time he was seeing someone with who his power could keep rising.
If he was three stars in the rating a moment ago, now he was already four stars and still rising!

Alex kicked the air and shot toward the figure above. Since his man is proving to be the main problem between him and Belial, Alex concluded it’s best to kill him before things go wrong.
“I don’t remember giving you permission to harm my rising star” A cold voice rang in Alex’s eyes sending shivers down his spine.

Alex was blown back and sent spiraling down to the ground.
“Kill him” The Beyond’s voice rang but it wasn’t from the body of a fat man in the attire of the pope.

Alex frowned as he realized what happened. The beyond is still cautious of him but that didn’t mean he couldn’t join the battlefield safely. Now that Alex has shown himself it would be hard to believe the Beyond won’t make a move against him.
“Understood” Belial responded to the Beyond’s orders as he gripped the hilt of his blade and took a stance.

His eyes raged with power as his movements remained unseen yet thousands of sword lights danced dangerously around his location waiting for Alex to fall in.

Alex threw an open palm down and the mighty hands of the Buddha descended on Belial like a mountain falling atop a human.

Belial paled and quickly slashed out at the black palm with all his might at this moment he knew death was around the corner.

Alex frowned as he noticed his attack didn’t hit his required target. His cold gaze shifted to the heavens above and he saw the pope standing with Belial in his hands. He wore a meek smile and radiated majesty.
“Space power,” Alex said with a deep frown on his face.
Even though the Beyond was only residing in the body of a mere mortal, the pope’s strength could be rated four stars. His involvement in this fight will make it even more difficult but Alex seemed reluctant to withdraw.
He planned to put an end to this war tonight and conquer the northern province by morning.
Hastening his plan is the only way he can make it in time to aid his other half.
“One true God? You are cocky enough to use such a name... It would be an honor to consume you” The pope said as he revealed snake-like tongue while licking his lips.
Seeing this, Alex could only frown as he felt a strange feeling about the Beyond. it felt like there is more to this being than what even he and the god of death knew combined.
If the Beyond managed to consume all the gods of his god vein then he is qualified to become the sin of greed but for a reason, he wasn’t chosen.
Alex felt like this did not happen because he failed to meet up to expectations but something more.

The pope descended from the heavens majestically and began walking toward Alex with confidence in his eyes.
“Belial...Sun... Support me. I will lead the attack from now on” the beyond said calmly leaving Alex disturbed.

“The power of time” Alex muttered with a frown as his face turned paler by the moment.
