“Now take my attack!” Gin’s eyes flashed with cruelty as the six towers revolving around the city quickly released countless energy beams. With Someone like Gin who possessed almost limitless mana reserves as the host of force, his power was not something that can be toyed with.

Atlas and Iris stood on a higher platform from which they viewed their entire army. This platform was located at the heart of their forces so when the enemy attacked ruthlessly, they weren’t caught off guard.
“Scaled God formation!” Atlas said in an indifferent tone.
He was in the body of a youthful man with long blue hair and a traditional Chinese fan in his hand. He wore a blue kimono with countless wave designs on it.
Instantly flapping his fan while dishing out orders, his draconian army which was leading the charge quickly stopped and clasped their hands together.
Right before everyone’s eyes, bright blue dragon scales appeared across the sky, covering the entire army like a dome.

Countless beams raining from magic towers which even gave angel realm experts a tough time to deal with could not even make this shield tremble. As a being that has lived for a long time, Atlas has seen a lot of things but a flying empire was the first.

“A strong offense demands an even stronger reply. They will hesitate before they make their next move… that gives me enough time to deal with it… This issue” Gin said the last part with a deep frown as he turned to see Gerald and Dillian on their knees with deep frowns on their faces.
Even without being told, Gin knew something was extremely wrong and the only person that can affect them from within is that man hiding within the palace of death.

“What happened?” Gin asked with a deep frown.
“The death mage advised me to kill all the cosmic spirit hosts but I couldn’t. Outside the fact that they are all old friends who have fought side by side with us, plus my brother is also one of them. I just couldn’t…. So...” Gerald paused and bit his lips.
He and Dillain had haggard looks, indicating they were attacked. They had a few cuts but no serious injury, but guessing from the way they were panting heavily, he guessed it was a short but extremely intense exchange.
“So, Damon kept his eyes on you and you failed to do as you were ordered so he sent his angel of death to claim those souls for him. You must have survived… ” Gin speculated while Elsa and Cyrus frowned deeply.

“We have to stop him!” Elsa said with a deep frown and Cyrus nodded in agreement but Gin only let out a bitter smile in response.
“It’s already too late for that, he made us believe he wouldn’t move and had us lower our guard. He then fast forwarded his plans and caught us off guard. If my guess is right, the person responsible for this won’t just stay idle and watch us ruin his plans” Gin cupped his hands under his sleeves and looked in a certain direction.
As if in response to his words a fierce wind blew as the stench of death soon filled the air. They watched as the figure was completely covered in black robes, with long grey hair tied back into a ponytail and a black dragon mask on his face.

Everyone on the mountaintop turned pale except Gin who seemed to have predicted all of this beforehand. His gaze was fixated on the golden eyes hidden within the mask. This will always be an indicator of Damon’s true condition.
“Since you have already seen through my plans then I will keep things short. I will kill Dillian and everyone will stay here until my subordinates are done with their targets.” Damon’s voice was calm and low but it didn’t sound like he was asking.
