Chapter 314 He "Pissed" Him Off

Yang Lujia was quite satisfied with Long Sheng. Other than he was unyielding towards others, at least he had sympathy with his son and was even prepared to sacrifice his life for him.

Very unlike someone he knew in the past.

Long Sheng was a very prideful dragon. He had lived longer than even the Phoenix Ancestor herself. They were considered to be peers with Gu Tian who had lived even when the Temporal Lords were not yet at their peak in the present. His old age made him feel above all others and exert dominance when necessary, just like what he did in the Fiend Emperor Palace.

Moreover, Yang Lujia thought that the matter of Gu Tian betraying this old dragon, his 'old friend' was not as simple as it seemed on the surface. It was as clear as the sky that Gu Tian's plan had been implemented along with so many other plans in different territories.

For example, the Holy Light Palace and his disciple's demise.

All of these might be connected.

"Hey, when you betray others, at least do it with sophistication." He tapped Gu Tian's shoulder from the side and it made the latter piss his pants in fright.

'When did he appear beside me? Who is he? What is his motive?' Gu Tian immediately got vigilant at the new person who arrived.

"Who are you? When did you appear here?" His heart was cold.

"If I never wanted you to see or sense me, you would never have seen or sensed me like this. I found it pitiful for a father to beg you for a cure in exchange for his life. As much as I don't like parents being like this with their sons or daughters, I also don't like people like you."

Gu Tian was scared. He knew that he kicked an iron plate this time. This wasn't even made of iron. He was something even harder to deal with.

"Who are you?! Why are you trying to meddle in somebody's life?"

"My disciple is the Dragon Son of the Dragon Emperor Palace. Does this not sound reasonable for me to interfere? Moreover, my disciple is a dragon himself. If I weren't here, he would have already thrashed you to death. Dragon cores are the dragons' life source. It's also one of the main reasons why I made my move. That's because I am a dragon myself. Long Sheng comes from my bloodline. Do you think I would just let you sully the name of dragons?"

As Yang Lujia continued to speak, his tone gradually turned colder and colder. His dragon-ic bloodline was really what made him feel furious, exasperated.

Gu Tian heard his every heartbeat growing faster. Just as he was about to escape from the room, he found himself unable to move.

'Impossible! I'm at the same level as Long Sheng, even stronger than him! How can I be restrained by the rules of space? I am very efficient in utilizing the rules of space!'

"You don't really understand me. You can't even sense me when I was here all this time watching you two. How much more about defeating me? That's literally out of the question. After all, even if a hundred or a thousand of you will come here, you will all still die.

"If you want to ask why. It's actually simple. I am just stronger than you lot."

Gu Tian's pupils constricted as he thought of a terrifying possibility. "You…"

Yang Lujia grinned. "I want to see how you would struggle. Even my disciple, the Dragon Emperor Palace's Dragon Son, is stronger than the both of you and Long Sheng. If he wanted to make a move, it would only take him one word to erase you from the world."

Gu Tian was indignant. He had never felt so humiliated like this. However, the fear in his heart was very growing so fast that he could not control it anymore. He had lost himself in fear as he looked at the purple eyes of Yang Lujia. That pair of eyes made him feel tingles down from his spine to his legs. He felt very weak. It was as if he was dominated by a higher being he had not known who existed since the beginning of times.

No one should be able to do this to him. Not even the Temporal Lord he proclaimed as his master. At most, he would only last a battle against the Temporal Lord. The latter wouldn't be able to restrain him like this. However, the man in front of him easily conquered him.

He was right. This man was fucking right about himself.

He couldn't even afford to open his mouth and just looked at Long Sheng who was blankly staring at him.

"I want to know something, though. If you don't answer, I can just search your memories. It's easier for me that way. However, I will give you a chance to talk before I do that. Would you talk, though?"

'Of course, about searching your memory, that was a lie.'

Ever since Yang Lujia was suppressed by the rules of this world, he couldn't do it to anyone, unless the rules were weaker, just like in the lower realms.

Yang Lujia then looked at the depths of the Dragon Emperor Palace's main building. In his gaze, he saw the so-called Paramountcy Vessel. It was neither big nor small. It was just as tall as half of his height.

"Interesting," he muttered and smiled. He then focused his gaze on Gu Tian who had already pissed himself in fear. "How do you turn this thing off?"

Gu Tian had long been given the freedom to speak, but no words could come from his mouth. It was as though he was still paralyzed by something. When Yang Lujia saw this, he sighed. It seemed like he had scared him big time. He should not have used his purple eyes. After all, anyone would be a victim with his eyes as they were like invisible entities that would paralyze one's soul. That was what happened to Gu Tian.

"If you don't want to tell, I'll turn it off myself."

"No…" Finally, Gu Tian spoke when Yang Lujia was about to disappear. However, he did not do it purposefully.

He did it involuntarily.
