Chapter 39: The Fang Family

The desserts tasted great. Yin Xun finished them quickly, then went to the balcony to see if she would meet Fang Yao again. After all, she had eaten his food, so she should thank him again.

Yin Xun saw that the light opposite was still on. This time, the curtains were not drawn, and she could clearly see Fang Yao sitting at the table and reading.

Seeing that Fang Yao was focused on his own work, Yin Xun did not intend to disturb him and returned to her room. Unexpectedly, just as she turned around, Fang Yao's voice came from behind.

"Are you full? If you're not, I still have more." Fang Yao stood by the window and asked her.

"Yes, I'm full. It's very good. Thank you!" Yin Xun thanked him with a smile.

Fang Yao nodded his head slightly. "It;s fine," he said calmly. "You helped me too."

"Can we be considered friends? I thought that we would become neighbors with conflicts because of our first misunderstanding. I didn't expect you to be such a nice person. Do you want to be friends? We can help each other in the future."

This was a good time to get close to Fang Yao. Yin Xun struck while the iron was hot and took the opportunity to get closer to Fang Yao. Anyway, no matter who Fang Yao was, there was no harm in being friends first.

Facing Yin Xun's expectant gaze, Fang Yao actually had a feeling that he could not bear to reject her. It was as if he would hurt her if he rejected her now.

"Are we not friends now?" Fang Yao replied subconsciously.

Upon hearing this answer, Yin Xun's eyes immediately lit up. She hurriedly replied, "Yes! Of course we are!"

Yin Xun's eyes were burning as he stared at Fang Yao, the corners of her mouth almost reaching the back of her ears.

Fang Yao did not understand why Yin Xun was so happy, but he felt as if he had said something incredible, and he felt a little nervous.

Could he take back what he had just said? He kept feeling that the way Yin Xun was looking at him was not normal.

"Then I'll rest first. I'll treat you to a meal when I have time."

"Alright," he said.

Yin Xun said goodbye to Fang Yao, then closed the balcony door and went into her room.

As Yin Xun's figure disappeared from his sight, Fang Yao closed the bedroom window.

He walked out of the bedroom and saw the butler walking towards him. "Young Master, you have given all the food in the house to miss Yin. What are you going to do tonight?" he asked. Do you want me to send for some food?"

"No, I'm not hungry."

"By the way, get someone to prepare more food at home tomorrow. Get a big variety." Fang Yao thought for a moment and instructed the butler.

The butler glanced at Fang Yao's bedroom door and remembered that he had just delivered food to Yin Xun. He immediately understood what Fang Yao meant and agreed with a smile, "Okay, don't worry, Young Master. I will definitely prepare all kinds of delicious desserts. Haha, Miss Yin is really not bad. This is the first time that I have seen you put so much effort for a girl."

Hearing the butler's words, Fang Yao replied calmly, "Neighbors see each other all the time, so it's normal for them to help each other."

The butler did not believe him and continued to ask, "Young Master, do you really not have any feelings for Miss Yin? Tonight, you would rather let yourself go hungry, all to give Miss Yin food. This is already not just being good to the neighbors, right? Young Master, if you are interested in Miss Yin, but you are too embarrassed to say it out loud, then it's fine. I can help you."

Faced with the butler's enthusiasm, Fang Yao sighed softly and said, "It's not that complicated. Alright, you can go back to your work."

Fang Yao's unspoken meaning was to ask the butler to quickly find something to do. He did not expect the butler to be quite happy. Perhaps he felt that he had spoken to Fang Yao's heart, so he left with a smile.

Based on his observations, there was something going on between Miss Yin and the Young Master. He would definitely not be wrong when he judged people.

Fang Yao's attitude towards Yin Xun was not obvious yet, but Yin Xun's attitude towards Fang Yao was very obvious.

After she returned to the bedroom, she could not wait to pick up her phone and call Yin Cheng.

Yin Cheng seemed to be working as he quickly picked up the call.

Yin Xun asked him about Fang Yao, and Yin Cheng was instantly nervous. He quickly asked her, "Why are you suddenly asking about him? Did you offend him?"

Hearing Yin Cheng's slightly flustered tone, Yin Xun immediately understood. This Fang Yao was indeed not ordinary, or else her father would not be so nervous. After all, although the Yin family was not the most powerful, they still had a certain amount of influence in the circle. Most companies would have to be wary of them.

"Don't worry, I didn't. I was just curious. After all, I've never heard of this person," Yin Xun explained.
