Chapter 545: Chapter 488: Who Tricked These Three Idiots?
Han Yu glanced hastily at the unfortunate fool who had blown himself up. It was bad enough his enemies gave him no quarter, but these side effects were deadly!
"It’s that idiot!"
Gu Feng turned his head in astonishment and spoke, having recognized the person who blocked their combined strike as the fool from before.
"Shut up, haven’t you realized you’re the real fool here!"
Yi Hong shouted lightly, his expression wary. What fool could easily withstand their combined strike and come out unscathed?
Belatedly, Gu Feng finally widened his eyes together with Yi Hong, pointing at Han Yu in surprise and saying, "Why weren’t you affected by the plague?"
Even cultivators at the Divine Platform Realm couldn’t possibly withstand such an attack unscathed, especially since he is an outsider from the Endless Sea Domain.
This was enough to prove the visitor was extraordinary.
Gu Feng immediately had an answer.
Han Yu!
In the vast Central Continent, there’s only this one person worthy of them crossing the sea mountains to come here.
Luckily, they didn’t miss him. If he had slipped away right before their eyes, it would have been truly regrettable.
"Quick, capture him, he’s the one we’re after."
As Gu Feng spoke, Yi Hong and Gu Feng also reacted.
"Fortunate indeed, I didn’t expect to encounter him right after leaving the domain."
Gu Feng laughed heartily. This time, the plague spread far and wide, and the area of five miles was once again filled with various Gu poisons, with countless Gu insects sprouting like bamboo shoots from the soil after rain.
The void was filled with a light green toxic mist, and the newly emerged Gu insects on the ground surged like tidal waves.
This was Gu Feng’s most powerful method; any cultivator of the same realm could hardly fight him for long in such an environment.
Han Yu twitched his mouth while looking at the scene before him; the three thought he was stunned by fear.
"So damn disgusting."
Unexpectedly, Han Yu blurted out this response.
Indeed disgusting; never mind the nauseating toxic mist, these strangely shaped, sticky insects crawling densely were truly repulsive -- not to mention the power of this set piece, but Han Yu was definitely disgusted.
"We’ll see if you can still keep talking tough in a bit."
Gu Feng spoke angrily, and instantly, the gathering speed of the toxic mist increased, the surging insect swarm rising like towering waves.
Yet in the very next moment, the toxic mist reached a standstill within a remaining mile radius, and the insect swarm even began to scatter.
In the realm of flames, Han Yu rolled his eyes at the three fools.
Which idiot sent these three to die? Was it some shadow soul or a traveling merchant?
The shadow soul was handled so badly, the possibility was huge.
The merchant, the merchant lost his treasure, seems like he had quite a grudge too.
Naturally, Han Yu did not know he’d falsely accused them, as the shadow soul now only wanted to hide sneakily in his little place and lie low.
The merchant was, well, capable of such things, except he was long gone.
"This fool’s no good, the ability’s vicious but fears fire attacks the most; when you encounter him, you’ll be reduced to a grandson."
The Artifact Spirit laughed heartily in the Sea of Consciousness.
Han Yu also smiled as he glanced at Gu Feng’s furious face, the ridicule evident.
"Let me try!"
Gu Feng frowned and pointed a finger. Han Yu, who was still smiling, suddenly changed his expression.
It worked!
Gu Feng should’ve been pleased, but instantly sensed something wrong.
"I’m dying of laughter..."
The Artifact Spirit rolled on the ground in laughter within the Sea of Consciousness, pale blue teardrops glimmering in its eyes.
Was Han Yu caught?
Han Yu was indeed caught!
Although it didn’t understand Gu Feng’s exact ability, Han Yu inexplicably was ignited with lust.
"You... bastard!"
Han Yu blushingly covered his crotch, leaving the three opposite him dumbfounded.
Especially Gu Feng, who stared incredulously at his finger, unable to believe it. Clearly, his ability could incite emotions in cultivators, triggering at least heart fire, and those with weaker resistance should instantly become possessed.
Why did it just stir up lust in this guy?
"That guy’s methods seem to only target cultivators, and you’re precisely not a proper cultivator."
The Artifact Spirit rolled around, laughing to the point of being out of breath.
Yi Hong observed the two’s methods falter midway and couldn’t help but advance aggressively, closing the distance to Han Yu in a heartbeat after a dive.
A Cyan Dragon emerged from the sea of flames, yet before reaching Yi Hong, it bizarrely redirected its attack towards Han Yu.
Han Yu also summoned several Cyan Dragons to devour the threat. In merely a few rounds, the controlled Dragon reintegrated into the fire sea. However, after Yi Hong’s sneering laugh, he once again bizarrely manipulated those Dragons.
Having no other choice, Han Yu had to summon even more Cyan Dragons to counter, and as the cycle continued, the Dragons’ numbers increased, and the momentum inevitably grew as well.
"This guy has the ability to transfer energy."
The Artifact Spirit finally stopped laughing and, still surprised, spoke up.
Reveling in his increasing prowess, Yi Hong thought that it ultimately depended on him.
Cultivators like Han Yu, who rely on energy, are naturally countered by him.
"I’ll use your own abilities to beat you to death."
Yi Hong mocked with a cold laugh.
"Oh, really?"
Han Yu asked suddenly, unhurriedly, as the sea of flames within a mile radius abruptly extinguished. Yi Hong habitually attempted to transfer the energy but found nothing to hold on to.
Momentarily stunned, a giant fist, propelled by the force of wind and thunder, bore down on Yi Hong. As he tried to dodge, he realized that his clothes had already been tightly grasped by Han Yu’s other hand.
Boom!
A colossal sound pierced the heavens, and upon another look, half of Yi Hong’s face had caved in. His hands trembled as he pointed at the ground, while powerful surges of air engulfed the surrounding area.
"The flaw in this guy’s abilities is too great; the extreme speed of the force is impossible to transfer in time."
The Artifact Spirit explained with a serious demeanor.
Although the aftermath of the blast had been partially transferred, it had little impact for Yi Hong, as just a single punch nearly scrambled his brains, and the shock waves wreaked havoc inside him, almost damaging his foundation.
If he hadn’t transferred this power to the ground in time, even the lightest consequence would have been severe injury.
Watching as the opponent’s half-smashed head slowly recovered, Han Yu mischievously grinned and punched again, erupting another wave of heated air from the ground.
"All together now!"
As Yi Hong was being beaten into seeing stars, Gu Feng finally, with a grave expression, called for Wen Xiong to join in the attack.
Meanwhile, he cursed the doctor countless times in his heart. That bastard only said Han Yu had something but never mentioned how troublesome it was.
But this wronged the doctor, as he only concealed Han Yu’s power to strip away the Origin, all other intel was from the peddler.
Thus, the peddler initially had been vague, the doctor only heard tales, and the three fools recklessly took the bait and came here.
"I’ll immobilize him first."
Gu Feng gritted his teeth, never imagining that his methods would stoop so low one day.
Evidently, it was a power to ensnare Heart Demons, now akin to the seductive allure of a native seductress from Central Continent.
At least it had some effect.
He could only comfort himself in this way, as his fingers moved rapidly, almost creating afterimages.
Han Yu, just about to continue pummeling the fool in hand, suddenly found his lower body violently reacting. One wave stronger than the previous one, rendering his entire body stiff, unbearably uncomfortable.
Taking advantage of the moment, Wen Xiong unleashed both a poison mist and Gu Insects that swarmed all over Han Yu in an instant.
Seizing the chance, Yi Hong, utterly ashamed, stripped off his clothes and fled naked.
"He won’t die so easily, quickly use a killing move!"
Just as he escaped, Yi Hong, with a face full of resentment, sternly shouted.
Gu Feng agreed, signaling to Wen Xiong. Wen Xiong immediately pressed his palms together, causing the poison mist and Gu Insects to continuously merge.
The poison mist became an ominous green, while the Gu Insects self-destructed one after another, spewing dark green liquid.
Within a mile centered on Han Yu, everything was obliterated. Vegetation dissolved into black sludge, and all life ceased to exist.
After a long wait, a sticky statue stood in place.
The three men’s expressions were inconsistent, filled with fluctuating emotions.
Both fearing the opponent had died under this offensive, wasting their efforts, and fearing that he would emerge unharmed, as fierce as ever.
"The one who was pointing his fingers, I’m definitely going to break your fingers..."
When a robust voice echoed from within the statue, the three were finally struck with astonishment...
