Chapter 581: 581

"Come on, let’s go on this boat," Mu Wan said with a cheerful smile, pulling Lin Kuang along.

"Ahem, Wan’er, what is this boat for?" Lin Kuang asked, genuinely curious.

"It’s a floating restaurant," Mu Wan explained with a smile, her eyes filled with nostalgia. "It’s full of delicious food. We can eat while enjoying the scenery. The experience is wonderful."

"Oh? That does sound nice," Lin Kuang said with a laugh. He had never experienced anything like this before.

"Mhm, let’s go. Time to get on board," Mu Wan said, still smiling as she pulled Lin Kuang toward the boat.

Just as they were about to step on, however, several men walked over and blocked their path. A group of six men had approached them. Five of them looked like bodyguards, and they were surrounding a young man who clearly didn’t seem like an ordinary person.

"Hey, you two, get off," one of the bodyguards shouted. "This boat isn’t for you."

Hearing this, Lin Kuang and Mu Wan paused and turned to look.

"What do you want?" Lin Kuang asked with a frown.

"What do we want? Are you deaf?" one of the bodyguards barked. "I told you to get off! Our Young Master Chang wants this boat."

"Oh? You want to board?" Lin Kuang said calmly. "Sorry, but we saw it first. You’ll have to pick another one." He then turned to get on the boat.

"Kid, are you tired of living?" the bodyguard snarled, his voice laced with anger. "Get down right now, or we won’t be so polite!"

"Oh? You won’t be polite?" Lin Kuang asked with a grin, turning back around. "And how would that be?"

"How? Are you an idiot, kid? With our fists, obviously!" the bodyguard shot back.

"Just a moment, Number Four, don’t always be so rough. We should be a bit nicer in front of a beautiful lady," the young man at the center, Chang Yu, said with a smile.

"Yes, Young Master Chang. You’re right, of course," the bodyguard named Number Four said, fawning over him.

Chang Yu turned to Mu Wan, flashing what he believed was a gentlemanly smile. "My dear beauty, there’s no need to resolve this with fists. Just agree to spend one night with me, and I’ll gift you this entire boat. What do you say?" 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

The sight of Chang Yu’s nauseating expression almost made Mu Wan vomit. This man is utterly shameless!

"Hubby, look at that toad trying to eat swan meat," Mu Wan said coquettishly, clutching Lin Kuang’s arm. "What should we do about him?" We’re bored anyway, so we might as well have a little fun. This is perfect.

Lin Kuang couldn’t help but find it amusing. This girl is a surprisingly good actress.

"Ahem, darling, what do you think we should do?" Lin Kuang asked, playing along with a smile.

"Should we just teach them a little lesson? Or maybe toss them into West Lake?" Mu Wan suggested playfully, batting her eyelashes.

"Hmm, not a bad idea," Lin Kuang agreed with a smile. "Into West Lake they go."

"Damn it! Are you two just going to ignore us?!" Number Four roared. Their sheer arrogance was infuriating.

Lin Kuang looked at Number Four and said with a straight face, "Uh, no, of course we aren’t ignoring you. If I ignored you, how could I possibly throw you into the lake?"

Hearing this, Number Four scratched his head. "Hey, that kind of makes sense."

"Sense, my ass! You moron!" Chang Yu snapped irritably. "He’s making fun of you, and you’re just standing there! Are you a complete idiot?"

"Oh, so that’s what he meant," Number Four said, finally understanding. "So, Young Master Chang, what’s the plan? Do we beat them up?"

"Yes! Beat the hell out of them for me!" Chang Yu ordered viciously.

"Alright, boys! Let’s get ’em!" With that, Number Four and the other four bodyguards charged forward.

Seeing them charge, Chang Yu quickly shouted, "Hey, hey, Number Four, be careful! Don’t you dare hurt the beauty! This young master still wants to have some fun with her!" Who knew what that oaf would do otherwise.

"Ah, got it!" Number Four called back without turning his head.

Watching them, Mu Wan frowned in displeasure. "Hubby, you have to teach that Young Master Chang a good lesson. That guy is just begging for a beating."

"Don’t worry, I will," Lin Kuang said with a smile as he stepped forward to meet them.

Number Four was the first to reach him, throwing a punch straight at Lin Kuang’s head. But with his level of strength, why would Lin Kuang ever be afraid of someone like Number Four?

Lin Kuang’s hand shot up and clamped down on Number Four’s wrist. The bodyguard tried to kick Lin Kuang in the stomach, but just then, Lin Kuang exerted his own strength. In an instant, Lin Kuang spun him around like a top before violently flinging him through the air.

Number Four let out a scream in mid-air, "Oh my God!"

The next moment, with a loud SPLASH, he plunged into West Lake.

The remaining men froze, stunned to see Number Four thrown into the lake so effortlessly. Although Number Four was a bit dense, his fighting skills were formidable. Otherwise, Chang Yu would have no use for him. Yet Lin Kuang had tossed him into the lake as if he were a child. This is terrifying!

"Damn it, what are you all gawking at? Get him!" Chang Yu roared from behind them.

"Y-Yes, sir! Let’s go!" the remaining four men stammered before charging at Lin Kuang.

For Lin Kuang, dealing with them was like an old man playing with a toddler—it couldn’t have been easier. A few moments later, a series of splashes echoed across the water. SPLASH. SPLASH. SPLASH. SPLASH. The four men had been tossed into West Lake one after another.

Once he was done, Lin Kuang casually dusted off his hands, his gaze falling upon the stunned Chang Yu.

"Hey, you’re Young Master Chang, right?" Lin Kuang said with a beaming smile, beckoning to him. "Come here for a second."

Snapping out of his daze, Chang Yu’s expression changed, and he instinctively took two steps back.

"Wh-what do you want?" Chang Yu stammered, his voice lacking any real conviction. "Do you have any idea who I am? If you touch me, you’re dead!"

"Oh? And who are you?" Lin Kuang asked, feigning surprise. "Are you not a human?"

At his words, Chang Yu’s face instantly flushed red, his eyes burning with shame and fury.

"You bastard!" Chang Yu roared. "My father is Chang Chun! You touch me, and there won’t be a place for you in Hangcheng!"
