Chapter 288: Power Flex
The naga protector fell to his knees. With both hands decapitated, but the left hand was slowly regenerating. Rache appeared as the blue light slowly faded. His hair was brown and his skin was dark, but his dark spit seemed to have all disappeared and he grew taller. His eyes was filled with life and energy. He ran and hugged Rein.
"Thank you! Thank you so much!!" He said while digging his face into Reinard’s chest.
Azes grumbled as was about to go pull him away but was held back by Theo.
"Gone are the days where Lord Rein used to belong to you alone, now he is the father of everyone" Theo said.
"What do you mean father, he’s barely twenty two and he doesn’t even have a wife yet...watch your use of words" Amelia said.
"At least we know he’ll soon have a wife." Samael said.
"Ariel show me his status window"

Rein’s eye widened, "Sword of the Moon?! How come?! Why does it feel like he has all the skills complete...’
Rache looked at Reinard with a worried face,
"Is there something you don’t like on me? Benefactor?"
Reinard regained his Composure.
"It’s nothing Rache, I was just wondering, how do you have these much skills?"
"Oh, you can see it, as expected of my benefactor. Its because of the past people that have wielded me, since I can learn, through consistent use of their skills...I could remember this particular guy that created a sword skill called Moonlight sword, he used me a lot but he also couldn’t handle the curses and abandoned me" Rache said.
’Which means it might not be complete but this is definitely luck, since I lost all my skills I’ve been trying to get the sword of the moon back but I couldn’t no matter how much I tried...but it just came to me like this, with the other skills too...’ Rein smiled.
"Father looks happy" Azes said, "is it the new boy making him happy?"
"Now you are jealous, don’t be like that, you are a mighty dragon" Theo said brushing Azes black hair.
Rein patted Rache’s hair and faced the Naga protector.
"I defeated you, I demand that I be taken to your treasure room" Rein said.
"Aha, you must be delusional to think I will show you to my treasure room just because you cut my hands. Skkkkkkkkrrrrtrrttchhh" The naga protector screamed. Immediately the whole cave shook and began to tremble.
"You hear that? That is the sound of the thousand crawls of nagas, all the nagas of different race that I govern, some of them even stronger and bigger than I am."
"Oh really?" Rein said stretching forth his hand.
Rache smiled with excitement, transformed into a sword and flew into Reinard’s hand. Reinard swung the sword cyclonically.
"Let them come."

Snow began to cover everywhere from the corners of the cave, the snow witch then appeared in front of the naga protector.
"What are you doing Ahlu? Is your ego more important than your life" the snow witch said as she landed. She looked at both of his decapitated hands and looked at the sword in Rein’s hand.
"How did you get that? How are you even able to use it?" She asked Rein.
"Haven’t we been meeting too much?" Rein said.
"If you continue to rough up the protectors like this, I’ll have no choice but to send you out of the labyrinth"
"And how exactly do you plan to do that, knock me out and carry me to the gateway"
"That is too long, I’ll just kill you" she said.
Rein giggled, "If you are able to kill then all I’ve been doing all these while is a joke"
"You seem very rude and cocky" she said
"You are the cocky one..." Rein said.
Both of them stared at each other in silence. The naga protector stood up.
"Follow me" he said and walked past Reinard.
Reinard gave the lady a last glimpse then followed the naga protector slowly behind, the other nagas that had already filled the surrounding parted so they could pass. Afterwards the naga protector reached a cave with a small lake in it.
"I hope you can breathe underwater" he said and jumped into the lake.
Ariel looked at Reinard and also jumped into the air. Rache transformed to his human form.
"I can’t breathe under water" he said.
"It’s fine, I can help" Azes said, he snapped his fingers and immediately a bubble circled Rache’s head. He turned to Reinard.
"I’m fine..." Reinard said and inhaled deeply then jumped into the lake. Others followed.
They swam deep into the lake following the bible trails left by the naga protector and the snow witch, they passed a carving and arrived at a large castle inside the water. They swam all the way to the castle and as they entered the gate of the castle, it was like they were coming out of the water into a place filled with air.

Rein exhaled hardly.
The naga protector and the snow witch both looked back.
"Did you seriously hold your breathe till you reach here?" She said.
Rein did not answer her but instead stabled his breathing.
"I commend you, a normal person would have died five times over" she said and walked inside, following the naga protector.
The naga protector reached inside and took them to the castle Palace which was heavily guarded. They entered and the place was beautiful almost comparable to Rein’s Imperial Palatium.
"Your highness the Naga King, I greet you" he said bowing.
The large naga sitting on the throne quickly stood up, it was very tall, taller than Ahlu and seemed stronger too, but he also seem old as his white long beards made it obvious.
"What happened to you my son?!" He said while examining Ahlu’s hand that wasn’t healing.
"I have failed you, I have been defeated and therefore have lost the right to continue to be a protector"
The king sighed and rose up from his knees to his feet, staring down at Reinard.
The snow witch Miriel smirked, "behold the true protector of the second biome, Thaksa"
The king stretched his hand and a fork spear flew into his hands.
"How dare you lay your hands on my son" as the king spoke the atmosphere began to darken and his eyes was filled with rage.
Rein opened his hand, Rache quickly swordified and flew into his hand.

Miriel suddenly flew away from Rein as he released his dragon authority. Her eyes widened as Rein was surrounded by a whitish aura.
’What the hell is this...’ she gritted her teeth, ’It seems harmless but then it feels like I would get swallowed up if I slightly loose focus.’
Rein was surprised as the Naga king was still standing.
’This bastard is strong, for him to be able to resist my authority...let’s see how far you can go’

The atmosphere darkened and a large bright moon stood behind Reinard’s head.
"Kneel"
The Naga king was forced to his knees by all his body, his knees crushed the ground. He still tried to get up but the pressure forcing him to his knees was much greater.
"W-hat the hell are you..."
Azes and Theo immediately transformed to their form.
"What do you think?" Rein said as both of the dragons rose from behind him.
’He has dragons?’ Miriel was shocked from where she stood.
"Dragon King...? No...this pressure I’m feeling from you...you are more" the King said.
"Ahhhh it’s so annoying when no one in this plane can recognise who I am, I can’t finish my business here and hurry to other planes where everyone recognises a dragon deity." Rein said with a sigh and released the pressure holding down the Naga King.
"I’m Reinard, a dragon deity and I need to touch the orb in your treasure room" Reinard said.
Immediately the King expressed satisfaction, his face calmed.
"So the spoken one had come, then it is only right that you are taken to the room" The king said and stood up.
’What does he mean the spoken one’ Miriel thought to herself as she followed Reinard and the Naga King.

Ahlu heavily panted as his father and Reinard left the room.
’Was he going easy on me all those time, with this much power, he could have killed me with a sneeze.’ He said as he collapsed on the floor still breathing heavily. Samael and Amelia walked past him while Azes and Theo flew.
