Chapter 84: Chapter 84: Cousin Milo Who Stole the Bracelet

Ginny blinked in confusion. "Passed away... What does that mean?"

Renee Jennings sighed. "Passed away... It means he’s never coming back."

Ginny’s eyes drooped, and it asked dejectedly, "Does he not want me anymore?"

"No," Renee Jennings said softly, soothingly stroking its fur. "He liked you very much. It’s just that he doesn’t live in this world anymore, so he can’t take care of you. How about we let Michelle take care of you from now on?"

Hearing this, Michelle Fuller immediately sat up straight, her eyes fixed on Ginny, a glimmer of hope hidden in her gaze.

’I wonder if Ginny will give me this chance.’

Ginny looked up at Michelle Fuller, its front paws fidgeting and scratching at the ground. "But I don’t know if Michelle wants to take care of me forever. Before, she said I was just staying here temporarily."

Hearing Ginny’s reply, a relieved smile spread across Renee Jennings’s face. "Of course she does. She really likes you, but she was afraid you wouldn’t want to stay here."

Ginny lifted a paw, placed it on her knee, and gave an eager bark. "Of course I want to!"

’I really like it here. I really like Michelle and everyone else.’

’Everyone is so, so nice to me.’

’Much nicer than my previous male owner was to me.’

’Here, there’s always someone to play with me, and I get delicious food every day. I don’t have to worry about when my next meal will be, waiting with a hungry stomach for my owner to come home.’

"Renee, what did Ginny say?" Michelle Fuller couldn’t take the suspense and asked nervously.

Renee Jennings looked back at her, gave a wink, and said with a smile, "Ginny wants to stay. It said it really likes you, too."

"That’s wonderful!" Michelle Fuller’s tense face broke into a brilliant smile. She stood up and pulled both Ginny and Renee Jennings into a hug. "Ginny, from now on, we’re a real family!"

With the issue that had been weighing on her mind perfectly resolved, Michelle Fuller felt a great sense of relief.

She relaxed and took a sip of her coffee. "By the way, didn’t you say that Old Fiend Crawford put rat poison downstairs to try and poison your three fur babies? Why don’t you have them come stay with me for a bit?"

Renee Jennings looked at her, blinked, and the corners of her lips slowly curved upward as a smile spread to her eyes.

’Before, neither I nor Michelle liked small animals. We couldn’t stand the thought of getting fur all over us. And now?’

’I have two cats, a dog, and a Slider.’

’Michelle has a little Golden Retriever.’

’It feels like both our lives have been completely turned upside down.’

"Renee, you goof, what are you smiling at?" Michelle Fuller asked, but then she couldn’t help but start laughing herself.

The two of them laughed harder and harder. Ginny watched from the side, looking confused at first, before breaking into a wide grin itself.

"CLICK—" Sean Fuller walked in to see this scene, whipped out his phone to snap a picture, and casually posted it to his Moments.

Caption: [Two silly sisters and one silly dog.]

After posting, he stuffed his phone back into his pocket, walked over to Ginny, and ruffled its head. "Do you even know what they’re laughing about?" he chuckled. "You’re laughing along too, you silly dog."

Renee Jennings greeted him before returning to her previous topic.

"I’ve already figured out a way to deal with Old Hag Crawford. As for my fur babies, I tell them every day not to eat anything they find outside, and I only walk the dog in the park."

Michelle Fuller’s eyes lit up. "What’s the plan?" she asked, ready for the gossip. "Tell me, tell me!"

Renee Jennings leaned in and whispered in her ear.

Seeing this, Sean Fuller looked curious. "What’s with the whispering? I want to hear, too."

"Shoo, shoo. This is girl talk. What’s a boy like you butting in for?" Michelle Fuller said with a look of disdain, swatting him away.

"Hmph. Fine, don’t tell me then." Sean Fuller sat down on the sofa, crossed his legs, and pulled out his phone to scroll through some videos.

A moment later, he opened WeChat and saw a red "99+" notification badge on his Moments.

Sean Fuller blinked, then rubbed his eyes and exclaimed, "What the hell!"

Michelle Fuller rolled her eyes at him. "Why are you yelling? Who are you trying to scare?"

Sean Fuller: "I’m not trying to scare anyone! I’m the one who’s scared!"

Michelle Fuller and Renee Jennings exchanged a confused glance. "What scared you?"

"Look," Sean Fuller said, pulling up the Moments post he had just made to show them. "This post got hundreds of likes and comments!"

Michelle Fuller frowned. "Are you throwing money away again?"

Previously, when Sean Fuller had complained about not getting enough likes and comments on his Moments, he made a post promising to give five hundred yuan to everyone who engaged with it.

He ended up throwing away four or five hundred thousand yuan that day for nothing.

’Four to five hundred thousand yuan could have bought me two purses!’

’What a spendthrift!’

Michelle Fuller still got a little angry just thinking about it.

"No," Sean Fuller explained hastily. "I just posted this photo."

He pulled up the photo he’d just taken of the two women and the dog, all smiling happily.

Michelle Fuller almost slapped him. "You little brat! You didn’t even use a beauty filter on us!"

"You and Renee are naturally beautiful; you don’t need a beauty filter at all," Sean Fuller said, his survival instincts on full display. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Of course, he was also telling the truth.

Ginny nodded its head from the side.

Sean Fuller pointed. "See? Great minds think alike. Ginny agrees with me."

Michelle Fuller was so exasperated she laughed, snatching his phone to read the comments.

[Young Master Fuller, you know Renee Jennings???]

[Isn’t this the streamer I just followed? She’s friends with Sister Michelle?]

[Ahhhh, it’s Renee Jennings!]

[Oh my god, Renee Jennings is friends with your sister! That basically means I’m friends with Renee Jennings!]

[Young Master Fuller, please ask Renee Jennings when her next stream is! Waiting online!]

[Same question! Waiting for the stream~]

The rest of the comments were all asking when she would stream next. Michelle Fuller handed the phone to Renee Jennings, grinning. "Looks like a lot of people are waiting for you to go live again, just like me."

Renee Jennings gave the comments a quick scan, a hint of resignation appearing on her delicate face. "You know I only streamed that day because I had no other choice."

Michelle Fuller gazed at her, her eyes full of admiration. "But that day—no, in just a few short hours, you saved Peach’s life and proved that Stella didn’t steal the necklace."

Speaking of Stella, Renee Jennings couldn’t help but frown. "I don’t even know what to say about Begonia. I get the feeling she still doesn’t believe Stella didn’t steal the necklace."

"I know. Poor Stella, stuck with a mother like that." Michelle Fuller sighed, then added indignantly, "She’s too soft-hearted. If I were her, I’d just ignore Begonia completely!"

Renee Jennings lowered her gaze and said softly, "That’s why you can never truly feel what another person feels. We haven’t lived Stella’s life, so we can’t understand why she can’t let go of her love for Begonia."

"I wonder if Stella is home yet..." Michelle Fuller murmured.

「Stella had just arrived home.」

She thought only her mother would be home, but when she opened the door, she found her uncle and his family there.

Her cousin Milo, the one who had stolen the bracelet, was also there.

Stella walked into the living room, her schoolbag still on. She stared at him, her lips trembling slightly as she spoke. "Are you here to return the bracelet?"
