Chapter 374: Chapter 374: Yoshida Shuichi_1
Shangguan Yan picked up the Crystal Staff, and immediately a dazzling white light shot out, illuminating the entire tomb chamber.
Crack... Crack... Crack...
As soon as the Crystal Staff was removed, Yoshida Shuichi’s body began to crumble, breaking into chunks of flesh that fell to the ground.
Upon hitting the ground, those chunks of flesh turned black, carbonized, and even caught on fire. With a crackling sound, they all burned to ash.
Sikong Tu walked to the edge of the White Jade pedestal and said to Qin Feng, "Little brother Qin, come give me a hand, let’s turn it together."
"Sure!"
Qin Feng responded and then went over to help Sikong Tu, turning the White Jade pedestal three times to the left and then two and a half times to the right.
"Click!"
The White Jade pedestal emitted a crisp sound and then split into two halves.
"Boom!"
The stone wall on the northwest side suddenly collapsed, revealing a large hole.
"Let’s go! We can get out from here!" Sikong Tu led the way from the front.
After a quarter of an hour, the three of them walked out of the Great Sorcerer’s Tomb.
Qin Feng looked around and realized they were no longer in Tuniu Village. So, he asked Sikong Tu, "Did we come out from Tuniu Village?"
"I’ve got back my Soulbanishing Sword, and Yan has got the Crystal Staff, what’s left for us to do there?"
"Xie Changliu has raised so many Yin Soldiers in Tuniu Village; if it’s not dealt with, it will cause great trouble in the future."
"His Yin Soldiers can’t leave Tuniu Village, no need to worry. It’s Yoshida Shuichi who puzzles me—after a millennium of cultivation, he actually gave up his own flesh and blood. I don’t know what he’s plotting, but I’m too lazy to care anymore."
...
An hour later, Qin Feng, riding on a shared bike, had just arrived at the entrance of Rose Manor when a Santana overtook him from behind and stopped in front of him.
The one who got out of the car, if not Song Sisi, then who else could it be?
"Coming home so late, where have you been sneaking off to?"
"Where I sneak off to is none of your business," Qin Feng rolled his eyes and said, "You’re not my wife anyway!"
"Dare to speak to me like that, don’t you believe I’ll tell Xiaochan all the crap you’re saying?"
"Go ahead and tell her! Did I say anything wrong saying you’re not my wife? You’re not my wife anyway!"
Qin Feng chuckled and cheekily asked, "Coming here in the middle of the night, are you looking for Xiaochan?"
"Looking for you!"
Song Sisi’s reply shocked Qin Feng.
He looked at the woman before him disbelievingly and asked, "In the middle of the night, knowing your best friend is working overtime, you run to her house to find her husband? What are you up to? Does your best friend know about this?"
"I know Xiaochan is working overtime, so I came over to keep an eye on you, to see if you are doing anything behind her back that you shouldn’t."
"Heh!"
"What are you ’heh’-ing at?"
"Heh at you being dishonest, you obviously don’t know Xiaochan is working late."
"How would I not know that? I just called her, told her I was coming to find you, she said she was working overtime and told me to come directly to her house."
"Because Xiaochan isn’t working overtime! She’s been home for a while. If you don’t believe me, let’s go and check, she’s definitely at home."
"You... you bastard!"
Song Sisi then realized she’d been played by Qin Feng because she really hadn’t contacted Xue Xiaochan in advance.
She had come to find Qin Feng in the middle of the night to ask for his help. Thinking that Xue Xiaochan would definitely be at home, so she came straight over.
"What’s the matter anyway? If it’s not that urgent, we can talk about it tomorrow."
"Who says it’s not urgent? It’s urgent to death!"
"Urgent to death? Can’t you, as a girl, be a bit more reserved? Even if it’s urgent to death, you can’t just blurt it out like that!"
"Quit messing around and come with me already!"
Song Sisi was not polite with Qin Feng at all, she directly dragged him into the Santana. Then, slamming the gas pedal and sharply turning the wheel, she spun the Santana around.
Qin Feng was speechless and asked, "Just like that, you’re abducting me? You’re not even going to tell me where we’re going?"
"I’m taking you to a nice place."
Song Sisi didn’t answer directly but rather kept him guessing. Mainly because she was worried Qin Feng would bolt after hearing where they were headed.
After all, the place she was taking Qin Feng to was spooky enough during the day, let alone at night.
"A nice place? You’re going to take me to a nice place?" Qin Feng said, unconvinced.
"Of course!"
...
Half an hour later, the Santana stopped in front of a small building that looked rather ominous.
"Where is this?" Qin Feng asked.
"A nice place!" Song Sisi answered.
Qin Feng took a closer look and instantly drew a sharp breath. Because, even in the pitch-black dead of night, the three characters for "Morgue" were still glaringly prominent.
"Damn! You bring me to the morgue in the middle of the night? What are you up to? Don’t tell me you’re going to play a female corpse to scare me?"
"Play your sister’s female corpse, all the bodies in this morgue have disappeared. This matter is too strange, so I called you over to take a look."
