Li Yan released his grip, allowing her to withdraw her fist. He then smoothly moved his chair closer to her, tightly hugging her.
"What did I do? This is absurd! If you don’t give me a reasonable explanation, I might have to properly punish you here in the office." Li Yan licked his lips.
There were still people working outside. When he came in, he only closed the door to keep things discreet but didn’t bother locking it. Generally speaking, no one barges into the boss’s office, but in case of an emergency or if a particularly hot-headed colleague came in, it could be trouble!
The chance of being caught at any moment added to the thrill!
Seeing him getting fresh with her in the office made Li Jie’s face turn even darker. Feeling ashamed and angry, she remembered what she had agreed to earlier. The serious business he meant... turned out to be my dad’s fiftieth birthday?

You said you and your father have been busy but haven’t made money, only providing jobs for retired veterans who struggle to find work at forty.
