Chapter 1019: Dark place of the Kingdom

Creatures from other worlds were trapped like rats in a barrel, unable to escape.

Sierra, starting with the platinum-ranked creatures, disabled them one by one, appearing and disappearing like a grim reaper.

From below, where they fell like downed flies, Prina deftly picked them up with her long hair and dragged them along.

Watching the fighters fall down without encountering any resistance, some tried to take advantage of this opportunity. However, to their horror, they encountered an invisible barrier over and over again.

“It only lets through those who can no longer fight,” they quickly realized.

The fact that the singles were the first to fall forced everyone to gather in small groups to cover each other.

The night sky lit up with flashes of colorful spells, like fireworks exploding.

Their target was Sierra and the invisible barrier, but despite their best efforts, it seemed that neither she nor the barrier was doing anything.

Soon, everyone noticed one oddity: for some reason, not a single creature of Darkness was attacked, either alone or when they gathered in groups.

Downstairs, Prina quickly caught and tied up more than ten prisoners.

Her master at the top acted so delicately and precisely that the wounds were severe and incapacitating, but not fatal.

Prina looked up at the sky with admiration, trying to find Sierra.

“My Queen, did you call?”

Suddenly, a respectful voice distracted the Princess from her observation.

“I told you not to address me as the Queen. Call me Prina!” she corrected, and then added: “Pick them up and take them to the prison.”

Prina threw all the prisoners in front of another woman in black clothes.

“Yes, Lady Prina.” The woman’s hair began to move, and, picking up all the bound ones, casting a fanatical glance at the sky, she left, taking the prisoners with her.

On the side, Idan noticed the interaction of the two.

“When did this Womskinner woman become a follower of Prina?”

“Huh?” — Arabel, distracted from watching the battle, looked in the same direction that Idan was pointing.

“Ah, that’s the woman who was in the Guardian of Light group that you and Lina caught,” — Arabel recalled.

“Well, after she recognized Prina as the former Queen of her race, she swore allegiance to the Kingdom and became a big fan of Sierra.”

“Since Sierra and Prina occupied the prison themselves and began to manage this dark place of the Kingdom, they took her as their assistant.”

Arabel briefly explained everything she knew.

“So that’s it,” Idan nodded, turning his attention back to Prina, the former Queen of the Womskinner race. A thought flashed through his mind: “Maybe we should invite her to return and restore her power over the race, and then attract them to our Kingdom?”

Thinking about this, Idan thought of Tamisra Night, the leader of one of the Womskinner factions, a Diamond-ranked being with whom he had once made a deal.

“I wonder if she’s still alive?”

“What are you thinking about?” Arabel heard him whisper.

“I just thought…” — Idan did not hide it.

“It’s going to be quite difficult,” Arabel commented. “From what we’ve learned, after the disappearance of the Queen, the territory of the Womskinner race came under the control of the Territory of the Dark Beasts.”

“And that Tamisra you just mentioned took the place of the Queen and now rules the race, but under the command of a Rank 6 Dark Dragon.”

“Oh, even so?” wondered Idan.

“Yeah,” — Arabel nodded.

Idan’s thoughts began to revolve around his future plans, but his thoughts were interrupted when the situation at the top began to escalate.

The leaders of the creatures from other worlds, seeing that the situation was becoming more complicated, pulled out a black stone and smashed it. A strange wave swept over the Kingdom.

All the Awakened Ones below, including Idan and Arabel, felt their connection to the System being severed.

“This again,” instead of fear and worry, Idan and Arabel, who were already used to such phenomena, shook their heads.

However, the other Awakened Ones, having encountered this for the first time, began to panic.

“Don’t worry, it’s temporary.”

Idan’s voice sounded in everyone’s heads, suppressing the growing panic.

“Remember this for the future. The system is not omnipotent, and there are forces capable of resisting it, such as this black stone.”

“Learn to use at least some of your strength without the help of the System, so that you don’t end up helpless in situations like this.”

Idan did not expect such a turn of events, but he did not miss the opportunity to warn and give advice.

The effect of the black stone had no effect on Sierra, as she was not the Host of the System, and all her powers were her own.

She kept appearing in the most unexpected places, striking and disappearing.

Finally, when half of the Platinum-ranked creatures had fallen, the confidence of the Diamond-ranked creatures began to tremble, and the realization of defeat began to creep into their minds.

To make matters worse for them, all communications were blocked. They couldn’t contact their allies, and some, like the Guardian of Light, couldn’t contact their trump cards, as well as their believers, to use the power of faith.

“If we are destined to lose, then I will not give up without a fight!” — with these words, the Creature of Fire with a loud cry pulled out something round from its body, in which the chaotic energy of the elements pulsed. He began to pour his power into it, preparing to activate it.

“This is…” Idan and Arabel immediately recognized the “bomb” that the Beings of Light had already used against them twice.

“What are you doing?” the others shouted in desperation, not ready to accept such an outcome.

“Ha ha ha ha, what, what, I’m not going to give up. I’ll take her with me, just like you!” The Creature of Fire replied with a smile.

At that moment, a dark figure appeared in front of them, which easily cut off the arm of the Creature of Fire and disappeared, taking the sphere with it. Everything happened so quickly, as if this figure didn’t see the difference between Platinum and Diamond ranked creatures.

This realization filled all Diamond-ranked creatures with fear.

“Ha ha ha ha,” the Creature of Fire did not stop laughing. “I’ve already activated it, and nothing and no one can stop it.”

“You’re right,” Sierra’s voice came from behind him. “But I don’t need to.”

The Creature of Fire, caught off guard, did not have time to react, as Sierra struck with her dark blade, and its head shot up.

Thus fell the first of the invaders, and not just a weak Platinum-ranked creature, but one of the strongest representatives of the Diamond rank.
